Boozy, tobacco and leather are also my favorite notes! My favorite Amouage is Overture, been using it all summer and it's amazing in the high dry heat, also Black Iris. I will get a bottle but I have some things to buy first. Love to hear your take on it, thank you Max!!!
This sounds like it is right up my alley. My favorite Amouage is Jubilation 25 followed by Dia Man and Reflection Man. Tobacco, booze, and leather are my favorite notes in perfumery. I will definitely be giving this a sample! Great review as usual!

Right there with you on the winning trifecta note breakdown of leather/booze/tobacco. It took my a long time to appreciate Amouage as they’re very complex. I like the direction of the new creative director, it’s a bit more accessible for me. Black Iris is still my favorite from this house. You do a great job with your assessment. Look forward to trying this new tobacco addition. Bottle looks lovely.

Great review! Looking forward to try it. I’m a big fan of Amouage and I got the chance to try the new collection except for this one. Overall the new collection is a beast and I’m pretty sure it’s going to be as amazing as the others. I love to tobacco notes as well.

Great review. I purchased my bottle shortly after your review but haven’t worn it yet. It is now November 2022 & the temp in New Jersey finally dropped. One that truly stands out to me and that I absolutely adore and will always have in my collection is the Clive Christian X Tabac Twist. It is a gorgeous take on tobacco and masculinity. I've been on a scavenger hunt to see if there is a tobacco fragrance that can beat it. Trying to get my nose on Royal Tobacco

While my favorite Amouage won’t win any popularity contests being Lilac Love, I do love strong tobacco fragrances with a lot of personality like Mancera Red Tobacco. I have Amouage Interlude 53 and Interlude Black Iris by Pierre Negrin already in my Collection and ordered Royal Tobacco just yesterday. I absolutely Love Cecile Zarokian. Her Fragrances are always spot on and she never failes. I also have Nishane Ani in my Collection and this was also made by Cecile. Brilliant Nose!

Anxious to try based on your review that it takes tobacco and boozy accords in a new directions. Nice to be on the leading edge of a new fragrance trend. Fall season coming soon and a great time to try this and stand out.
Looking forward to trying this one. Glad to hear it’s not similar to Boundless and Journey (have both of those). Bold statement with “ground breaking” and comparison to Aventus and BR549. I’ll definitely get a sample of this one.

I tried most amouage perfumes. I'm telling you this takes it to another level. One single puff and the place is blowing into a symphony of odors with tobacco being the conductor. 9 hours easy staying around
Excellent review. This sounds like one to be excited about. I would like to win one of the decants because Interlude Black Iris is one of my all time favorites and my most worn tobacco scents are Naxos and Red Tobacco. It would be very nice to discover a new tobacco that is as nice or better than those two. Be blessed and keep up the excellent work.
my fav Amouage fragrance is def between Interlude and Journey. I've had bottles of both... debating on getting a new bottle of Interlude or going in a diff direction because I do have a strong oud fragrance in TF Oud Wood Intense... will be sampling this one towards end of summer

Hi, Max! Thanks for another great video! I'd love to smell Royal Tobacco as I'm a fan of Chergui from Serge Lutens, for example. And I've never managed to actually smell any Amouage fragrance before. Not retailed in my French hometown... Too bad! Anyway, thanks for your work and passion, and also I love when you do joint videos with Persolaise!!!
Thanks for your insights, Max, and for all your work. I haven't yet smelled any of the Library collection fragrances by Amouage because of the price point. But if I am collecting my pennies, it is for them. The new bottles are exemplary in their design--understated but striking nonetheless. The powerful combination of cardamom and tobacco sounds just perfect and swoonworthy to me. I shall look forward to this, so I hope you pick me as one of the winners! Tobacco is one of my favorite notes in perfumery so I would love to win! Regardless I'll have to check this one out. Especially if it's unlike other tobaccos bringing something new to the table. My favorite Amouage is either Jubilation XXV or Enclave.

Royal Tobacco finally came at Eastern Europe outside parfumeries. It's 175 euros and can't wait to get my hands on this Amouage next week. As I heard it have power right away from new opened bottle and I like it. Can't imagine how strong it will get in few months.

The only Opus I have is my first and only Amouage ever. And that is Opus VIII. Powerful, resinous, dark, mysterious and unique. I love it. I can't wait to get more Amouages, especially Reflection, Jubilation, Epic, Sunshine, Beachhut, Overture, Royal Oud and this new Cecile masterpiece, Royal Tobacco. Thanks for the video, Max.

Got a 2ml sample of Royal Tobacco. Very eager in anticipation of something fantastic. Unfortunately, it failed to float my boat. The scent to my amateur-nose: medicinal-herby juice, with anise, smoke, green and brown tobacco leaves.
All time favorite amouage? Sacrilege! They're all amazing!
I went to try this at my local Amouage retailer and they didn’t have it! It sounds like it’s definitely what I’m looking for! My only other Amouage is Jubilation XXV.
