- Hello everyone! My name is Riant. In this video I will show you how to fix problems with your mesh using new method that I combined using my knowledge of blender.
Let’s look at this model. Special for this video I take mesh with more problems, that we change using my method.
1) bad holes in mesh.
2) uncorrected normals
3) inside polygons
4) vertices and polygons that fly in space.
5) terrible topology, that we can't use later
6) double vertices and polygons
As you can see, we have a lot of artefacts with mesh.
How we can change this ?
First of all, use blender 2.81 or more..
Than, select problem object, duplicate him and rename first mesh to "original", second to "changed".
Let's hide original object using "H" key or eye button in outliner. Then, we select duplicated fox face and add remesh modifier with new type of mode "voxel". Change standard value to another number. Don't use value higher than 0.1, because you will lost all details. Use values from 0.06 or 0.099.
For this model I used 0.08 value. Apply modifier.
Fox looked better, but we lost all details. Special for this we use sub surface modifier with lvl 1 for division and add shrinkwrap with "original" model for target. Apply all modifiers. We have better model with all details from original mesh. Go in sculpt mode and smooth back side. in place of holes use smooth brush. Whao! Well done! Reuse two last operation or leave as is.
If you have problem with your project, or model please write in comment and share link at your google disk, we will help you. If you need this model, go in link under description, download and fix it with my video. Thank you for watching! Peace!

This is why I like the blender community better. Some people they just want to help out others. You are great....!
So truw i was looking gor tutorials and things like this o. Zbrush ... Nothing!
This is the ideal solution for 3D printing a character model with lots of internal geometry (You're gonna lose SOME level of detail during the print anyway).
Thank you!
Dope exactly what I needed. Would like to see more!! Thank You!
This is a great tutorial. Very time efficient and yet you show the whole process. Fantastic.
I LOVE YOUUUU I WAS LOOKING FOR FIX FOR FEW HOURS
This tutorial just changed how I work on my projects. Thanks so much!
Best video on this subject. Thanks.
GREAT method. You can also do a low res remesh and then use the Multires modifier + shrinkwrap modifier to get the detail back!
had to re watch it several times since the guy goes thru the options super fast
Great tutorial Rinat :)
Bro i thank you, you made my work much easier👍👍👍👍. Other tutorials videoes dont show you how to fix complex face normals like yours.
Bless you you have saved me so much time!
Don't know how this has so little views but thank you so much! This was really helpful
Хороший совет, спасибо!
Man you saved my entire project.
thank you so much, saved my life
THANK YOU!! GOD BLESS YOU!
Thank you. Might be helpful. I have saved the video for later.
best workflow ever !
nice!
thank you so much!
Bless you
Thank you
Good~!~! Thank You
Helped me with my adildo logo, THANKS!!!
Thank you.
Thank you very much.........
How about spike artifacts in multires? Its been a long bug and never been fixed still exists in 2.91
Genius
One is missing for 3d printing, depending on the print direction, you had to flat the back surface. I'll do it by bisect tool or select all the faces that had to be flat and hit s + z (or the direction it has to go) and 0 (zero)
Accent never gets old. It's like the eastern European version of Face&LMS.
GRACIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS
im creating a guitar on blender, and on the body specially, the shadow its kinda odd, like triangulating, when i see on the side, looks flat, but when i see it on the front the shadow its bad on flat already but on smooth it gets even worst, what can I do to solve the model problems? thanks in advance
I keep having an issue for these vertices will stick out of my sculpture. Idk why. No matter how I try to smooth it out, it comes back when I save it or switch to object mode. How do you fix that?
How do I fill in a hollow shell for 3d printing that is flat on one side just like this video? All I have right now is a shell of a carving.
Hi, I have been encountering issues where my mesh (Lego minifigure's hairpiece) imported from other sources would look jagged as I try to subsurface modifier. I've been looking everywhere for solution but I couldn't find anything useful. Do you happen to know what might be the cause of it or is it really just the problem with my imported models?
can you wrote me and send file pls perfectly3d@gmail.com ?
This is a super helpful tool, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work for removing voids (resin traps) that are "baked in". Sometimes, voids can be removed simply by splitting the object into separate parts and deleting the voids (very satisfying!) but some models have "compartments" inside them that are 3D - _not_ just 2D polygons.
Go into edit mode, select a point on the main mesh, ctrl-L to select linked, ctrl-i to invert and delete any disconnected islands/voids. If the traps are long thin cavities connected to the surface, I haven't yet found a good way to deal with this.
Unfortunately when I try this method it remove large portions of my model.
thankyou so damn much, bet you're handsome irl
Ok and what about the texture after remeshing?
pro
Had to play at 0.25 speed to somehow keep up. Good video, but please for the sake of God slow down bro.
I have an issue with my model can u help me
I need help with my model I've got internal faces but I'm not able to select the internal faces and delete them
if you need help, wrote on email rinat.sahbiev@mail.ru or perfectly3d@gmail.com
i'm stuck at a manadala i used for my project so i needed to bevel the edges when i bevel mesh errors are visible don't understand how to fix that if possible anyone can help?
perfectly3d@gmail.com send me file, I will make video
Hi sir, can u help me....when i did it, my model can't display photo texture
my english so bad, i hope u get it
Hello, it's not a problem, wrote me perfectly3d@gmail.com
Hi! How can I remove this artifact from the model? Could you please help me wit?
@@AzeemTariq-y7j u can write on email perfectly3d@gmail.com
Well i payed for an stl on cults3d and i can ashure every one its imposible to fix and to print i just cant fix it
Send me model, maybe we can find some methods rinat.sahbiev@mail.ru
@@rinatsahbiev1395 ok ill send you an email it says help 3d stl from el fuego.....
2024 here with 4.1. Does this still work?
@@logangoad3982 yep it is
My mesh just disappears I cannot find a value that works for me
Same, did you figure it out?
Bro can you help me😐
brush'Ь - буращЬ 😄
my coumputer frezes when aply remesh modifier
I've not used blender yet but allegedly you can increase performance by doing more subdivides first and then lower the multires modifier amount because U don't need so much, it's because it's kinda the same thing and gets the same result however the multires modifier tries to do it all at once in a virtual process which craps out performance so doing more subdivides first fixes the problem of slowing or freezing the computer. Hope this is relevant, I still haven't learned all the terminology yet but it's still a helpful trick to know
Do you still do fixes?
Yep
I have non manifold geometry and non of the fixes I’ve found will work. It’s a hard surface model.
use addon for 3d printing that comes with blender.
Hey are you still willing to help people if I share you my model?
yes. write me rinat.sahbiev@mail.ru
i just sent you to more emails from the previous email I sent you
It's spelled "artifacts".
It didn't remove all the inner meshes
Is this the reason that out modifiers go insane? Cos they’re wrapping around tons of surfaces?
@@TheTyroofToriyama what do u mean
@@TheTyroofToriyama maybe scale is wrong / inner faces / non manifold vortices/ one or couple of these
Hello, I sent you 2 emails seeing if you can help me with my project attached. Please help me out. thanks
So the solution is to remesh and then re-sculpt the details. Hmmm, I guess it works but it's not the easiest process.
Im agree with, cause 2days ago i start create geo nodes that optimize without any additional manipulations
@@rinatsahbiev1395 What do you mean? Can you please explain? Because that sounds interesting.
@@spork861 it means that i have 2 objects inside blender. First - high poly, second - cube with geo nodes that will recreate topology with little script + geo nodes modifier. I hope, it will work with all type of high poly models
Thanks Rinat...But could you please shorten it up..2:24 seconds I almost fell asleep
didnt work man
Way too fast. I'm a total beginner and I have no idea what you're saying or what any of that stuff is.
Thank you
