One of the funniest non-sells I've ever seen was at a house match between JBL and Rey Mysterio; JBL gave Mysterio a beating the whole match but then towards the end of the match Mysterio got his hulk-up and knocked JBL down to his knees near the ropes. Mysterio 619ed JBL in the face but JBL just shrugged it off standing up but had a look on his face like Mysterio just insulted him and hurt his feelings. He rubbed his jaw and with a very winy butt-hurt sounding voice accused Mysterio "You, you, you little Mexican jumping bean!" And then gave him a closeline from hell to end the match LOL Mysterio must have flipped head over heals at least 3 times in the air, he probably over-sold it LOL but it was awesome.

JBL's championship run on Smackdown was legendary. Everyone talks about the stranglehold that Triple H had over Raw back then. But man, those ten months that JBL had the title were something else.
Not the most underrated though. Most underrated was definitely Lord Steven/William Regal. The mat technician, catch and chain wrestling skills were monumental. Regal is not only the most underrated in Takers time, but throughout all time.
@DukeRhodes regal was everything but a physical force. He was great for mid guys for him to dominate and peak into the main eventers quarrels from time to time. No one denied his skill but he wasn't the full package
I was at that undertaker/mankind cage match they showed at the beginning. It was in-fμking-sane! After Taker threw him from atop the cage on to the press table, the whole crowd was feeling a mixture of amazement & worry. We didn't know if this was part of the script or what. And when they eventually took Mick away on a stretcher, everyone fell silent But then, a short time later, he came back down the runway riding the stretcher like a madman, climbed to the top of the cage only to immediately get choke slammed through the cage back on to the mat where is sh¡t ton of thumbtacks were laying! And the crowd just went berserk!! Years later I heard Mick Foley talking about it and he said he didn't remember anything after getting thrown from the cage 😅
It took me years to realize and accept that the dude from the APA was also the dude in the cowboy hat. They just looked and sounded like COMPLETELY different people.

Being completely off-topic here after watching a series of these videos with The Undertaker,Mark Calloway, I can see why he was respected in the locker room for all those years. He is very levelheaded, very intelligent and very down the Earth. I can see why other individuals in the WWE respected him, and followed his advice along with him being the judge in “ Wrestlers Court.” Every organization at least has one individual like Mark Calloway, where you look up to and respect their opinions because of the way they carry themselves.

I always wondered why JBL only got that 1 WWE championship reign. Its like they only pushed him so he could put over John Cena and that was a wrap for him.

John looked formidable in Blackjacks tag team. Back then I used to think that they were very underrated. Still remember his clean win over Vader, which was probably his biggest win before he became JBL.

During his time as JBL while I kept reading comments of people hating him, concentrating on saying he is so boring wrestling in a ring, I am sitting back watching this character and just enjoying one of the best heel characters we had seen in a long time where the only one during that time that got such good heel heat was HHH.

I always wondered why JBL only got that 1 WWE championship reign. Its like they only pushed him so he could put over John Cena and that was a wrap for him.
I think JBL preferred that 1long memorable reign rather than multiple short ones. I remember he cut a promo where his 1 reign is better that Triple H's 10 runs at that time which means he also lost 10times.

I actually really agree. Jbl was poppin when i was a kid and boy, you loved to hate him. He won when you thought he was gonna loose. They really pushed the length of his title run. Some crazy matches with eddie too
