This is one of my favorite reviews ever. Aventus has gone so far downhill that it must be boycotted. My husband used to use Aventus until he finally but a bottle of CDNIM a couple of years ago and thought it to be a dead ringer for his 2010 Aventus batch. So he decided buying Aventus was just stupid and now he layers the CDNIM with Al Haramain L'Aventure for the whole Aventus vibe and sometimes even Terre D'hermes for an even more classy and unique scent. The results are heavenly.
I personally feel like if you like a scent and don't want to pay an outrageous price for a name then there is nothing wrong with wearing a dupe as long as you don't go trying to pass it off for the real thing. Some of us out there don't really have the budget to afford a $300 dollar by Killian fragrance but can afford a $50 Alexandria fragrance dupe that smells almost 💯 the same.
I've never been more sad than the time i found out that LNDL by YSL has been reformulated. It was literally the best fragrance for me, now it became reaaallyy bad that i get disgusted from and wash the sprays out of me
I have the original formula - its literally just a heavy lavender with a slight spice. No depth, no transitions, no top note, just... a lavender bakery smell. So boring! - You'll find something better. LNDL is almost like what white bread would smell like if it was flavored with lavender.
@@oceansoflorewi you're definitely right. It's linear, non offending, safe fragrance. As a doctor this fragrance gives a feeling of familiarity and reassurance to my patients. They even missed it. Smell wise its actually almost entirely the same. And it never was a good performer just like the one by d&g but people say it was a beast, that’s a myth.
Of all the fragrances I've owned over the years, expensive and cheap, creed, TF, PDM etc; I have never had more compliments than when I was wearing this one. I personally felt the same in that the scent was only close to the skin, but the amount of times people have said I can smell the trail of you down the corridor on this one is insane. The sillage on it is actually a beast!
@@alexjones3261 nice. I’m a 20 year old guy. I’ve heard around that this fragrance can be too masculine and mature for younger adults. Do you think that true when it comes to the club de nuit limited edition? I want to buy it but scared it gonna be too mature smelling for my age
Never would've thought you would review a clone perfume. I'm impressed, Aaron. I think clones help people from an awful situation such as buying a reformulated perfume for a crazy price... :)
Maximum credit to you for reviewing dupes, especially of the houses who wildly overcharge nowadays. Lattafa and Perfume Parlour are worth looking at. I love PP's version of PDM Herod, which is a bit sweeter in the opening and dries down very similar to the Parfums de Marly, which I own and love as well. By the way, Oxytocin is one of my all time favourites! I had an unprompted compliment from the supervisor at the checkout at my Sainsbury's local! x

1:44 "A dupe of Creed Aventus for a quarter of the price." It's far less than a quarter of the price. It's slightly under 1/16 of the price. Thanks about 4 times cheaper than what you said. 100ml of Aventus is $495 USD. CDNIM is an average of $30 USD and even less in places. But you could buy 16 CDIM bottles at $30 and it would be $480 which is still less than one bottle of Aventus. To say it's a quarter of the price would mean CDIM costs $125 USD which is more expensive than a lot of 100ml EDT designer fragrances. Haha.
This fragrance has been amazing on my skin. I feel that I can detect it close to my skin very well but I don’t notice it as much while I go about my day. However, I’m constantly asked what I’m wearing/complimented for upwards of 12 hours after I put it on. I hope they keep the special edition around!
I have a few Creeds, Aventus and Aventus Cologne which I prefer. Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man gets more compliments than Creed it is the cheapest version EDT I also have EDP. I don’t have Limited Edition. I have a few Armaf clones and most are excellent, especially Killan Rose Oud clone, lasts forever. Lovely and interesting presentation by you. 👍
It's probably worth putting "Limited Edition" in the title as it is technically a different fragrance to the original CDNIM, and there are probably people looking for videos on the limited edition specifically as it's widely regarded as the best one in the CDNIM line up.
I am lucky enough to own the LEGENDARY BATCH OF CREED AVENTUS(Z011)the most incredible perfume ever made(in my opinion)that can literally smell"3D"vibes in the air. No one(not even CREED HIMSELF)get closer to the batch afterwards. And then it's gone forever. Now THIS ONE(CDNI) limited edition is the closest you can get to the REAL DEAL✌️
@@blagojmilosevski9547 yes. I have CDNI LIMITED EDITION. AVENTUS Z011 WAS REAL DEAL. TRUE REPRESENTATIVE of LUXURY PERFUME. Did you not review this before Aaron? I always loved when you grabbed the phone and said "can we please stop copying". Sad to see that video with your original thoughts has gone. Please don't be more "agreeable" and remove old videos because your channel has exploded in recent months. Your original cult following loved you for your honesty, whit and zero fear in the face of fragcom veterans. You were the Simon Cowell of fragrance reviewers 😅 I'm hoping you only archived the old video so you can bring it back. After all, it was on the EDT & this is the LE Parfum so wouldn't be too counterintuitive to have both despite the opinions in them being polar opposites. Please don't change the way you review because you're bigger now, the OG's loved how you were before and we remember that old CDNIM video.
I remember that video too. Shame he's seemingly removing controversial videos on popular frags to replace them with positive ones now he's got more subs.
I’ve owned both. CDIM fatigued me after awhile, always missed the juicy pineapple open and the musky dry down of Aventus. CDIM doesn’t have the same addictiveness 🤷🏽♂️
That's the type of clone I deeply respect because it delivers what the original one is supposed to deliver while ripping off customers. I'm not even sure if we can call these types of fragrances "clone" when the original one is either reformulated or discounted.
In my review, i stated a controversial opinion that this was closest to the original formulation of Aventus 😆 It was really nice seeing this review from someone i can trust, who knows fragrances very well. Also, it was very nice seeing you go way more in depth than me, haha. I'm very excited to see your video comparing aventus formulations!
I still have a K01 batch that i bought in the launch year of Aventus. Smells quite different to current batches. Definitely more smokey stuff back then. I still have a 2012 and 2017 batches and some is more fruity and very strong on pineapple and some is a even blend but poor longevity.
Nice review. I have Aventus and have owned the CdNIM. Sold the Armaf. It was good, but it's simply not Aventus. Thumbs down to all of the Creed "haters". Aventus is one of the greatest scents ever created.
The EDT is super loud like the original Aventus. The EDP is smoother and more subdued. I owned Aventus a few weeks ago, hated the new formulation enough to resell the bottle and then a friend gifted me the CDNIM gift set for v-day.
"7 out of 10....ok I'm givint it 8 out of 10. Ok maybe 9 out of 10. Ok...this is my new signature fragrance" ....pretty much CDNIM relationship in nutshell with everyone who give it a try xD For the price...the difference with Creed is like miniscule...would never pay such price for WATER!! Armaf is king
Im gonna go against the common consensus (which as always, likes bashing on something popular just because it’s popular) and say that the latest batch of Aventus actually garners an insane amount of compliments from complete strangers - and unlike the parrot haters, I say this with very very recent personal experiences in mind… no other frag in my collection has ever done what Aventus does for me, and the harsh truth is that even the currenr blend is absolutely perfect in harmonizing smokiness with a clean, musky finish - at least to my nose… On the contrary, all clones Ive tried, while obviously a better value for money per ml, do come off synthetic, abrasive and harsh, and obviously lack some (or many) of the noticeable quirks that make Aventus what it is (ie, Explorer lacking the smokiness of birch which I adore in Aventus).
Armaf is making a statement to the companies that are reformulating. I would spend my money gladly with Armaf over Creed nowadays. For the most part ATH is going to be the only house you can really trust with quality formulations to your fragrance.
I just ordered 210ml of this after watching your review. Aventus is so far my favorite fragrance, but the performance does not give any value for the price. I probably won't be buying Creed again because of the unreasonable price. If this lets me enjoy the scent again for $50 then I'm all for it
AARON please help me, im really curious if you think these armaf fragrances smell super chemically. Ive been really considering selling my products because they feel like air freshener chemicals and give me a headache and cause my sinuses to act up I mean, do you think armaf is using the same aromachemicals as expensive brands? Or are they using some fake synthetic chemicals to replicate the scents?
It’s the most complimented fragrance I’ve ever worn and the cheapest. The limited edition really suits my skin . I’ve always struggled to find the right fragrance for myself . This one does just that and at a fraction of the cost of my previous buys . These Saudi houses are really starting to make their mark . I’ll always ask someone wearing a fragrance I like , what it is ? Many recently have been from Middle Eastern fragrance houses .
@@gunersozen905 I’ve had loads of batches and all been the same. Had around 6 bottles since its release . You will need it to macerate for a few weeks to get the best out of it .
First of all, thank you! To get a dupe review from you is a big deal to me, personally, because I have a good mixture of dupes and original perfumes. My small collection has to fit into my budget and your specialty of chemistry background and creator of a perfume house creates a unique environment for reviews. Fantastic Review!!
I have a bottle of Amouage Reflection 45 that cost $500 and it hasn't gotten me anywhere near the compliments this $35 bottle has. Lol. If you buy on Amazon you can pick the notes I got the Vanilla Lemon Pineapple
i had on the limited edition friday at work by 10.o'clock i could not smell it . any way at 4 o'clock i walked around the office and one lady said ooh you smell amazing as she must have got it from my scent trail and she asked what is that and i told her club de nuit intense limited edition it's a copy of one of the most popular men's fragrance ever created ¯\_(ツ)_/¯♥
somebody tell me if Limited Edition is better than the original one? according to the reviews on fragnatica and parfumo platforms, LE seems to be a lot better than EDP, EDT or even Parfum versions.
I've tested the edp, edt, and parfum versions and they're all virtually the same. If people are claiming a difference between the 3 it's either a delusion or they genuinely have differences and ARMAF has production errors. Because I do not get difference with my 3
I've had three bottles of aventus, and each successive one would be weaker than the one before, up to the last one, where it lasted about 1 to 2 hours, and that's it, then I got the armaf parfum one, and its far superior to how aventus is now, it's longer lasting and smells great, and for the money you can't argue, won't be buying the Creed one again.
The "dupe" companies aren't going away anytime soon, so I applaud you for giving a honest review. It's ok to be torn, but if you are a snob, like many are, you will be left behind. Armaf, Rasasi, Lattafa, etc are growing and Creed is dying
Ok, so this is the Limited Edition. I’ll have to try it. I bought the CFNIM edt because I heard so many great things about it. Then when I sprayed it, it was pretty bad. It smelled like lemon cleaner and it gave me a headache every time I tried it. I actually returned it. Then again, I tried Aventus after I tried CDNIM EDT cause I was told it was one of the best scents is the world and i actually hated it too. Wouldn’t have bought it either. I don’t know what it is about that scent dna but it’s so tricky to me.
They smell the same. Its a pinapple scent and people say it smells like pinesol but the same can be said about the OG. Its just people following whatever the haters say and then it creates a bias.
@@Alexsignal90 I didn’t come into CDNIM being a hater at all. I really wanted to like it and actually bought it but it was just too harsh for me. As far as Aventus, it just didn’t work for me. Maybe I’m just sensitive to this type of scent. I’m going to try the limited edition that Aaron reviewed here and see how it works for me. I really love Montblanc explorer but I really wish it could last a bit longer. The smell of Explorer is the best smelling to me in this dna
I purchased a bottle from Amazon that had practically no scent after about a month a scent had developed, nothing to brag about, maybe after a few months it'll be better.

Personally I do like the smell of Creed Aventus but it is over priced and pretentious. I think Club De Nuit is what Creed Aventus should be, it’s the perfect price and it has none of the pretentious nonsense.
I have never smelled the old Creed batches. but I have smelled current samples of creed .and sampled Creed cologne from the bottle. I'm not a hater but the samples was a waste of cash .very basic scent and zero projection lasting 1hour.
When I first smelled Aventus which was around 2015 & I believe it was a 2014/2015 batch I’d heard about it pineapple all that I was like “that sounds interesting & ladies love it? I should try this” 😂 ordered a sample from somewhere - I was blown away. Absolutely stunning. The pineapple was fucking next level. Each batch each year as it goes on it gets weaker and weaker and less impressive. It really does. I haven’t tried the limited edition Armaf but the EDT & EDP ARE good. Not really natural smelling but there’s so many clones out there fhat it’s likely anybody can find a clone they like that can replace a $400-$500 fragrance which gets worse and worse constantly

And they definitely don't smell like the new formulation of creed.
Aventus batches have varied so much over its lifetime. Some of the earlier batches were really fruity and pineapple heavy, while others were really smoky. The first time I tried it was in 2012 and it was a pure smoke bomb but I couldn't remember which batch it was and even ones during the same year would have slight variations. The holy grail batches are those that were made prior to 2015 in my opinion, or at least when they still used non-IFRA compliant oakmoss. The best batch I've tried is 15U01. It was the perfect balance between fruity pineapple and smoky birch tar and leather and was a beast in terms of performance.

Ps: in my culture, i think we have a different ingredients of bread because people couldn't relate to it.
@@oceansoflorewi sometimes linear fragrances are exactly what someone wants. Safe and familiar as the OP said isn't always bad.

And the working class 😂
Could you please review CLUB DE NUIT UNTOLD ?
Maximum credit to you for reviewing dupes, especially of the houses who wildly overcharge nowadays. Lattafa and Perfume Parlour are worth looking at. I love PP's version of PDM Herod, which is a bit sweeter in the opening and dries down very similar to the Parfums de Marly, which I own and love as well. By the way, Oxytocin is one of my all time favourites! I had an unprompted compliment from the supervisor at the checkout at my Sainsbury's local! x
It seems like nobody here really remember that you do already reviewed this one a while ago and gave it a hate because it was boring for you
Now it seems like you deleted and old review and created new one , what for me seems at least strange - especially when you are not clear about it . I like you Aaron and I think you are a more than a fresh breeze amongs other reviewers .
CDNI M from Armaf I recieved as a giveaway from a fellow perfume reviewer MArco 4 you PErfumes , and I like it very much, I even bought it to my father cause I ve seen EDT for crazy post xmass clearence sale 7eur, when normally it sits around 30. My collection is around 100 so I do not use it that often , but I thinks it belongs to the best 10. 😀
Haha.
Truth! I thought the exact same thing! 👏
A review we didn't know we needed from you.
I'm glad you made this review. Hopefully the hate will stop 😅
This fragrance has been amazing on my skin. I feel that I can detect it close to my skin very well but I don’t notice it as much while I go about my day. However, I’m constantly asked what I’m wearing/complimented for upwards of 12 hours after I put it on. I hope they keep the special edition around!
Thanks for your great review as always Aaron. Is this the Eau de Toilette or Eau de Parfum?
I have a few Creeds, Aventus and Aventus Cologne which I prefer.
Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man gets more compliments than Creed it is the cheapest version EDT I also have EDP.
I don’t have Limited Edition.
I have a few Armaf clones and most are excellent, especially Killan Rose Oud clone, lasts forever.
Lovely and interesting presentation by you. 👍
Dude I just found your channel and it’s so damn good. I love the passion you have for your art. Please keep reviews coming for a long long time.
Do u have the cdnim le and is it smoky as the 2011 aventus?
@@blagojmilosevski9547 yes.
I have CDNI LIMITED EDITION.
AVENTUS Z011 WAS REAL DEAL.
TRUE REPRESENTATIVE of LUXURY PERFUME.
CDNI IS GOOD but nothing can replace the real ingredients used in luxury perfumes I mean REAL JASMINE ABSOLUTE I 30K POUNDS PER KILO how can you replace it with synthetic alternative????
smoke is not the only thing in AVENTUS back then✌️
I’m glad you did the limited edition because it’s the best version. Unfortunately most people buy the standard one which is very harsh in the beginning. The standard version is half the price of this one though
You were the Simon Cowell of fragrance reviewers 😅
I'm hoping you only archived the old video so you can bring it back.
I believe the Club De Nuit Aaron has reviewed is the Limited Edition judging by the presentation which is widely agreed to the best version.
The edt is the real clone this parfume versions is kindoff like the elixir from sauvage. It’s very different
ARMAF CdN last forever on me
In my review, i stated a controversial opinion that this was closest to the original formulation of Aventus 😆 It was really nice seeing this review from someone i can trust, who knows fragrances very well. Also, it was very nice seeing you go way more in depth than me, haha. I'm very excited to see your video comparing aventus formulations!

@@AbdulAzizAlkendi which fragrance? The CDNIM LE came out in 2021 i believe

@AbdulAzizGamer2 can't speak directly to that formulation. CDNIM LE is like a more smokey fruity batch.
Support the small businesses and support Arron. The big companies charge big money and give us less. Small companies charge less and give your more.
Nothing will ever beat the first batches of aventus. I miss those days 😢
I still have a K01 batch that i bought in the launch year of Aventus. Smells quite different to current batches. Definitely more smokey stuff back then. I still have a 2012 and 2017 batches and some is more fruity and very strong on pineapple and some is a even blend but poor longevity.

Thank you for your review. A lot of people are perfume snobs and forget to be objective. 👍well done.
I owned Aventus a few weeks ago, hated the new formulation enough to resell the bottle and then a friend gifted me the CDNIM gift set for v-day.
did he ever do the aventus comparison like he claimed he will with old and new bottles?
"7 out of 10....ok I'm givint it 8 out of 10. Ok maybe 9 out of 10. Ok...this is my new signature fragrance" ....pretty much CDNIM relationship in nutshell with everyone who give it a try xD
For the price...the difference with Creed is like miniscule...would never pay such price for WATER!! Armaf is king
Im gonna go against the common consensus (which as always, likes bashing on something popular just because it’s popular) and say that the latest batch of Aventus actually garners an insane amount of compliments from complete strangers - and unlike the parrot haters, I say this with very very recent personal experiences in mind… no other frag in my collection has ever done what Aventus does for me, and the harsh truth is that even the currenr blend is absolutely perfect in harmonizing smokiness with a clean, musky finish - at least to my nose…
On the contrary, all clones Ive tried, while obviously a better value for money per ml, do come off synthetic, abrasive and harsh, and obviously lack some (or many) of the noticeable quirks that make Aventus what it is (ie, Explorer lacking the smokiness of birch which I adore in Aventus).
Armaf is making a statement to the companies that are reformulating. I would spend my money gladly with Armaf over Creed nowadays. For the most part ATH is going to be the only house you can really trust with quality formulations to your fragrance.
I’ve seen reviews of CDNIM for YEARS and never bought a bottle. THIS was the review that did it for me. I’m buying!

I just ordered 210ml of this after watching your review. Aventus is so far my favorite fragrance, but the performance does not give any value for the price. I probably won't be buying Creed again because of the unreasonable price. If this lets me enjoy the scent again for $50 then I'm all for it
this stuff hardly washes off… it gave me a confident boost actually because of that, KNOWING that you smell good.
AARON please help me, im really curious if you think these armaf fragrances smell super chemically. Ive been really considering selling my products because they feel like air freshener chemicals and give me a headache and cause my sinuses to act up
I mean, do you think armaf is using the same aromachemicals as expensive brands? Or are they using some fake synthetic chemicals to replicate the scents?
It’s the most complimented fragrance I’ve ever worn and the cheapest. The limited edition really suits my skin . I’ve always struggled to find the right fragrance for myself . This one does just that and at a fraction of the cost of my previous buys . These Saudi houses are really starting to make their mark . I’ll always ask someone wearing a fragrance I like , what it is ? Many recently have been from Middle Eastern fragrance houses .

First of all, thank you! To get a dupe review from you is a big deal to me, personally, because I have a good mixture of dupes and original perfumes. Just stumbled upon your channel. Absolutely fascinating. Hope you doing well
somebody tell me if Limited Edition is better than the original one? according to the reviews on fragnatica and parfumo platforms, LE seems to be a lot better than EDP, EDT or even Parfum versions.
CDNIM does NOT smell like Aventus
You are soo correct new Creed sucks 1 hour skin scent and zero projection and this is off 2 dif samples and spraying from the bottle I was shocked.
Let's be blunt, It is better than Creed Aventus!

It is very nice perfume special it is sort of smoky which i love ,and it is not too much expnesive.👍
I just bought a bottle. It showed up and I put some on. I can't smell anything....
I get the same probably about a hour projection and with creed I only buy samples from a samples company it’s too expensive to buy a full bottle.
I trust Aaron’s opinion 100%! Great content as always!

So what about club de nuit limited
