Amouage have provided this bottle to me without charge, but there are no limits on what I must say about the fragrance- as always my reviews are 100% my honest thoughts and opinions, Amouage had no input in the content of this review.

Aaron is the only reviewer worth listening to. He’s not a sell out like so many others.
He used to be much more harsh, but I think a company threatened to sue him or some shit
@@pwj86772 Not so much companies. Just people get a little tender when he doesn't like their favorite fragrance. (I'm guessing)
Even if he isn't as harsh wether that be projecting what he likes/dislikes, getting strong armed by a larger company, and maybe last but not least when he's entered a larger arena with his perfumes he saw the effort to put a scent out and calmed down a bit on harsh feedback...even after all that, his reviews are still second to none in a sense of a breakdown of formulation but also how this all blends together to create a final product. No other reviewer does this at this level.

One of the most beautiful scents that I’ve ever smelled. This is now my top favorite to buy this winter. I usually don’t go for frags that are over 300€ but for this one I will make an exception. I’m 25 and I feel like this could be my signature for the night, going out, “classy bad guy” fragrance

Oh baby, Amouage is kinda ruin my perfume experience since I’ve smelled them. The fragrances are so good so they setting the bar really high, so it’s really hard to find something that is on the same level. I think I have to buy royal tobacco too, rip my wallet 😂.

The dry down of this on skin and in the air speaks to me like no other fragrance has in a good while
In the air it's hard to believe that's the same fragrance on my skin. Colder weather will open this fragrance it'll go berserker!

This is one stunning release from the house. I love the journey the scent takes you on.
Amouage is one of my top houses now. Their frags are the real deal.
I have this one. A few weeks ago I tried a sample. Absolutely gorgeous.
It can have a slight curry note but on my skin it's more Pine, Earthy, Licorice, Birch Tar,..
No vanilla ,Musk, Tonka Bean or Benzoin.
It almost has a slight Anise note. I did not notice too much Tobacco or Guiacwood.
Reminds me of walking in G Boys with Christmas trees with Incense
Spicier than Memo Paris Russian Leather. That's pine too.
Would’ve never known you to not wear a tobacco scent seeing that you created a beautiful one yourself. Tabac is King. Great review, this one is really good as well.
I have Tabac and love it so I was surprised to hear ATH say he is not a fan of tobacco fragrances

Just got my bottle this week. Love this so much!! I love woodsy scents in general, but this one is really rich and provocative. The dry-down is beautiful.
the perfurmer also made Material which is absolutely my favourate amouage scent ever created. A masterpiece.
The way he explores the fragrance, like no one else does, is truly remarkable. He is certainly contributing to the fragrance community by fostering an understanding, comprehension, and interpretation of the creation. Fantastic work 👏

I love Aaron. His voice and movements coupled with his spoken knowledge about perfumery are intoxicating. He keeps you engaged and craving more. Love every one of his fragrances except Legend, it’s not great on my skin for some reason.

Very sophisticated scent, I remember the sample smelling sweet but then the bottle just ended up smelling super dark.

Royal Tobacco is super classy. The drydown is to die for absolutely. Take a bow Cecile Zarokian (the perfumer) still churning out massive hits

To this day I feel so bad that I missed out on Smoulder, I have a little 5ml sample and damn it is so good. i won't be missing out on the flanker.
I really respect this fragrance. I had a sample, it's thus far the strongest tobacco fragrance I tried. However, it isn't full bottle purchase for me. It's so strong, I'm not even sure what occasion this would go for. ATH, nailed it when he said this is a very serious tobacco fragrance. More for a senior gentleman IMO.

This is my favourite house , I use a selection of there fragrances and yes I think you are right you can smell the quality of raw ingredients . Expensive smelling compliment getters

Royal tobacco uses tobacco absolute which a lot don’t . This makes it a much more authentic tobacco fragrance than a lot of others

Herod is the best tobacco fragrance ever. I got to try royal tobacco. Amouage is high quality stuff. I just haven't found anything yet that will beat Herod smells so dam good

Hi Aaron, did you pick up any maple lactone in this? This is compared to Clive Christian Oriental Gourmand. I love maple lacton because if its radiance. Unfortunately, the nearest store Amouage store in Bangkok doesnt carry it. In any case, I really appreciate your integrity--it is clear that you were giving your true opinion. Never change that about yourself.
For me the clove note is too prominent in this scent! Too much of a christmas vibe.

There is something in this one that makes me think of immortelle, which does have hay and tobacco nuances itself. I find this comparable to L'Innommable from Serge Lutens.

You’ve gotta get your hands on Tobacolor by Dior. Enchanting, ashy tobacco with plum and honey blended beautifully in there.
Idk, it's very nice, but sweet sweet sweet. It makes it feel rather designer/mainstream. It's smoke note is the best I've smelled tho.

I recently got a 2ml sample. My amateur nose smells; medicinal-herbs, smoke, brown and green tobacco leaves, star anise.

regards to sending bottles to reviewers: they might say okay, when you tell them you won't lie about the fragrance if it's not good or anything, but just they just stop sending free stuff withour a word... ROJA, Creed does this, and the majority of the big brands too, for sure

I love Royal Tobacco. It's one of my three Amouages along with Interlude and Journey. I love all three but Journey probably the least of the three.

Aaron - there is one perfume where I smell something completely different depending on the day. I can smell Creed Aventus right out of the bottle and it has two distinct and different smells on different days. The clones are the same, but not happening with any other fragrance. Has anyone ever experienced this?

Review for nefs nishane plssss
I get a big reference to Oud For Greatness and (to a lesser extent) BR540 in this: Evernyl / Ethyl Maltol in high doses, Ambrox and Amberwood base pushing and Hedione brightening the composition. Not much tobacco or tobacco-like materials to my nose and the herbal / licorice part is a bit too wierd for my taste, much prefer Journey Man for a 'tobacco' Amouage
The tobacco absolute definitely gives a tobacco fragrance I just think we’re used to tobacco fragrances being built differently, a lot are more honey like xerjoffs Naxos ( one of my favourites)
I think after this review I bought a sample of this fragrance, it’s wearable but not something I love. I don’t think this is the pinnacle of tobacco scents. It’s a rough and aggressive scent. Everyone at my job had the same feeling about it.
You’re gonna like Imitation Man. I don’t know your work (fkin brexit) but the first thing that comes to my mind when smelling Imitation is HARD CANDY
