    Not sure if you're on the forums or not, but BOV's for both the 10th and 11th gen Civics (and now Integras) were advised not to be used since the ECU uses the BPV for help maintaining target boost levels. You may want to revert back to the stock BPV in order to prevent any potential harm to the car. Big fan of the videos tho!

      Interesting. I’ll definitely have to take a look into it. So far I haven’t noticed any differences as far as power delivery or boost but I’ll make sure to do some more research on it. I appreciate the heads up though and don’t forget to subscribe.

      @@Seriouslyswayy If you google search 'civicx bov' you'll see a ton of threads about it.. All tuners John Vega and D Rob both say these are not recommended on the cars and many people have ignored that and later on had to revert back to the OEM valve.

      Something similar happened in my Audi Q5. I put on an atmospheric diverter valve and everything was fine except for a few times. When after cruising on the highway for an extended period I tried to floor it and the system freaked out over the turbo rpm’s. It was fun but I’ll eventually take this one off.

    I just got my bov today! You have any tips cause my hands are too big to reach down to take the screws out to attach it😭 I don’t wanna drop a screw

      Man it’s really a struggle. Thankfully I was able to get in there but I would recommend that if you don’t have enough space you take the inlet pipe out. More work but it will make it easier for you. Don’t forget to subscribe

    Honest question I have the part in my hand that hose behind the bov doesn’t get too hot being so close/ on it?

    • @exantuscreations8321
      @exantuscreations8321  18 дней назад

      Those hoses are designed to withstand the high temp heats. Now if they were to be touching the downpipe that has no heat shield on it then you’d probably have some issues but the exposed engine bay is fine though. Make sure to hit that subscribe.

      @@exantuscreations8321 yea I ran it, sounds awesome but my buddy told me the new integra and newer civics don’t have the ability to take these parts and it may damage the engine ngl idk if it’s true but I rather not risk it.

      It is true, so I’m also going to take mine off. This is something that engine learns in time by using the measurements of the stock turbo charger, and when we divert the air to atmosphere, it can mess with the calibration nothing super concerning, but it can cause your car to throw errors in the long run.

      @@exantuscreations8321 yes! It’s awesome and fun, but exactly in the long run I don’t want it hurting my baby 🥲

    Maybe the video can't pick it up but i hear it slightly. Without knowing the price and how long it took to install this part is it worth it ?

    • @exantuscreations8321
      @exantuscreations8321  2 месяца назад

      That is really just going to depend on you. Just a disclaimer this will do nothing for performance and just purely allows you to hear more sounds from the turbo. So would I do it again on another car……..yes, yes I would 😂. Don’t forget to subscribe

      @@aale7777 it took me about 45 min to an hr and it was 112 I opted for free shipping from boomba racing it’s worth it I heard the noises I think it’s awesome but I don’t want to mess up my engine just in case so I’ll be removing it and just putting prl intake system and exhaust system tbh.
