I keep reading about people putting their dogs in a crate for 8 hours during the day, and I’m just horrified. I don’t understand how anyone can do that to their dogs.
@Jbird1988 Not on that, you have people working a full-time 8-hour job. If you leave an adult, especially a puppy out, they may not be potty trained going on a wee wee pad, and could also chew on things you don't want them to chew on even with gate up.
I have to sister four months old chi and I want to let them have there own space because they have been in the same one up until now and it would be better for them so my question is how can I do that I know it will be hard at 1st so what's my first step to do that? Please help. Two sister at once😮
Good morning, Rachel! I love your videos and your work... I have a question and I think this is the right topic lol My golden sleeps at night in the kitchen but around 6:30 in the morning he starts barking desperate for us to wake up. I know that probably the first step would be to let him sleep peacefully in the carrier, but it's a very big investment that I can't make right now.
I have a doggo Argentine and a pitbull I’m going on car trip tommorow for just 1 day and I’ll be back in about 10 hours do you think my dogs can last??? I’m not cruel there always out in the house or yard just this once I need them in there for a while
I like your videos. However, referring to pet owners as pet parents is an incorrect use of the word parent. A parent has children; dogs and other animals are not children.
I leave my dog in his crate when I go on vacation I just leave him plenty of food and water and he’s always been fine

Yeah, it’s too much 😔
Come look at my home after loud noises during the day. You will understand

If you're lazy enough to leave a dog in a crate that long - great idea: don't get a dog.

No, that’s too much. Get a dog walker
What is a small pup? How old in weeks, months? TIA
It will vary based on the context of your question, your dog’s breed, etc. but typically about 2 years.

They are though
My pitbull is left in it crate day and night and is only let out in the backyard 3-4 times to go pee and poop . Then they go back in the crate
That’s horrible. Why did you even get a dog.
Serial killer energy
What kind of life is that for your dog!!!!
Then people like you surrender their dogs to shelters and society expects responsible people to adopt them
You're disgusting
