    I dont think it would hurt to pull any items that have not had interest in a few years. It would be like having a new store. You could always sell those items on WhatNot or have a garage sale and hopefully get your investment back.

    • @user-zg5sr2zh7j
      @user-zg5sr2zh7j Месяц назад +2

      I would like to add that I would try a few things before pulling a lot of items, things you normally do anyway. Such as running sales or end/sell similar. And if that did not work then you could take them down.

    I have had an increase on Mercari since the change to no fees, I also reset my entire inventory there. I'll auto consider all offers that equal the 15-20 ebay fees but I also did free shipping so I have to consider that

    I only sell on Mercari and I am hoping more sellers come over because of the fee reduction. I can't figure out eBay on my android I just gave up and only do Mercari because it is very user friendly. I've only been reselling for 10 months. And after selling for 1 months+ with no fees I'm hesitant to go to a for fee site. Thank you I learn a lot from your videos 😊

      For us we only get 10% of the sales on mercari as eBay. I have a couple videos how to list from android in my tips and tricks videos. So personally I'm fine paying fees for $10,000 in sales vs $1000

    I just sold 2 items I've had listed for 3 years and another that was listed for 2 years. All got full price. One was a St John dress I bought for $5 at a yard sale, sold for $115. My sales have jumped this last week, both on ebay and etsy. No idea why but I'll take it.
    We all have to do what's right for us.

    I've done inventory management for decades for a carrier and I am confused by your suggestion to delist all items and then relist what hasnt sold.
    Is all your items listed on macari and posh items you had listed on ebay? If so wouldn't it be easier to take a list of you currently listed items from each site and anything no longer on ebay you flag for removal after you confirm the sale under your sold section and / verify the physical item is in inventory?
    Idk if you assign item numbers to each items or use the same title which would be the best way to sort each list for ease in cross referencing. That's the way I would do it.
    Might save alot time and efforts.

    • @TheNurseFlipper
      @TheNurseFlipper  Месяц назад +2

      We have 7000 items it would take months to compare and check through where probably only a few weeks if we de list. Ebay inventory is correct the ones on poshmark and mercari some are still there even though we don't have them.

    • @tresamatthiesen4779
      @tresamatthiesen4779 Месяц назад

      If I may clarify the process you cause I do believe even with 7k in inventory I believe that you could do it in a much less time then to delist and then go through one at a time and relist, at least to flag the items in question. I've done this helping my bf with his resale inventory and he had around 3300 and it really didn't take that long. Assuming you used an inventory item number assigned to each item that is used across all platforms
      Or they all have the same description across the platforms
      How I did it was I took the inventory list and exported the data to an excel spreadsheet
      Each platform I saved individually and made them have their own back ground color, ie ebay blue, posh green ect. Add a column that says platforms name, ie column A eBay copy that for all 7k items.
      Edit out any columns of data that's not required for you to identify each item and platform. Meaning if you can limit it to platform, item #, description, quality (list date, price)
      Make sure the data columns are in the same column on all spreadsheets.
      Then copy the edited list to a new spreadsheet putting all platforms on this sheet
      Sort by platform then by item number then description.
      This will group together the items.
      The items that are not listed on eBay will break the color pattern and your eyes will quickly identify the discrepancy. Those will be the ones you audit. Edit the spreadsheet when you remove the listing remove that line of data
      Then you can do any additional checks along the way like having a 2nd person do a final proof.
      I did the 3300 in a 2 day stretch but only a few hours each day. I think you'd be surprised how quickly it will go but it does require an eye for detail and knowledge of excel spreadsheets
      and I found it easier when printed out. Yes it wastes ink and paper but time and accuracy to me is more valuable in this case.
      Something to consider, I've done this process with some pretty large companies with much larger inventory and found it extremely effective for audit.
      Good luck all the same, love your videos thank you for sharing your journey
