@@CarCraftAutoDetailing your final words, I believe, are what I was meant to watch this video for. The individuals truly believe certain things are or are not happening in their mind’s own scenarios, and they will stick to that to their dying breath, even though it’s completely opposite most of the time. The anger and cruelty that they can express toward the loved ones that are trying to take care of them is the most painful part because we are reaching out with hope and love so that they might be comfortable and often times they simply return the sentiments with insults or anger or even sometimes hitting. Hi Sandro, as always, exquisite finish, exquisitely filmed. Being very picky, it would have been nice to have the products used shown either in the top banner or mentioned in your narrative.
That engine bay fascinated me the most ! I must try at least to do something like that ... I know it's not gonna be anywhere close but I don't mind the learning curve ...
Engine bays are always one of my most satisfying areas to detail - maybe also give this video a watch as it goes more in-depth on engine cleaning: ruclips.net/video/CHdSr61yJPk/видео.htmlsi=qJTwOmG46yjKGsvU
I have a couple of older GoPros but I would actually get the new Dji Osmo action 4 if I was getting one today with a head strap and few other accessories for filming. I’m a Mac user so would recommend just using the free iMovie to edit, it’s actually quite good - not sure what the PC equivalent would be.
@CarCraftAutoDetailing thank you!!! You're the best. I will purchase the Dii Osmo Action 4 this week and find the Windiws equivalent to iMovie. Again, thank you sir!
Have you ever had a weird Grey effect after wiping down with eraser or IPA. Not the swirls or haze showing up better but almost like something was left behind. Had it happen and wasn't sure what it was from. Thought I'd pick your brain.
Not sure about the ‘grey effect’ you’ve had, but I’ve had IPA solutions sometimes mar soft/sensitive paints which can look like patchiness and inconsistency in the finish - diluting the IPA further and/or spraying it directly to cloths rather than directly on the paint can help eliminate the issue.
The Ero600 G2 seems like an amazing no frills polisher that will take down giants - it’s a pocket rocket, very torquey and capable, bit noisy - really liking it
Hello. Can I ask you a few questions? Being very good at detailing, could you give me some tips? For example, a car that has a lot of scratches, marks and corrections, what is the best thing to do? Also on a car that is 2020-2024 with light and minor scratches? I am interested in the most important thing to know about polishing. I watched a lot of your videos, but I want you to tell me how, what and how. I know my questions are not easy to answer but please help me as I started last week I am 15 years old and I am really obsessed and want to learn everything about detailing and from the best.I really like it and really appreciate how much work you put into not only the cars but also the video processing, because this gram is not an easy job. The videos are perfect everywhere, nothing I can say, just perfect.Good regards 😊
Car paint with severe defects will tend to require a heavy compounding stage typically using a wool or microfibre fibre pad - if it’s a soft paint it could be a foam cutting pad - with a coarse cutting compound - again if the paint is very soft that could be a medium compound. After the cutting stage you would then finish with a foam finishing or polishing pad - if the paint is hard that could also be an intermediate foam pad - and a finer polish- again on harder paints that could be a medium or one step compound. Car paint that has only minor defects will tend to only require a single stage of polishing - on harder paints that could be a one step with a medium compound and pad, on softer paints that could be a softer foam pad and fine polish. There’s more to it like measuring paint, sometimes sanding, all the vital prep work, paint correction technique and methods that I simply can’t answer here in this format- that’s why I make the videos to both explain, shown and give tips, and if you keep on watching detailing videos and then keep on practicing you will get there my young friend - best wishes Sandro.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailingThank you very much for everything you told me above. I really appreciate it. I'm amazed at how good you are. But I want to ask you one more thing. What products do you usually use? What machines do you usually use as I'm new and what would you recommend? I would really appreciate it if you could help me. I'm just 15 goffins, I'm super keen, I watch some videos, but I would only trust a specialist like you.
I’ll give you a link to the first video in a 4 part series I did on my favourite detailing products and tools - that is the gear I use and recommend personally: ruclips.net/video/TaIeHl9WFVI/видео.htmlsi=K66z_eBPsZ8_lhPT

Late to the party to watch this one as I had fallen behind in some of my subscriptions after a busy couple months. All I can say is, wow, what a result. That is stunning mate. The attention to detail you display is unbelievable. Can I ask a question. When you are levelling your coatings, how many towels would you roughly go through and what sort of towels are you using ? Is it best to dispose of these after?
Really glad you enjoyed this one! I’ll typically use about 6-8 towels per layer of coating and they will be low pile, low linting cloths that I do dispose of.
What chemical did you use in the tornador for cleaning the engine bay? Same for when you used the brush to scurb those last few areas, Did you use the MV Snow foam + for the alkaline prewash? Just a fyi, some of the links you posted are not for the product that you list. Ex the Shinemate EB210, is the same link for the shinemate Ex605 that you have listed. So it's just a duplicate. Speaking off how has the EB210 been.performing? I am looking at purching one as a "1-3" inch Polishing tool. This is one of my favorite Lexus vehicles and you did a FANTASTIC JOB!!!
Thanks and fixed the EB210 link - it’s an amazing machine and my No.1 mini polisher of all time. Shine Supply WiseGuy 1:10 was used in the Tornador and Shine Supply Solution (neat) was used with the brushes, and yes Nv Snow+ was the pre-wash.
@CarCraftAutoDetailing Good to hear about the EB210. I was actually going to purchase UT after it came out but decided to wait and glad I did. There where many.issues with some of the backing plates falling or flying if the machine had " they fixed the issue, of course." I like the fact that you can even do sanding with this unit. As well as the differnt attachementd etc! I have to day again, but I really do love this Lexus V8, one of my most favorite touring sports cars that Lexus has made. That V8 sounds so beautiful! Great job again, Sandro! Thanks again for the info!
What a peaceful video. I just saw your review about Carpro Lite ceremic coating that you posted 5 years ago. What is your thought about it? Do you still like it? Have you used it with Gliss as a topper?
Thanks and yes I still believe CQLite is an unbelievably value oriented coating that is easy to apply and performs so well - I’ve not tried it with Gliss on top.
Excellence as usual, Sandro! Let me ask you this: I've tested and liked, instead of using IPA after drying the car, I do the last cleaning stage with a soft degreaser - citron vonixx - and honestly had superb results, what do you think about it?
Thanks but I don’t quite understand why you’d go back to cleaning with a degreasing soap after the car has been cleaned and dried - this would be best done during the wash/decon stage. An IPA (isopropyl alcohol) panel wipe is quite unique in that, apart from cleaning and drying, it’s just about the only cleaner that doesn’t leave its own residue behind, which makes it the best final wipe down product - every other detergent/chemical leaves residue. The goal should be to have the paint/trims as clean, dry and bare as possible after a decontamination process.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Oh! no, it's used before the drying stage, but I see your point, indeed, the IPA leaves the paint completely bare, thanks again for the quick response, you're amazing.
Hey mate, I love watching you. and what you do for us Australia's 😉 it's great to see you testing products and stuff that would cost us Australia's way too much to ship . Because of your videos, I am going to buy a few nv products. And I have a cheap ozito pressure washer to start me off . But im not sure what fitting it is? There is so many different hose fittings 😅 its a quick connect of the front it's not a thred?
Give the guys at waxit.com.au call or email, they’ve been cataloging the fitments for most local pressures washes, so hopefully they can advise what exact fitments you’ll need.
Bloody oth SANDRO you have done it again! Love some Japanese V8 and these sound so good. Did you clean under the engine cover and have you had a chance to up grade your ride on mower headlights, Cheers bro.
Love your videos Sandro, been following and watching them since 2020. Are you able to give some advice/info on correcting the headlights and rear lights lightly like you did in this video, please? Does this remove or reduce their factory UV protection at all? Does anything need to be done to make up for that? Thanks!
Thanks mate, and just approach the lights the same as you would car paint/clear coat - some have harder and some have softer clear coat - so just use the lightest combination that removes the light defects and restores gloss and clarity. Applying a couple layers of a ceramic coating once you’re done can also be a good way to go.

@@CarCraftAutoDetailing enjoy your time off! It’s summer here so I’m outside in the driveway trying to my best Sandro impersonation on the neighborhood cars.
Hey Sandro, I bought a small bottle of the GForce glass coating. Haven't tried it yet Do you know how this performs in comparison to NV Glass, as far as approx speed required to start seeing water leaving the glass? Also, could you keep the coating going much longer by using carpro clarify ph2obic as a topper every wash? Thanks
I’m not sure of the specific water contact angles of both coatings, but they are both very good in that area. The car speed in which the water runs up the glass is always different on every car I own - that’s the added variable of the car’s aerodynamics. Yes, I think ph2obic is a great way to maintain GForce, maybe used once a month or every couple months depending on how much use the car gets and if it’s the wet or dry season.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailingthanks for the reply Sandro. Good point about aerodynamics. Some products say youll get water dispersing around 40kmh some say over 60kmh. Just looking for something that will help at lower speeds as most driving around melbourne is probably 60 or lower unless on the freeways. Ill give GForce a go and see how it performs. I had a bit of left over ceramic coating that i applied to my windscreen recently. It works well at 80kmh but doesnt do much under this other than beading. Cheers
Hey Sandro. Is there a reason you used the ERO600 G2 with the 9mm orbit vs the EX620 in this detail? I'll likely be buying the ex620 as my first polisher soon, but this it the first I've seen of the ero600.
No particular reason, just been testing out the new ERO600 G2 and decided to use it on that job. The EX620s are still superior machines but the new ERO is a gem that can certainly do the job.
Great video, as always, Sandro, your so good at what you do. Set tge bar high as always 💙 have a had the chance to try out the labocosmetica products as yet?
G force has been getting so much stick everytime I mention it on a video so many comments of hate towards carpro kills me being honest but I'm still using it and loving it no bonding issues great durability or am I the 1% getting a good bottle and everyone else must be duds ?? What we saying sandro ??
It depends. I used to wash after paint correction in my early days mainly because I was more messy. But these days I work very clean and perform IPA wipe down before, during and after paint correction which leaves me no reason to wash - which if you can do without also helps avoid new washing and drying swirls and water retention. But if paint correction has left behind lots of residue and mess, then I would recommend washing 🙂
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing absolutely no prob Sir… not watched much detailing stuff anymore but appreciate following your journey . Incredible how far you come on .
Hi Sandro. Just took delivery of a new Subaru Crosstrek, about to give it a coating of CQ quartz UK,I believe two coats are optimal. What is the time frame between the two coats?
Congrats! Typically I find 90mins to 2hrs is the general sweet spot but if the weather is cooler you can wait 2-3hrs and if it’s hot you can go the opposite and try and start that 2nd layer between 60-90mins.
Do you think is difficult to start your own detailing business? I know it depends on many factors but if you could answer with a yes or no what would be the answer? Do you think a regular car wash shop is more profit than detailing shop or just depends on what your customer base will be?
Starting a detailing business isn’t hard, but growing it, being financially profitable and maintaining that success is hard for any small business. But if you have the right mindset, work ethic and dive, running your own business can be one of the most satisfying, liberating and rewarding things you can do- it’s just different when you’re working for yourself rather than someone else. Maybe check out this this video if you want more advice: ruclips.net/video/LOuKCiht4Nc/видео.htmlsi=xvwVFKKG-zbXtnbT As far as car wash vs detailing shop it really does depend. A successful car wash shop needs a great location with lots of drive in traffic as people won’t go out of their way to come to you, so it has to be easy, convenient and quick - which also requires great staff, equipment and customer waiting care. A detail shop on the other hand is where customers will travel to you if they feel you provide great service, results and value.
Hey again Sandro, quick question for you. Being a Shinemate aficionado, do you ever change the grease in your polishers? Ive just bought an ex620 15mm and Ive seen videos on various detailing channels where they recommend swapping out the factory grease for a better quality lithium grease (not just in shinemate brand) , which supposedly will reduce noise and give better longevity to the machine. Thoughts on this please mate
Having that very question put to Shine Mate themselves, they strongly discourage that practice. The grease they use is a high quality long life specific grease to the machines and also applied in a dust/debris free facility. Additionally, I’ve put over a thousand hours on some of their machines, never changing it with zero issues. So my advice would be, don’t try and fix a problem that doesn’t exist 🙂
@@CarCraftAutoDetailingwow ok thanks mate. I was looking for reviews on it and found one by Brian Spitler at Apex Auto Detail where he strips the 620 down and changes the grease. Yvan Lacroix does it too but on a different brand. I have an Apex Customs Sensei Plus which I've been using for 2 years, haven't changed any grease and it's still going fine. I bought the 620 today from you know where, because the Backing plate on mine apex machine isn't holding pads very well and I can't get a replacement backing plate. Thanks again for your help.
Hey mate, further to my previous query regarding changing grease in the polishers, i received my EX620 machine yesterday and had a read through the manual. Under maintenance section it mentions "every 6 months or 200-300 hours of operation, the gearbox of the machine needs to be filled with lubricant. It is recommended to use Mobil EP1 lithium grease".
Hi sandro, have you ever heard or tried modesta coatings? I've seen several detailer in my city offering them and they are really expensive (the flagship one is 3 times as expensive as carpro finest), i'm really curious about this brand but can't find any good review video of it. Loving your videos man, from detailing vlogs to product reviews. God bless!
Thanks and yes, I do know of Modesta coatings, they have been around for a while. I believe I did test one of their coatings many years back, but can’t specifically remember what my results and conclusions where - my best guess would be that I was neither disappointed or blown away. If it helps, they do seem to have a good reputation, and are marketed similar to Kamikaze in being a premium brand, but can’t say whether that price is justified - could be. Beyond that I can’t provide any more substantial or first hand experiences. God bless mate.
Why don’t you foam the car again before doing the handwash? I’ve been learning about detailing and noticed so many different techniques, so I’m genuinely curious. God bless!
You can and I have in the past, but maybe foaming smaller section at a time is ideal as the foam/soap can run off and loose its suds, lubrication and effectiveness when it sits too long - and typically when doing a decontamination wash I do spend a lot more time compared to just a maintenance wash.

Excellent as always Sandro. When I saw the grill I was interested to see how you tackled that as I have a Mark X that I always struggle with 😆
Fantastic 👌👌👌

@petesreef1891 wow fantastic mate, well done and so nice hear that, I’m sure you’ve put so much hard work into it but sounds like it been very rewarding, God Bless.
Beautiful work as always ✅
Thank you mate!
Engine bays are always one of my most satisfying areas to detail - maybe also give this video a watch as it goes more in-depth on engine cleaning:

Your detailing videos are second to none. Can you recommend an action camera and editing software to make detailing videos for a beginner?
I have a couple of older GoPros but I would actually get the new Dji Osmo action 4 if I was getting one today with a head strap and few other accessories for filming. I’m a Mac user so would recommend just using the free iMovie to edit, it’s actually quite good - not sure what the PC equivalent would be.
@CarCraftAutoDetailing thank you!!! You're the best. I will purchase the Dii Osmo Action 4 this week and find the Windiws equivalent to iMovie. Again, thank you sir!
That Lexus is getting the concierge treatment😂. Nice.
Warning ❗️- Genius at work 🤷🏻♂️👌🏼

Better Than Showroom Shape!
Have you tried Shine Supply Hot Shot as a pre-treatment? From my understanding, it has a higher pH compared to NV Nova Snow+
Did you polish and ceramic coat the grill? Amazing works as always
Cinemaramic bro !
🫡 my man! Appreciate yah. That crossed my mind and ended up switching to car pro eraser and new towels. @CarCraftAutoDetailing
Can you give me your review on the Shinemate ERO600?

Same for when you used the brush to scurb those last few areas,
Did you use the MV Snow foam + for the alkaline prewash?
@CarCraftAutoDetailing
Good to hear about the EB210. I was actually going to purchase UT after it came out but decided to wait and glad I did. There where many.issues with some of the backing plates falling or flying if the machine had " they fixed the issue, of course."
I like the fact that you can even do sanding with this unit. As well as the differnt attachementd etc!
I have to day again, but I really do love this Lexus V8, one of my most favorite touring sports cars that Lexus has made. That V8 sounds so beautiful!
Great job again, Sandro!

Damn haha very nice car rcf. U seem to detail every car I think lmao.
Hey Sandro, go grab 2-3 coffees tomorrow.
Thank you so much mate!
It didn’t click to me immediately why you were asking about my coffee drinking habits 🙂
Hola mi estimado
Cuantas horas te lleva el trabajo y cuanto cobras por un servicio así?
Did you clean under the engine cover and have you had a chance to up grade your ride on mower headlights,
Cheers bro.
Hope you enjoyed it mate! Didn’t remove the engine cover and thanks for reminding me about the JD lights - will have a search for them online now 🙂
Love your videos Sandro, been following and watching them since 2020.
Applying a couple layers of a ceramic coating once you’re done can also be a good way to go.
wil you be reviewing the nova evo v2?
Yes would like to do a video review if time allows

@@CarCraftAutoDetailing enjoy your time off! It’s summer here so I’m outside in the driveway trying to my best Sandro impersonation on the neighborhood cars.
Hey Sandro,
I bought a small bottle of the GForce glass coating. Haven't tried it yet
Do you know how this performs in comparison to NV Glass, as far as approx speed required to start seeing water leaving the glass?
Cheers
Hey Sandro. Can u test/review the menzerna CUT FORCE PRO ?
I've used it 2 weeks ago on my dads car. Absolutely stunning product
Great to hear that mate and will at it to my list!
Thanks and yes, I sampled quite a few of the brands products a couple of years ago and found it to be an overall solid lineup.
@CarCraftAutoDetailing my favorite and also I do use quite a bit of the same products that you're using, like NV, Carpro, and a few other
Sandro, what polish did you use on the glass? Was this the S20 Black as well? Thanks again!
Yes it was
Been a few months hopefully everything is going well
All good my friend, will hopefully have a new video soon
G force has been getting so much stick everytime I mention it on a video so many comments of hate towards carpro kills me being honest but I'm still using it and loving it no bonding issues great durability or am I the 1% getting a good bottle and everyone else must be duds ?? What we saying sandro ??
Sandro, can i ask you a question? Should we wash the car after we polish it(car haven't ceramic coating)?

Thanks mate, so greatly appreciate all the love throughout all the years!

Maybe check out this this video if you want more advice: ruclips.net/video/LOuKCiht4Nc/видео.htmlsi=xvwVFKKG-zbXtnbT
As far as car wash vs detailing shop it really does depend.
Is that an upgraded shinemate 12mm polisher? Nice job!
Thanks and it’s a new version 2 of the Shine Mate ERO600 (G2) generation 2.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing oh ok, it's 9mm orbit
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Thanks mate!
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Ok got it, thank you so much ! Btw your videos are amazing quality and very informative, I appreciate the amount of work you put down !
