What does journey man smell like compared to the other amouage scents???
@@johngregorio9183 It's a spicy tobacco, and incense frag. The note that really sets it apart is sichuan pepper! It's very realistic! I'd get a decant. It can be a shock when you first smell but it gets more addicting the more you smell it!

Journey man is a masterpiece and its not for boys.
Just a random comment. I'm not as into fragrances as I was 5 or 6 months ago (I usually go through phases; I'm sure I'll be back). But, I still like to check in from time to time, and I wanted to say that you two are my favorite duo on RUclips. I almost view Redolessence/BFL as one mammoth channel, even though I know that each of you are doing great things with your own channels. So take that for what it's worth. I'm sure I'm not the first to say this, but your chemistry with one another and your kind, down-to-earth personalities makes your videos enjoyable even for someone like myself who is currently taking somewhat of a break from fragrances. Another Amouage masterpiece. Loved hearing your take on it. I think my favourite Amouage is Imitation Man.
This is probably my favourite Amouage. I do like Jubilation but it lasts less than 5 hrs these days. Problem with this one is that it's just not widely available here in the States.

Amouage is one of my favorite niche houses and I own 11 Amouage fragrances and love them all. Overture Man is on my buying list.
My Top 5: Interlude Black Iris, Jubilation XXV Man, Journey Man, Reflection Man and Honour Man
Enclave has quickly become one of my favorite Amouages along with Bracken man. Enclave is so smooth, sweet, spicey and is a complete beast. I got a handful of comments on it the first two times I wore it.
Epic man and Interlude are my favorite so far. Looking forward to trying this one. Is there a made in Oman and UK with Overture?

I usually have to grow into most fragrances however, Overture knocked me over on first spray. As you have mentioned many times, fragrances that you love evoke a memory. About 20 years ago, friends and I would frequent a cigar bar and I would enjoy an Ashton Churchill cigar with a couple of fingers of Laphroaig. The smell of those Dominican/ Connecticut leaves burning with my favorite single malt with its smoky peat of Islay was brought back with this beautiful concoction. I have to put Interlude BI back to the second row of Amouage.
I’m looking for a sample of Jubilation XXV to see if it can knock Overture off its pedestal but, I suspect it will be a tough row to hoe.

Mare Crisium Yeah that’s the funny thing about fragrances on me Epic Man last full work day to the point my wife can still smell it when I get home and give her a hug hello. And while it’s there it smells amazing.

The only Amouage that rubs me the wrong way is Figment.
My favorite is either Epic, Lyric or Overture Man

i recently got a sample of interlude black iris , that one was gorgeous....i wasnt feeling the top note at first but after a while it just grabbed me and i woke up with it still there...i just order a sample of the interlude just to try it out..

I got this one, I like it. Still wearing to experience more but you definitely get old man and sweaty odour vibes during the animalic stages of this fragrance. Not in a bad way. As you stated this is not suited to everyone, but I personally think it’s the best Amouage to date.

Overture is much darker and not as sweet.
Well i got to check this one out since its my favorite house there is about 5 i have not smelled but my favorite is interlude man it was my first ever neiche but i love every amouage .
