@@nathanbruce1992 probably the lawsuits (U2 etc) drained the label almost completey. I was on SST for a while and did get some royalties until the early 90s. But my band was not very popular, so yeah, i can see how heavy rotation bands like Black Flag, their members would expect quite a bit of royalties. And it's not just the music; there are T shirts and stuff like that. Well the early punk scene was not particularly known for solid contracts, unfortunately. Cheers and thanks for the reply
The mix is phenomenal, & so is the band.
Yeah guys were great I agree, but man looking at em all and remembering when we were young at all the LA venues back at beginning of 80s all I can think is MAN IM Getting OLD. Ron reyes was a great black flag singer too. The 1980 jealous again album we played a million times
Nice footage. Great Edit. Incredible show. I was right in between your cameras center stage shooting film of these cats. What a fucking amazing show. Thanks for this document.
"Before we get started this is sort of a disclaimer. We are not Black Flag, we are Flag"??? C'mon Keith we all know you guys are the real Black Flag and not Greg Ginn's crappy version.
John C you’re dumb Greg is black flag
REALLLY crappy.
John C. Umm alright dude. Though Keith IS Black Flag to me... fuck Rollins, don’t care what people say. But Ginn literally started the band and has been the staple. If they just had Ginn this would be the show of my life.
Even though this was the better version playing in 13, Black Flag is Greg Ginns band.
@@artothewanderer9517 If you're mad at Rollins because of Black Flags sound and look change, it was fucking Greg's band and what he wanted.
Chuck was the heart and soul of Black Flag.
