This review is spot on. I really smelt that maple syrup from the jump coming from the fenugreek on paper. I have a perfume test strip that is really good at absorbing perfume oils, so that note really stood out in the beginning for me. It has a realistic maple syrup smell combined with the other notes. Adds an unexpected sweetness. To me it is an addictive smell. Smells so good.
I pre-ordered a full bottle and on first sniff I was blown away. It's complex, smooth, evolves in such interesting ways. A take on tobacco incense that's unique and imo a masterpiece. We're still in the summer and I spray it on my arm at night because it smells so good it brightens my mood.

For me its a lcorice bomb in the beginning, definitely very luxurious tobacco note...I just have it on my skin and love how it changes when it dries down...feels cozy, great winter scent...but not sure If I would want to wear this on a daily basis. Definitely nothing I have smelled before.
I have a sample of royal tabacco a few weeks ago , im for sure getting a full bottle for the fall / winter . This is an amazing and unique scent
I agree, Amouage makes really good fragrances for men. I tend to shy away from their women’s collection as they are mostly daring and more complex than what I’m used to. I find that their simpler and more crowd pleasing collection are still great performers, they still project and last for hours.

This one knocked my socks off! Starts with a lot of liquorice och heavy tobacco and the sweetness reminds me a bit of black phantom by kilian and then comes the smokiness and incense and it is so smooth it just blows me away. It is a tight balence for me when it comes to smokiness but it really ads an amazing nuance. After two days it is still a skinscent!!! It is a true beast!

To me, the dry down smells like a very strong yet very smooth and sweet, iced vanilla latte. Very nice, very bold, very unique. 10/10. (Not for those new to niche fragrances, get a sample first. For niche fragrance lovers, I would say it's a blind buy because it's very unique and I can guarantee u won't have something like this in your collection. Plus it smells amazing.)

Sounds like a good fragrance. I'm just scared if it's too similar to Zaharoff tabac and penhaligons tobacco fragrance, which I absolutely love.

I have interlude man. Not for the usual. It's dominant. When wearing Amouage, you have to wear it with great confidence or else folks will second guess your intentions.
I get smoky frankensense and it is too much. It makes it smokey. Anyone see this? Im ok for smooth smoke but this is heavy to me

It's wayyyyyyy to intense. Shit will age you about 15 years. A well formulated scent indeed but it's just too much. It's not smooth it's rugged AF

I think you’re the one who love the normal mass pleasing smell. It’s nice but some people like us loves this scent. We love the ‘journey’ of the scent from first spray till the very end. Masterpiece .
