But if you're smelling it in the air when someone passes you by, no chance you could tell if the parfum is fake or not even though you are very familiar with the original scent. Interesting video
I loved the end! I think revealing the price of each of the perfumes and asking them if the original is worth the cost would be a nice addition! Sure, Creed Aventus smells nice! But does it smell $200 nice?

I'm sure I could find fragrance basics elsewhere, but would love to see you two do a video on it. Dos and Donts, where to buy, what to go for different occasions. Love the content, keep it up!
I love Aventus and wear it everyday as my signature smell but there is no way i would recommend anybody to spend 300$ bucks on it - its just not 10x better than the Armaf.
Same here! I have a bottle of Creed Aventus that I've had for years. I love it, but only marginally more than Armaf CDNI. Aventus is definitely not worth the difference in price.
@@eveyoung3656 There are some exceptional ones that are worth it, also niche doesn't mean high-end so not per se expensive. A Montale/Mancera frag can be discounted to even 60 euro's for a 100/120ml. I have Armaf Club de Nuit which is a clone of Creed Aventus. It costed me around $50, while Creed Aventus costs more than $300 for a very small bottle. Would definitely recommend getting the clone.
I have both Aventus and club de nuit limited edition I got to say it most bad. Well it doesn’t smell terrible but it’s most like a very cheap version of aventus I would suggest people save their money and get aventus at a discounter.
I've heard many things about Aventus vs CDNIM, like how the Aventus just smells slightly smoother and a little more natural than the CDNIM, but never have I heard that CDNIM is so weak that you can't even pick up the smell on a test strip, even if you tried so hard?. Lol I'm although pro Aventus... But this honestly sounds like foul play.
Watched a couple of these videos in a row and that young girl Jae consistently nails her assessments. 5/5 on this and she picked up the Jasmine and the fact that eau sauvage was older in the last video I saw. That Jim guy on the other hand.....
Very wired, I'm using Club De Nuit EDP now, when I spray my wife complains that the opening is way to strong, she can't stand it but the dry down is amazing. I spray at 6 am, going to work, coming back home at almost 8 pm and my wife feels the scent on me after all those hours and from few feet away, Creed Aventus vanishes after around 2-4 hours. For some odd reason in this video Creed was the stronger one, maybe it's only the opening, but if CDNI is already unbearable at the opening,I wonder how strong was the Aventus on that paper.
I actually spray Club De Nuit on my clothes and leave them in the sun for a few hours. I can’t stand the opening, but the warm musky amber base is like a pheromone scent to my sniffer. Stays on clothes for days

Let's face it, the average person isn't going to know which fragrance you have on you, and the average fraghead won't be able to tell if it was a clone unless you presented them with a comparison.
I bought my first cologne today. The lady sprayed like 10 different ones on strips. Slowly I narrowed it down to the last two. I had no idea what was what, in general I have no knowledge about colognes, so I just went by what smelled good. Last two were Bleu de Chanel and Dior Sauvage. I ended up picking the Sauvage. Come to find it's literally the most basic cologne every man uses. I pride myself on having a good nose and being good with smells and tastes so I don't know how to feel about me going straight for the most basic cologne there is. Is it really just that good of a smell or did I maybe recognize it unconsciously and that's why I gravitated towards it?
You are good. I have close to 100 frags in my collection and Sauvage still ranks along my favorites. Both the EDP and Elixir. You'll develop your nose as time goes by.
