I have Slow Dive, Naxos, Montobaco and now Royal Tobacco completely different scents I love then all
I just got my bottle. I need to wear it a few times before I can render a definite opinion. But on first impression it smells wonderfully. Spicy. Resinous. Woody. Balsamic. However, it is not as tobacco dominant as I expected. I smell more tobacco from Amouage Boundless.
Spices dominate this perfume. Cloves and Cardamom are notable. There is a cinnamon smell but I think it comes from the benzoin. A dominant note is Elemi. That resin needs to be used very sparing because it is very high-pitched sweet, penetrating, dominant, and long-lasting. The smell of that resin can stay on your skin for days if you touch it. Elemi is used in the Philippines and other Asian Pacific countries as an insect repellant. And repelling it can be despite its pleasant smell. A little too much, and it doesn't take much, it gets so piercingly sweet that it repels you. I feel that it was used just a little too much in Royal Tobacco. It is the note that lasted and stood out more on me.

Nice and great review but you said you have never smelt something like Royal Tobacco- please try leather Tabac - they smell alike but Royal Tobacco smell more lighter than the leather Tabac. I love Royal Tobacco for real🎉

Hello Steven ! Nice video again! Hope to find a sample to test this new release. However ,here in Greece , unfortunately is hard to get samples from niche brands :( especially by Amouage
I know what you mean. I would highly recommend Rosina Perfumery in Glyfada, but I don't think they carry Amouage unfortunately.

A bit late but I ordered one, hope it will live up to my expectations as it is a very expensive blind buy (€325, the Netherlands) and going to be a dud.
I have this on order. Looks like I'm going to like this. But amouage is lacking in their deadline department. Should have been shipped out 19th but told have to wait a little longer.

Im a fan of tobacco but the incense here is too strong for the first 5 hours. Im planning to try it but in very cold weather. Some of my friend said I smelled like church or witchcraft 😂😂

I have a bottle the smell is so strong I can confirm this is the strongest perfume ever made it is awesome.
Maybe Im not sophisticated enough but I feel the house of Amouage makes fragrances for just a certain type of people. I feel like only people with strong PH, Middle Eastern people or wealthy people can pull them out haha. I also know our sense of smell changes a lot just like our opinions so in a future they have something that I’d love to get. I’m more into fresh/woody/citrus type of notes.

Definitely Amouage royal tobacco, have vibe tom ford tobacco oud little bit
Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille is much sweeter with more of a pipe Tobacco note.
This one is darker with more spice and boldness.

This fragrance is the worst scent I’ve ever smelled in my life. I can not, objectively, believe that a company produced this let alone that a human would want to wear this. I’ve lost so much faith in reviewers after this disaster.
