This is the fragrance I'm waiting to try with the highest anticipation! Amouage is totally my favourite house.
Jubilation is my cold weather favorite, but Interlude is amazing too. Reflection is what I love the most for warmer "classy" days (and I'm really into jasmine).
This sounds like the ultimate winter weather powerhouse fragrance that would be perfect for the cold winters in Pittsburgh! I’d love to wear this and be the best smelling guy in the city!

I like that you said “Amouage is back” because I am a huge fan of their original incense and myrrh lineup. In my opinion those are some of the best fragrances around. My favorites from the house are Epic Man, Jubilation XV, and Reflection Man. Would love to try this new release and it’ll be sad to see Christopher Chong go.
This sounds PERFECT for me this winter! Sadly I have not had the opportunity to try anything by Amouage yet, but this one might be the first, even if I don't win.

I have just started really exploring scents and in my short journey, I have discovered my nose is developed - probably because I explored wine and cigars, which require sensitive noses.
So, cheap scents smell cheap. I love smelling great, and only the best fragrances excite me. Portrayal Man is a tremendous scent. I would believe Overture Man is tremendous, too. I would love to find out.

I was lucky enough to snag a decant of this and it is definitely on the masterpiece level of Interlude or Jubilation. On me the cognac blast is not sharp, but rather smooth with an effervescent sparkle, but it is boozy! I can see where you're getting a sense of tobacco, yet I don't detect any leather. There might be a very faint floral accord in the heart, at least to my nose. This is a great, smoky resinous fragrance with booze. Can't wait to get a bottle of it. Thanks for the good review Max!

Great video love this house!! I would love to receive the decants! I believe this fragrance would remind me of my father who I lost in 2012. He loved fragrance as much as I do and for some reason this is resonating with me as a wonderful memory of my fathers scent. Thanks in advance for your consideration!

Never smelled any Amuages other than clones. Of course it's not the same, but I'm sure I'd be in heaven if I would get the real thing. This sounds soooo up my alley. Would be ecstatic if I won. Thanks again Max for the opportunity and great videos.

Great review definately want to get my nose on this based on the notes so the decant would be a blessing as samples aren't available yet to my knowledge. Reflection and jubilation are awesome. Interlude is cool but ber sa stile enough for me and I still need to look into Dia and Journey.

1. I have never tried Overture Man.
2. I believe it was your suggestion that caused me to try Amouage (THE BLUE BEAST!!) in the first place!!
3. As per your own words, I absolutely LOVE boozy, tobacco (not to mention LEATHER and resinous) fragrances.
4. I am myself a band director and musician, therefore "Overture" is basically for me! Lol
5. I'm definitely looking for a fun, new, cold weather fragrance to wear every so often!!

1 interlude , its the second one i bought for them but its what made me fall in love with the house and niche perfumery in general
2 dia man , if interlude is my 1A, dia is my 1B , it just works for me I feel it gels with my personality
3 memoir man that bizzare concoction of green and aromatic combined with the smoky and woody nuances it really makes me feel like I am strolling through a burning evergreen forest wearing a black leather jacket its so incredibly masculine and its a confidence booster for me , i actually rock it to the club , dress to the nines,
HM to jubilation , i love it , its incredible , lyric man it was what sparked my love for rose, i will always have a bottle , and to reflection man , my first ever niche purchase and ciel man a more niche spin on the reflection dna, both are spring mainstays
this was really difficult I love all 20 of my amouages

I have not tried it yet but will soon. For me, my favorite Amouage is Beach Hut Man. I absolutely love that juice!

Tried out many Amouages but have to say I don't exactly get the hype about Jubilation. The way you describe Overture is quite like how I would describe Jubilation to be. Would love to give this genre another try!

I want to win because I am a music man! I really love this house and I have so many favorites. There is Journey, Lyric, Interlude, Jubilation and Fate. I recently wore Silver last week and I got a couple of compliments. Nice review Max and I cant wait to give this a try.
A perfect score for an Amouage! Very cool, I definitely think I'm a fan of Amouage myself, and tested many but this newest release seems very promising. I'd say it's an elegant *overture* of the ending of Mr. Chong's legacy within the brand. Imitation for Man was a fantastic conceptual piece driven from Chong's memories in Disco-era New York City, and may be my favorite from the brand simply because with it I can easily connect with the music and dance culture of that period. I'd love to win and try this one out! P.S. Chris is also a fan of Opera which i would definitely infer be the reason he would want to leave with a "bang" like this one.

Well Max the only thing I can say is that I love your take on fragrances period. I am not sure I am deserving of a decant but I will say this. If I did win, it would be my first niche in my new collection (20 bottles to date). This is my mid life crisis - my wife thinks I am going crazy. Keep up the good work. I still have a little bit of my 1986 bottle of Polo green. Probably would come off a bit niche now?!

I love boozy scents and Amouage has been impressive house so far. This fragrance seems just quite limited when it comes to where you can buy it and the price tag is high so would be nice to try it before making a blind buy even though I'm sure that I will enjoy this fragrance.

I love Bracken, Jubilation, Reflection. Those are my top three, but interlude woman is a very interesting fragrance that I just spray on and enjoy it’s complexity (chaotic smell). Lately I have been enjoying santal noir which is a very nice boozy fragrance
