Thanks again!
I love all your little tips, like the "trunk up for good luck" and showing the Swarovski logo. And thank you for your honesty with your business plans and strategies. Very helpful for this newbie :)
You are so welcome!
I dont think it would hurt to pull any items that have not had interest in a few years. It would be like having a new store. You could always sell those items on WhatNot or have a garage sale and hopefully get your investment back.
I would like to add that I would try a few things before pulling a lot of items, things you normally do anyway. Such as running sales or end/sell similar. And if that did not work then you could take them down.
Yes we're also doing 50% off to likes on those items as well
Wonderful sales, Kat! What surprised me the most was the high dollar value on the Josef figurine, love that!
Yes some are crazy high and go for hundreds! Even the smaller versions
I have had an increase on Mercari since the change to no fees, I also reset my entire inventory there. I'll auto consider all offers that equal the 15-20 ebay fees but I also did free shipping so I have to consider that
Oh yes good point and I'm happy to hear that!
I don’t usually list my home good on Poshmark but now I will. Thank you for this information. ❤
You are so welcome!
I only sell on Mercari and I am hoping more sellers come over because of the fee reduction. I can't figure out eBay on my android I just gave up and only do Mercari because it is very user friendly. I've only been reselling for 10 months. And after selling for 1 months+ with no fees I'm hesitant to go to a for fee site. Thank you I learn a lot from your videos 😊
For us we only get 10% of the sales on mercari as eBay. I have a couple videos how to list from android in my tips and tricks videos. So personally I'm fine paying fees for $10,000 in sales vs $1000
I just sold 2 items I've had listed for 3 years and another that was listed for 2 years. All got full price. One was a St John dress I bought for $5 at a yard sale, sold for $115. My sales have jumped this last week, both on ebay and etsy. No idea why but I'll take it.
We all have to do what's right for us.
Yes very true. We had great days we'd and Thurs both over $700 but today was slower
Great sales Kat!!!
Thank you 😊
Always learning a lot from you--- ❤🧡💫 Thanks Kat!
You are so welcome!
Thank you Kat! I love picking up napkins and placemats. Now I'll be checking out the beach towels. 🏖 Have a blessed rest of your weekend.
K.T.
Yes for sure! I love them all too. Hope you have a great one
Great sales! I think I'd be really afraid of taking down so many listings. I understand why you are hesitant to do it.
Yes it's stressful but we've done it once before
@@TheNurseFlipper I'm sure it will work out fine. I am currently going through my entire inventory. It's a big job. My store is just a little smaller than yours.
@@calidebs950 yes it is a lot for sure
My advice is to thru box or shelf at a time end put back in drafts or new listings
Super video Kat. Thank you for your reply to my new YT channel plan. Been working on it for hours. ❤
You're so welcome!

Do you mind sharing what tool or app you are using to place the arrowed measurements on your clothing listings. Thank you. Great sales!!
Smart sizer it is only available on iPhone
@@TheNurseFlipper Thank you. I have an iPhone and will check it out. I hate using rulers in my photos. Using the smart sizer looks so much better.
Could you do a video on high selling calculators if you haven’t already?
I haven't and probably won't as they're not something I'm very familiar with and i don't find them ever. I try to do things I have some knowledge on so if there's one's that are possibly scams I could catch them but with calculators I'm not sure I would know
Well I just got my May summary from EB and shipping is 1/3 of my revenues. and I'm glad that I am charging the buyer shipping fees vs. FREE shipping.
Oh I agree I think they should pay
Hi Kat. Do you ship your hats in padded poly mailers or in priority boxes?
8x6x4 boxes and use ground advantage
Thanks.
I've done inventory management for decades for a carrier and I am confused by your suggestion to delist all items and then relist what hasnt sold.
Is all your items listed on macari and posh items you had listed on ebay? If so wouldn't it be easier to take a list of you currently listed items from each site and anything no longer on ebay you flag for removal after you confirm the sale under your sold section and / verify the physical item is in inventory?
Idk if you assign item numbers to each items or use the same title which would be the best way to sort each list for ease in cross referencing. That's the way I would do it.
Might save alot time and efforts.
We have 7000 items it would take months to compare and check through where probably only a few weeks if we de list. Ebay inventory is correct the ones on poshmark and mercari some are still there even though we don't have them.
If I may clarify the process you cause I do believe even with 7k in inventory I believe that you could do it in a much less time then to delist and then go through one at a time and relist, at least to flag the items in question. I've done this helping my bf with his resale inventory and he had around 3300 and it really didn't take that long. Assuming you used an inventory item number assigned to each item that is used across all platforms
Or they all have the same description across the platforms
How I did it was I took the inventory list and exported the data to an excel spreadsheet
Each platform I saved individually and made them have their own back ground color, ie ebay blue, posh green ect. Add a column that says platforms name, ie column A eBay copy that for all 7k items.
Edit out any columns of data that's not required for you to identify each item and platform. Meaning if you can limit it to platform, item #, description, quality (list date, price)
Make sure the data columns are in the same column on all spreadsheets.
Then copy the edited list to a new spreadsheet putting all platforms on this sheet
Sort by platform then by item number then description.
This will group together the items.
The items that are not listed on eBay will break the color pattern and your eyes will quickly identify the discrepancy. Those will be the ones you audit. Edit the spreadsheet when you remove the listing remove that line of data
Then you can do any additional checks along the way like having a 2nd person do a final proof.
I did the 3300 in a 2 day stretch but only a few hours each day. I think you'd be surprised how quickly it will go but it does require an eye for detail and knowledge of excel spreadsheets
and I found it easier when printed out. Yes it wastes ink and paper but time and accuracy to me is more valuable in this case.
Something to consider, I've done this process with some pretty large companies with much larger inventory and found it extremely effective for audit.
Good luck all the same, love your videos thank you for sharing your journey
I only had jewelry listed on Mercari for 1 month got a # of love your item on pieces but only sold 1 piece for the whole month. Apparently people don't like getting charge what Mercari charges the buyer for shipping. I removed all my listings.
A month isn't a very long time to have items listed
@TheNurseFlipper it was a test one I couldn't afford to continue using list perfectly. I'll stick to ebay.
@rosemaryhubis8039 why would you just list jewelry there though? And they were already listed, so why not leave them up? I don't understand. I don't sell much jewelry on Mercari more on poshmark and ebay. Mercari for me is clothing and collectibles that sell
@@TheNurseFlipper incredibly disappointed in Mercari and limited funds - I don't have the sales and $ you do
@@rosemaryhubis8039 so mercari would make more sense they have no cost to list and have 0 seller fees. I just don't understand removing listings you already put your time and effort into? My sales are so high from 5 years consistent listing and having over 7000 listings it doesn't come overnight. I started this with less than two hundred dollars
