My dislikes: Reaching for the seatbelt is a hassle because it's so far back Weight = bad fuel economy plus like you said makes it slower In manual mode it has some sort of regulator to prevent over revving between 2nd and 3rd gear and the shifts seem sluggish Backseats makes anyone back there feel claustrophobic And the most annoying thing is the brake dust! Kinda hard to clean the calipers
Sheesh! Great attention to detail! I forgot how annoying the brake dust is 😭. It’s something some ceramic brake pads can fix though! And the back seat! Oh, don’t get me started! I don’t even bother sitting anyone back there unless they really want to! 😂
Did I hear 4,900 lbs? LOL That is off by about 1000 lbs.I think you mean 3900 lbs. BTW, everything these days in this class weighs about that much give or take a 100 lbs. Cheers! LOL
Oh shoot, good catch and great point!!!! I definitely meant to say 3,900lbs, lol! But, Idk, the RCF definitely feels a bit on the hefty side to me, but in comparison to my G37x, they’re actually similar in weight 🤯😮
@@Mr_Odog I think you might want to correct that as haters always say "RCF is so heavy" and would literally take the 4900 lbs as a figure when it weighs about as much as a most cars in the class do. Yeah, RCF is wider and lower center of gravity along with the long hood that create the "illusion" of heft and size especially with those huge tires in the rear. On the race track with wide asphalt when the car is constantly at high speeds, it all makes sense.
@@2ZZGE100 Definitely made a remark about it in the descriptions, but i’ll definitely fully address it in the next upload! Thanks for always supporting, you rock!! 🤟🏾
@@Mr_Odog You are welcome. Always keeping in touch with your channel content. Glad you love the RCF. Oh yeah. forgot the steering. RCF steering programming is "heavy" in SPORT+ (a lot lighter in other modes) that helps on the track in terms of being able really put the front where you want it to go at higher speeds. However, it makes the car feel heavy at slow speeds in smaller roads. Tires are another thing you can look into to create a light-on-feet feel. I went with a much higher load rating PS4S XL tires that are supposed to handle much heavier cars and it made a big difference. Cheers!
@@2ZZGE100 That makes sense! I definitely figured once I get some light weight wheels/tire combo and do some other maintenance work, the car will definitely come alive more!
Yup! Don’t buy msrp or sticker price lol, but in all seriousness these cars are going for the mid 30s (100k+ mileage) to 40-50k (low mileage if you’re looking to spend 50k). I’d definitely say to take a look at some facebook groups and check how much they’re going for and also compare prices on cargurus.
Do these hold well long term? O want one for a weekend car to tour around, i dont race i just like to drive around? Can i hold on to these long term without being a headache for maintainance cost?
I completely agree with all the downsides you stated on the car, but other than that the car is one sexy unit 💪🏼😤
Yessir! It was definitely hard coming up with some of the downsides 😂
I'm surprised u like the infotainment and didn't mention the small screen.
I’m a simple guy 😂! I’m not too concerned with the screen because I use my phone for practically everything. Gps, calls, music, etc

Can’t wait to get one
Is the center console very small?
Can’t wait until you get one also!! The center console is unfortunately small 😭. It’s manageable though as long as you’re not a hoarder 😂

I don’t like the foot e-brake, they should’ve put a electric e brake like the GS
I agree! I forgot to also mention that I don’t like the fact the mirrors don’t automatically fold. For the price of the car, they should fold.
@@Mr_Odogthat sucks, I guess it is a track car haha do it have auto dimming mirrors ?
@@KVIZZZZLE The car definitely has auto dimming mirrors!
More storage space than my ISF LOL. I only have 1 cup holder
Damn, bro! I’m sorry for the struggle lol! That’s insane, especially since it’s a 4 door!
The only storage I got is the girls junk in the trunk 😂
I’m looking to buy an rcf in the near future is there a price where the vehicle just isn’t worth buying?

Thx. Really hoping they drop a bit more before the year ends to make it possible

Yes, 1000%. I’d say the only Maintenance thing will be the Valley Plate leak. That ultimately happens to all F cars, unfortunately.
@@Mr_Odog thanks bro now i just need to find one with low milage in my country.
@@raysrecipe1993 Of course, man! And best of luck!
2019 IS 300 F sport owner here, I feel you on the key storage! Even with 4 doors i feel like there’s no room to place my fat ass lanyard of keys
😂😂 I thought it was only me!! I’ve had a 2012 Lexus IS250 and I felt the same way! I usually just keep my keys in my pocket now a days

What year is this RCF?
2015 🤟🏾💪🏾
That car is 3900 lbs. Still heavy but def not 4900 heavy.
Nice car! Looking to get into one myself
Agreed! Idk why I thought it was damn near 5k lol
