It did get thrown away.

Thank you Taker for your years of putting your body on the line for our joy and entertainment as kids. Thank you Taker even more for sharing these stories as we're adults that show you guys were humans, who traveled long hours to earn your keep and provide for your families. I'm glad that you guys would rib on each other and built up relationships in the background to make those long hours of travel reasonable.
Oh, blimey! I laughed through this entire story, that's a story of true friendship. Also, it's scary how good a Paul Bearer impression Mark can do. It's almost like William's (Paul's) spirit takes momentary possession of his body and talks through him.
If that were true that would not be Bearer's "spirit" because he doesn't have one. That would be a demon taking possession of his body. The dead are asleep and know nothing. All this spirit talk is Greek philosophy and mythology and comes from the Egyptians and their view of the afterlife. Has nothing to do with the Bible, just in case you think that's were that "spirit of the dead" idea comes from.
The funny thing is, I think Paul told these exact stories (or at least his version of them) one time. I remember there was a long shoot interview with him and Jim Cornette and Paul even said then that he and Adams were the only ones to ever rib Taker. He said that Taker would go to the bathroom and, at one point, threw up because they put a cucumber in his iced tea. He also told the story of having to pee, but his version said Taker called the venue and Paul had a package of Depend’s addressed from Vince. 😂😂😂
Yeah, I watched it on YT years ago. But last I checked, that interview is gone from RUclips. I think there might be an audio only version, but the video of them sitting together is gone.

I mean, with the WWF / WWE being all scripted wins/losses to best get ticket sales, that's nothing to really be nearly as proud of as a fond memory with someone you genuinely considered a friend.
If I were Brian Adams and Paul Bearer, my rib would have been simple. Have Taker come back and the two of them sitting there like perfect angels. Get Taker all paranoid that they did something to his food and have him going nuts. Then at the end, tell him that “we really didn’t do anything at all.”
I like this prank so much more than what Paul Bearer actually did. With your idea, it's all in Taker's head. He would be trying to figure it out for DAYS. Until.....nothing happens. And then he can't be mad at THEM because HE MADE IT ALL UP IN HIS OWN HEAD!!!
Brother love was great at the beginning when taker was finding his character. But when Paul Bearer arrived you just knew that The Undertaker had found his true sidekick and the way they'd feed off each others energy just took taker to another level!
