Please have more interviews like this with the perfumers, it’s very informative and enjoyable to watch. I own this fragrance and love it. There is nothing else like it in this category and it stands out.
Does is the same heavy smell like interlude ? Because I ordered ROyal Tabacco, and some other told me is really closer to interlude
@@viktorbondar4174 that is probably due to the frankincense (which is in many of their fragrances) and also the fact that Amouage uses higher levels of naturals. Give it about an hour and the opening notes will shift but it has great longevity and projection. I hope you enjoy it.

Oo la la, Cecile is lookin' 🔥😍 Great tip on the prunol. And she's right, too many tobacco fragrances nowadays take the focus away from the tobacco and put it on the sweeter base notes. Wonderful to hear that she enjoyed her vacation!

I always really enjoy listening to Cécile and the passion she has for her work, from working with new materials and how she brings a personal touch with her own memorys of certain smells into a fragrance she always brings a fragrance to life when she describes her creations. And also not forgetting how beautiful she is with her french accent too Thank you for sharing with us I'm so so looking forward to getting my nose on this fragrance it's right up my street sounds beautiful and the bottle looks amazing in that colour looks as though it has been carved from the vinest stone when is royal tobacco available to buy or is it already out there???

Fenugreek has rhe tendency to smell like maple syrup off the skin if you eat enough it. That's what jarred my memory when you two were talking about the molasses aspects. Loved the video

I think Cecile is one of the best perfumers in the niche and independent sphere. I wonder what more knock out fragrances she has in store for us. I’m a big fan of Silver Oud and have my eyes on a Bottle of Cabaret Nocturne by Vsiteur

I loved the interview and I am a big fan of her work and the house of Amouage , I have 7 bottles from this house with Interlude 53 being my favorite followed by Boundless & Journey Man ! I am a huge fan of tabacco scents , I only wish I could find this in the states right now , will it be only a matter of time before Luckyscent or Maxaroma carry it ? Cheers Brutha 😎

Yeah that's what my friend who's a tobacco fanatic told me about it. We share that love but in most tobacco 's the tobacco doesn't shine. He said the same here, he described it as more of a incense scent. I do love my amber though so I'll probably still try when my Neuman gets it

@@drknapp4482sultan pasha tabac grande, thank me later. It’s the best tobacco fragrance and I’ve owned them all practically, It’s nuclear and a 3ml goes forever I’ve had it years. For reference, I have royal tobacco, Herod, ambre tabac, red tobacco, tobacco vanille, side effect, journey man, creation e, tobacco Oud, Naxos, jazz club, I’m probably missing some too.
I was really curious about this fragrance and I have to say Sebastian you did a great review on it.... that was really cool to have the perfumer who actually made it on a zoom call....Now that different!!!

Hiya! I'd like to ask you for your opinion, please. I'm looking for the patchouli with the very green aspect, very earthy pure earth with a hint of greenness like Yalong .As all together would smell unearthly like the thunder flash on the wet moss . Camphor would be appreciated on the top. thank you in advance.

Royal Tobacco smells so rich and more powerful than Journey man. I’ve got both. But trust me your can never go wrong with Royal Tobacco. Easily 14 hours longevity even in summer.

This one much more similar to some of her other work like Material and Cafe Cabanel in the drydown. To me it’s not much like any other tobacco fragrance.

Greetings....to me, this is an incense based fragrance with tobacco falling way too short of being of the superstardom factor. By the way, I never thanked you for putting me on to pavillon rouge which has become my signature scent. Thank you!
I get more in the dry down and greens spices and aromatics up top and mids. 😀
What I mean was I get more Amber in the dry down and the rest is correct as I said below and yes not so tobaccoish! :)

Testing is so important, I got my Royal Tobacco tester from Amouage Oman - and I don’t like it. Creamy dark fragrances won’t grow on me, also tried Overture Woman and that is way too sweet for my wife or me. I am so happy with Beach Hut Man, Blossom Love and Sunshine Woman (it is alright, only radiation is not that great snell is good).
I would change my mind to: interesting smell. Royal Tobacco reminds me on a camp fire…
