- We are back again with another blind reaction video. In this video, we have seven total fragrances for our guests to smell, with one of them being Axe Adrenalin Body Spray. Each guest will go through all seven fragrances and try to pick out the Axe. What do you guys think of this type of content? What other reaction style videos would you like to see on the channel?

The blonde woman in the leather jacket is the only one who knows what she's talking about. She didn't just get Axe right she nailed a bunch of other fragrances. They all assumed Axe, which is ONLY a body spray is going to be overpowering so it's no surprise they picked two powerful men's fragrances like Sauvage and Eros.
You say that but go back a few vids and watch Gab get every single mens cologne correct, 5/5
@@SidSauvage Gab knows her stuff too, but she didn't do well today. Most of them are useless, but yes, Gab is one of the good ones.

Fr I like versace eros. The opening can have a strong smell to it but it doesn't smell cheap to me and after it starts drying down it smells great.
Versace Eros = Axe Apollo. Gives me headaches

Axe has a lot of diff scents. They copy a lot of mainstream fragrances. Axe also has some really good scents. It's just bad quality. Mass like fragrances are similar to body sprays and shower gels.

wonder if each person is remembering the same scent of axe? like one girl could be remembering what phoenix smelled like and one could be remembering what apollo smelled like.
Exactly my thoughts while watching...WHAT IS AXE REALLY? Was there a specific version that is considered as the original Axe in the states? Who knows...For me Axe is Africa, then Inca - not the first ones from 80s.
but all axe has a very distinct smell. im not a fraghead myself so idk what notes im referring to. they all smell a bit deodorant-ish

Stella is definitely as beautiful as she is smart. She always speaks eloquently and uses strong logic to deduce and define things. What a woman!
On top of looking like a Swedish model, she seems very sophisticated, smart, and thoughtful. She seems to got it all together.

@@Mudoh415 G-wagons are made for offroading and they're terrible in any other case. Why on EARTH would any regular, normal person want one?! It's a huge, ugly, gas-guzzling monster with an exorbitant price tag. The MSRP of cheaper(!!!) version of the G-wagon is 140k. That's like 2-3 actually useful cars.

I love that these videos show how peoples opinions of high end and popular fragrances differ greatly. Sometimes we get caught up in what everybody will compliment rather than what we like to wear for ourselves. Great videos!
Great video! Nice to see something fresh that hasn’t been done before. Also, the mix of different people and their perspective it’s so fun to watch
The thing about the Axe line (and any of those body spray lines like Bod) is that they are very top heavy in terms of notes, so spraying a lot of it on will be overwhelming for the first hour or so. Then it burns off quickly and leaves the smell it was intended to be in the first place. Most designer fragrances are like that, too, where the top notes draw you in and then the mid and base can leave an unpleasant impression. I've learned that the hard way and now only buy full bottles if the lingering smell left over on my skin really pleases me.
The blonde who said it might be Axe is the one I was counting in. She has a great nose!

Damn, good point about Axe/Lynx. Spray on too much, and it's overwhelming; spray on just enough, and you have a cheap alternative to a pleasing fragrance.

AXE has really good scents imo, it's all about how much to use. I think people remember axe being strong and potent because teens would over spray for sure.
I also don't think we all think of the same one, for me a teen's axe is Excite, or Apollo cause it's what I used in middle school and high school, but also some colognes remind me of back then because I'd use some of my dads so for me some of Boss' colognes also remind me of teens.
I always got complements on my smell in middle school and high school. I'm in college and while I have colognes like Sauvage, Legend, and Polo red, I use axe dark temptation as a daily and I still sometimes get complements. axe gets a bad rep and I never really got why. I think there are some that have a good scent and if they are used properly like a deodorant and not a cologne is fine as it only really smells when sweat forms.
When you actually shower and don’t overspray, Axe smells better than most colognes $100 or more. Depends on the type though. The Gold line literally smells high end. The original Gold, Gold Temptation, and Gd Citron have gotten me so many compliments it’s not even funny.
Stella has the nose, she should have her own channel. Also they are smelling the drydown which explains why the Axe smelled faint. If they also had the opening I would bet more of them would have been able to pickout the Axe. They are projecting what they think Axe would smell like in the drydown and Axe has no longevity, so no real drydown scent and only Stella had the reasoning that the weakest would be the Axe.

I just love these videos and Stella is the Grand Master every time. She has great taste and can spot quality, and also has a nose for notes, which many dont have. She is always on point and impresses. Jae thinks any men's fragrance with any floral notes is "feminine", which cracks me up. Nice seeing some different and more unique content like this "Axe" video also. Love the channel's content. Always well lit, edited and produced!

This is an interesting study on memory and nostalgia. Great video concept.
The thing with Axe is that it’s actually weaker than colognes and the difference is that people would vastly overspray it, giving that super strong almost gross vibe that they mentioned at the start. Putting it on a piece of paper really changes things, I think if they did the same thing but sprayed each one on a person it would be different
Overspray is an understatement. More like an exterminator fogging a 2000 square foot house.

They at least understood after failing to guess that the reason why they think axe is gonna be a strong/powerful scent all day it's just that people were drenching themselves in it 😂

They expected it to be stronger because Axe IS overpowering when first sprayed - it's all top notes and alcohol which evaporates quickly and gives a more powerful initial blast. Sometimes an EDT initially smells stronger than EDP for this exact reason
Side note but anyone remember TAG body spray?? That stuff was way better than Axe 😂

From the beginning Versace Eros and Axe Dark Temptation smell a lot alike,they both open with a strong mint smell.If you keep smelling them as they start to dry you can tell Eros is a much deeper more complicated expensive fragrance.Axe just smells like butane gas and that's what gives away Axe fragrances they use pressureized butane instead of alcohol which smells totally different.
My 2 faves won, Jim's reactions killed me off as always

Great video. A couple sprays on paper would disguise it, cause guys use a can when using it. I have Versace, & love the smell. Guess I could have saved 💵 & just bought Axe. LOL
Fragrance is so subjective. I remember the first time I smelled kilo, and it reminded me of something, but I couldn’t put my finger on it. Axe or not it left a mark.
Haven’t used axe in years. They do have great scents but i lean toward old spice because the fiji scent is my favorite

I never used the jock spray so it would be a guess for me. The only one I could pick out of a lineup would be Loves Baby Soft.
Axe Dark Temptation would be a very noticeable choice to distinguish. Literally everyone was wearing that stuff in Middle School after P.E. in 08’

I think this threw everyone because it was probably sprayed super light compared to what we all remember it smelling like. People that wear axe drench themselves in it. And thats probably why people thought it was eros, cause that’s mad strong.

this is a brilliant test. you are fleshing out certain opinions youd never get on solo blind smells with prior knowledge of frag category . people are prejudiced by brand knowledge and their smell memories. less so much the smell itself. very revealing . we are so full of it. lol. Anyone could wear anything. great job on exsposing us. lol. Also, its the amount of sprays and technique which can distort an otherwise pleasurable smell experience . is this an argument FOR the "sissy spray" so called?

Not going to lie, the reacters drove me a bit crazy. As most know Axe has a LOT of different fragrances/scent profiles. All the "This doesn't smell like "Axe"" comments were frustrating for me. For me, I doubt I would know by fragrance alone, but could have guessed by performance since they likely didn't blast the strip. I remember wearing mostly Phoenix, Unlimited and Clix (still have a few cans), wouldn't have any idea what Adrenalin smelled like though. (Anyone know when that profile launched? Doesn't look familiar from the logo.)
I have a decent amount of fragrances but I always keep a small can of axe in my car glovebox for the days that I smell a little BO , I’d rather smell like axe than pits😅

Fierce smells high quality and luxury, so no I don't think it would fool them. But Mont Blanc Legend Spirit may fool them since it's like the cheaper clone of fierce

A wide range of scents here ... next time pick fragrances with scent profiles closer to Axe makes it more challenging. Also which Axe is it - saw it in the description but not the video.

at around the axe scent people started saying they couldn't smell much which i think says a lot about the challenge itself, you get noseblind at around your third scent so maybe there was just too many fragrances to be smelling all in one sitting, could be more of a challenge though
The dry down of Axe is basically non-existent. They shouldn’t smell much.
Its crazy how most of them think axe is powerful, its not at all, only in the openings, and if you spray a lot, but after that it becomes a skin scent really quickly (which its supposed to coz its a deodorant)

I sprayed Versace Eros on my wrist today and I got a headache from it. It’s so strong and artificial. Then I realized it smells exactly like Axe Apollo, so I went to RUclips to search for a comparison and here we are. They should make 1:1 testing of Versace Eros vs Axe Apollo.

Everyone loves axe, that's why it is famous.
Ever since I was 22 I've used Axe body spray. I've always sprayed it on my hands and then rubbed it on my wrists, between my arms, neck and side of my belly and used deodorant of course for my armpits.
This day I was wondering if I applied it correctly so I searched it up and got the revelation that people aren't using them anymore. That it has been because of their bad rep
It then struck me that it's been a long time since I've seen new Axe body sprays in grocery stores. Back in the early 2010's they would release 2 new editions a year, but they have had like 1 edition for the last 6 years now. Feels like I've been living under a rock.
It sorta seems you are using it wrong. Thought the bottle said just spray on neck and chest. However they did just make some new fragrances for ax this year
