Listened to this entire video while working on a creative project and you are very underrated and should have millions of subs. Thank you young man for your work.
Wow, just... wow. This is surely one of the most important RUclips videos I've ever watched. It challenged many of my preconceptions and I felt like it was speaking directly to my worries about money, careerism etc. Please continue making content like this, I've never felt so enthusiastic about life on my train journey to work!
Of all the self-help and motivational books I've read and videos I've listened to, your content is consistently the most profound. This is what we need to be teaching the next generations
this might possibly be one of the greatest and most brilliant videos i have ever seen from someone as small as you... i salute you and hope that you... and everyone else who has seen this achieves true freedom
The "life is a canvas" metaphor really hit hard. I can't even begin to describe how this video really changed my view on life. Thank you for sharing your perspective, and I hope this video reaches the masses out there who need to hear this!
55:24 this whole section is really good. one thing i like about practicing judaism is celebrating shabbat, where every Saturday i have a day of rest. i dont work, i dont cook, i dont clean, and (most importantly) i dont use technology. it's like a little reset for me, and i look forward to every single Saturday
This video is so miraculously beautiful. it’s so nice to know people have these thoughts like I do but you’ve become much more skilled in articulating those thoughts and bringing change to people, and i think that’s the next step in my life from what i have learned over the years so that I become the difference i have sought to be, and I hope to meet more people like you or some of those watching someday
thank you for living and creating this video 😭😭😭😭😭😭 it's so eye-opening that i can't even put it into words. i literally finished this video with a whole new appreciation for life.... tysm for sharing your wisdom!!!!!!
Excellent video. I also like the fact that this channel is also the embodiment of the things you say, providing (good) value to people at scale. With content that usually doesn’t generate a looot of clicks such as this one. But I hope you know that stuff like this is what young people need to actually hear. I’m for it and here for the journey.
Ive watched 2 of your videos so far and so far it makes me more productive i finally drew because i wanted to. Thank you. I wish you did spotify podcast or something id eat that up and im sure others would too, youre great man
Hey 👋 Found your "This video is about brainrot" probably around a month ago. I was, and am deep in the throws of this kind of thinking. Been changing more throughout this year than Ive ever really been able to. Listening to your thoughts in this and every other video of yours I've watched genuinely feels like hearing secret recordings someone took of me talking to myself in the mirror and walking around my room in a circle. I don't really know where I'm going with this but, just know your words mean something. Oh and your bonus little ending prelude, to think, is seriously important. Being conscious of what I'm doing, why I'm doing, it really is such a powerful tool we kinda just don't use much. Its one of my greatest allies in the trudge of weaning the brain out of society holes. Lmao idk wtf im sayin anymore, feeling all inspired and stuff so im yappin. Well, point is loved the video, I wish you well, hope to hear more from you, and it only took 20 years to really start changing I suppose, lol. Better than 40.
It's not possible to just work and be rich. It's mostly luck and knowing the right people and being in the right place at the right time. It's like winning the lottery, but the odds are probably better. But still hard work does NOT equal money or success. And 20% of small businesses fail within 2 years. I love that you are young and have that eager spirit. I hope it works out for you.
Who's going to be the one to get lucky, the person who put in the hard work, or someone like you who claims it's all luck and never begins actually trying
Genuinely one of the most meaningful videos I’ve ever watched to the point that I was actively taking notes. I am currently a med student with over a decade of studies ahead of me and have always sworn off the business model of earning money since it fills me with dread and discontentment. Nevertheless it was incredibly interesting to hear your take on financial freedom and has helped me to come to terms with the sacrifice of time and thus freedom I’m making. I think it’s okay to make such a compromise especially to avoid doing something you don’t like. As you said it’s the right thing to do as long as YOU want it. I hope others will be able to appreciate your advice and apply it to themselves as I have. Keep doing what you’re doing :))
you have a kid dreams, you believe things without any basis, you're really thinking like a kid who's feeling bored and imagining his life without really knowing what life is.
One of the best ways to stay off your phones is to just go outside. If you put down your phone and try doing something else like reading or working on a project you can still just easily go back to your phone. But if you go outside without your phone it removes the burden of self control. All you have to do is just walk, look at your surroundings, and maybe think about shit. And by go outside this doesnt mean you have to go out somewher like a restaurant or something, you could just take a walk around your neighborhood for free and its 90x better for you than just scrolling on your phone. And when you get back its easier to focus on something and not get distracted since you had that break from social media, plus being outside and getting exercise is just better for you and better for focusing. I'ma post this on the video about brainrot as well since its more relevant there
watched till the end. even though some or most are AI generated I noticed your affinity to pastel paintings....like a lot! Might be you like drawing over cars maybe...enlightening video!
Not super encouraging tbh lol. I just got that financially, we are all fucked unless we’re lucky enough to get rich quick apparently? I apologize if I’m not getting what you’re putting down but I don’t think many ppl think about “financial freedom” because they know it’s unrealistic. Millions of people become entrepreneurs and try to start businesses and almost all of them fail one way or another. Plus you have to be rather cut throat to be a successful businessman/entrepreneur. I personally wouldn’t be willing to lower my morals to make money.
do you watch healthygamergg? he makes great videos deep diving on a lot of topics you do. he gives some great advice and some of his interviews are super insightful. the inspiration for the channel was his own struggle with video game addiction. failed out of college and became a monk. just found your channel recently since my algorithm is luckily giving me good, useful content right now. i'm getting tired of social media use and have been considering getting a flip phone. make my decisions on my own accord, learn things by my own discoveries. thanks for being so open with these videos. i'm sure it feels good to make something great! much love
