Vast majority of Amouage fragnances are beasts on my skin. Sometimes they have ...too good projection and longevity and I feel a little bit overhelmed by them ;)

This is my first Amouage I ever put my nose on and I love it. I’m fairly new to niche. The closet thing to niche I’ve dabbled in has been Mancera, which is fairly safe. I‘m at a point where I want to start taking some risks. Black Iris is a winner for me.
Both Interludes are so good, incredible art is in these two scents. In my top 3 for life scents, the two Amouages would be part of that for sure.
This was my first Amouage fragrance, EVER!! Just opened it last night. I'm just getting into niche and this one is definitely a BEAST. I can't say it's a love, yet, but I definitely enjoy how different it is from the rest of my collection and the dry down is spectacular.

A verry intresting review of Interlude Black Iris 👍 Amouage is my number one niche house and I love the "Blue Beast" and I hope to get my hands on Interlude Black Iris soon.

Just like you said. Where the original interlude was a bit too much for me. The Black Iris version is Perfect. I like the added creamy sweet aspect of it. I couldn’t stand the oregano in the opening of interlude man. I don’t think it’s 90% similar. The differences that were made are significant. At least to my nose. Someone who isn’t into niche could barely appreciate the original interlude. Tho I could see black iris getting some compliments here and there by average people.
Olá Max! Que bom ver seus vídeos com legenda. Ganhou um novo inscrito. Resenha bem detalhada e técnica. Adorei. Aumentou minha curiosidade sobre o Black Iris, eu já tinha visto 2 resenhas gringas mas a sua com legenda ficou bem interessante. Amouage é a casa que tenho mais perfumes, 6 (minha coleção é pequena, 35 ao todo) e meus preferidos são Epic, Jubi e Sunshine. Eu gosto do Interlude mas ainda não animei pegar frasco, acho que vou embarcar no Black Iris 🤩😁

Fala , Max Forti! Rumo aos 100.000 inscritos antes de agosto! Vai dar tudo certo! Comprei um contratipo do perfume Reflection Man, de uma casa de contratipos aqui do Brasil, e gostei muito! Um cheiro de flores brancas bem masculino, interessante demais. A similaridade entre esse contratipo e seu original alcança algo em torno de 85 a 90 % na evolução. Parabéns por seus excelentes vídeos.

I also love Reflection and Beach Hut. Lyric is lovely, but I'm not the right person to wear it.
Interlude is great, I love the opening, and I like the fragrance overall!
Memoir Man is soooo good.
Still struggling a bit with Imitation Man (developing a real appreciation for it)

I'm sure this is a great fragrance but I don't see a reason to have this and the original, and being that I already have the original and appreciate the beastly-ness of it (don't want it to be tamed). With both available there is not much reason to buy this new version because people liked the original because it was "beastly." I personally never asked for it to be tamed B-) . I think that is the only error with this fragrance. Why try to tame the beast?? #DontTameTheBeast. I think a more "beastly" version of Reflection Man - #ManifestMan - would have been better. Or maybe a modernization of Gold Man with ambergris instead of civit. They could call it #AmouagePlatinum I mean I'm here people if you need ideas B-)

Amouage é uma casa difícil, especialmente no clima brasileiro, gosto muito do Reflection e até mesmo do Dia, mas os demais tenho bastante dificuldade em encontrar situações que se encaixem.

Great video. I have heard for many that love the original, this one is not really a must have. My top 5 (as they are the ones that I have bottles of so far): 1) Bracken Man, 2) Reflection Man, 3) Beach Hut Man, 4) Honour Man, 5) Jubilation XXV.

I haven't smelled the new version, but I think I would be like Max, and I would choose the Original interlude. My favorite of all Amouage is Epic Man.
I got a sample of Interlude Man and the smell is so unique and stays so long on the skin and clothes!!

Just bought this! When the aftershaves wears you instead of you wearing the aftershave 😅 80% of my brain loves it 20% of my brain just wants to shut off and move away from this smell. Very interesting overall! DO NOT BLIND BUY
Max, colocando legenda ajuda muito, eu assisto todos os vídeos, mas sei que muuita gente não assiste só com legendas...vc já pensou em criar outro canal e fazer de repente a mesma resenha que acabou de fazer para o canal americano em português? Praticamente repetiria duas vezes, uma em cada idioma. Creio que só com o canal brasileiro vc provavelmente seria um dos maiores canais tranquilo, pela qualidade de suas resenhas, de imagem, som, cenário..., além de ter acesso sempre primeiro aos lançamentos por estar nos estados unidos. Acho que você poderia fazer um teste pelo menos com os próximos 5 ou 10 vídeos, mas obviamente isso é só uma sugestão e posso estar falando bobagem, mas não custaria muito a mais tentar....Abraços e parabéns pelo trabalho.

Aqui no Brasil, temos um excelente perfume de nicho com a nota de Iris Negra: "Black Heroin - Ultra Extrait Parfum" da casa Sapientiae Niche. Sensacional !!! E tem resenha do JB !!!

I had decided to pick the beast(Interlude Black Iris) Instead, I opted for the beast slayer(Epic). I'm sure each one has a different preference, but a guy with no nose would agree that Epic is better than Interlude Black Iris.

Iris is just a top note and disappears quickly and you left with interlude man imo.
Great review Max. Tried it out from a friend who pre-ordered it. Kinda underwhelming IMHO. Guess this is what happens when your longtime creative director leaves. Lazy cash grab? BTW lots of RUclipsr schills out there...some even get flown to Oman.
