Could not agree with you more! Saw them twice. Once literally right in front of Asami, a couple of feet away. Shes an amazing singer, but her presence, love for the crowd and everyone in the band can’t be understated. Shes amazing. I recommend watching live performances, but definitely going to a show of theirs is best.

Though Asami aspired to be an R&B singer, my personal opinion is that it was fate that she ended up singing heavy metal with LOVEBITES. I really feel this combination extracts the best from her, and LOVEBITES' success goes toward proving this true.

Asami is one of those vocalists that when you first listen to them, typically it feels as if she doesn’t fit in the metal genre to a degree, but after listening to them more, you can’t imagine anyone else singing for them than her. She brings such an amazing feel to their music that it’s definitely fitting that she’s nicknamed “The One and Only Voice” because she is the one and only person that can make Lovebites who they are. Obviously, the rest of the band are also a massive part of the band as well, but Asami is the one member that could not be replaced. Her voice is unique enough that I don’t think anyone could be able to match it.

I would think that's probably a factor for sure. I had never heard of them here in Australia because the Australian music scene is honestly a joke. If it's not "main stream" then none of our radio stations or anything like that care so that's a factor too that record companies dictate what we listen to a lot of the time. Here in Australia anyway
LOVEBITES is a band that specializes in fast beats like the one in this song. They also play thrash metal and sometimes blast beats. However, epic, lyrical melodies like “Frozen Serenade,” which you'll be moved by, are sprinkled throughout every song.I'll leave the song recommendations to other Wolfpacks, but by all means enjoy!

Looks like another person infected by the joyful Lovebites virus. Welcome to the wolfpack! I can totally sympathize with your situation, wanting to hear more of their material quickly and yet doing one reaction at a time. And what's more, these songs are so complex musically that you need to listen to every one several times to notice and appreciate every tasty detail. "Swan song" would be a good choice for the next track in my humble opinion, but make sure it's the version with the Chopin etude as an intro. Miyako (the dark haired guitarist) is easily as skilled as a pianist as she is on guitar. "A frozen serenade" is also very cool, including tempo-changes as well as interludes on piano and acoustic guitar. And there is more, more, more... A whole world of awesome music to explore!

Hello again! You had pondered in your reaction if one of the songs was at the end of the concert. As it is with well trained vocalists, Asami also has great command over her speaking voice. Safe to say, aside from singing EVERY song, Asami interacts with the audience between and ever during songs, speaking, encouraging, etc. So she's using her voice in one way or another roughly 80+% of a set that's runs just under 2 hours. Your commentary is well taken, as you remind me very much of my daughter's vocal coach. As I attended all of ther 104 lessons, recitals, and solo and choir performances, I'd say I have a good grip on what makes "the machine" function properly for a lifetime.

Some reactors (very few, by the way) don’t like Asami’s vibrato, but she’s is an outstanding singer and I cannot imagine Lovebites without her. I like so much her midrange vocals as in the songs “Empty daydream” and “Epilogue” (both live), and also nice piano is played by Miyako.
for most people, vibrato is very hard to learn. so she's absolutely amazing. but I love her low and high note more than her vibrato. after all, the vibrato is a cherry on top.

This song is a perfect take on the Symphonic Epic Power metal sub-genre, but it is not even the main style of LOVEBITES. Every, and I mean EVERY song of theirs will have something that makes it unique, and will keep the listeners on their toes as to what's coming until the last note sounds. You have a lot to explore, and I am happy for you - and us the viewers! P. S.: Nothing more rewarding and validating as seeing another person with knowledge of music and technique geek out over this band! Confirms over and again what each of us felt all along, even though perhaps unable to cleanly articulate it - these girls are special. :)

Okay, the door to the rabbit hole has been opened, so let's learn a few names - shall we?! Let's start with M&M, the two wonderful guitarists from Lovebites. In recent releases we usually see on the right side (from the audience's perspective, on the left side) of the stage, now mostly with blonde extensions, the phenomenal Midorri, goddess on the guitars, exercise junkie, sports fanatic and audience flirt world champion; but a duo always requires two: on the opposite side of the stage, with dark hair, often with her eyes closed when she is immersed in making music, the golden touch, her flair, Miyako: she composes most of Lovebites' music, is a giant on the piano and guitar and combines classical music, classic metal music and other elements from rock history into a great new musical masterpiece. Until 2021 - the bassist that you have shown on your channel so far, Miho, together with drummer Haruna, the founder of this fantastic band, Lovebites - unfortunately Miho left the band and in the same year 2021 the band was rejuvenated, because Fami (October 2021) became the new bassist for the wolves (Lovebites) - luckily Fami is an equally fantastic bassist and musician, so the level of Lovebites did not drop - it was not easy, because the level of these musicians is mighty high! ... The band was not only rejuvenated by Fami's entry, but the average size (height) was increased! Together with Miyako, Fami is the tallest in Lovebites. Let's move on to the two physically smallest musicians in Lovebites - musically they are both giants too! Smaller than gigantic, you can't estimate the abilities and musical possibilities of this band anyway! Singer Asami writes most of the lyrics of the Lovebites songs, she comes from a choir and R&B background, a vocal and musical sensation in her own right, the band doesn't do anything less - and last but not least, my favorite in the band (I just have a big weakness for drummers), the "little big engine", the unique and co-founder of the band Lovebites, Haruna - nobody plays the big drum set like the woman from Shizuoka, Japan - phenomenal!! If you're wondering why I keep using superlatives here, you should, if you can, watch and listen to this band live: you'll understand! This is the song/video that first got me hooked on Lovebites, and I'm a bit sad that it seems to be overlooked by most reaction channels. To be fair, though, most channels seem to prefer looking at live performances, and I don't think there's a good, official live version of this song on RUclips. Being primarily a bass guitarist myself, the first thing that grabbed me when I watched this video for the first time was the fact that Miho, the bassist, was playing at this tempo with her fingers. Most metal bassists would be using a pick for something like this. So that blew me away right out of the gate, but I've since become completely enamored with the talent and skill of every member of the band. Miyako (guitarist on the right with the V guitar) is my favorite.

I'm going to allow myself a little thought : in your presentation "The best ladies in metal" you should remove the word "ladies". Which would give "The best in metal" which would be perfect because it is the obvious reality. These young women are the best, and by far, in metal all genres combined. Asami is definitely something special. To really appreciate her and the rest of the band go and see them live. What Asami brings to this band is so much more than a vocalist. You feel her presence and passion through the entire show. In short she is amazing
Could not agree with you more! Saw them twice. Once literally right in front of Asami, a couple of feet away. Shes an amazing singer, but her presence, love for the crowd and everyone in the band can’t be understated. Shes amazing. I recommend watching live performances, but definitely going to a show of theirs is best.

Though Asami aspired to be an R&B singer, my personal opinion is that it was fate that she ended up singing heavy metal with LOVEBITES. I really feel this combination extracts the best from her, and LOVEBITES' success goes toward proving this true.

Some background:
They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief headbanger and founder of the band) had a vision of a new band in the style of the great European bands of the golden age of metal. She recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuclear reactor”); they needed two world-class guitarists, and so they went and found Midori and Miyako, who were with other groups. The four of them then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time (she was also trained in ballet).
Miyako has composed a little more than half of their music, with Miho composing a lot of their thrashier songs in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer. Midori has also been getting into the act, and they regularly perform a song written by Haruna as well. Asami writes most of the lyrics and is also getting involved in composing.
In mid-2021, Miho left the band she had founded, for personal reasons. They went on hiatus while they searched for a new bassist, and during that time, two of them had babies, even as the band were writing and rehearsing their new album. They recently announced the new bassist, Fami, who is a young phenom and herself a composer and multi-instrumentalist. They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash. Almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel (though she can also shred like crazy). Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band."

Remember, they have been around for a while and had many concerts. The videos, although the same songs, have a different feel in each concert. I suggest, that when you pick a Lovebites song to react to, take the time to watch the other versions too, either as further reactins or in your own time.. I think you will find, as we have, you can never get enough Lovebites..
Asami is one of those vocalists that when you first listen to them, typically it feels as if she doesn’t fit in the metal genre to a degree, but after listening to them more, you can’t imagine anyone else singing for them than her. She brings such an amazing feel to their music that it’s definitely fitting that she’s nicknamed “The One and Only Voice” because she is the one and only person that can make Lovebites who they are. Obviously, the rest of the band are also a massive part of the band as well, but Asami is the one member that could not be replaced. Her voice is unique enough that I don’t think anyone could be able to match it.

Because the big numbers in show business today then have to admit earning their millions of Dollars by considerably less effort (and pretending their audience, that! would be the top notch achievement) ?
I would think that's probably a factor for sure. I had never heard of them here in Australia because the Australian music scene is honestly a joke. If it's not "main stream" then none of our radio stations or anything like that care so that's a factor too that record companies dictate what we listen to a lot of the time. Here in Australia anyway

LOVEBITES is a band that specializes in fast beats like the one in this song. They also play thrash metal and sometimes blast beats. However, epic, lyrical melodies like “Frozen Serenade,” which you'll be moved by, are sprinkled throughout every song.I'll leave the song recommendations to other Wolfpacks, but by all means enjoy!

Looks like another person infected by the joyful Lovebites virus. Welcome to the wolfpack! I can totally sympathize with your situation, wanting to hear more of their material quickly and yet doing one reaction at a time. And what's more, these songs are so complex musically that you need to listen to every one several times to notice and appreciate every tasty detail. "Swan song" would be a good choice for the next track in my humble opinion, but make sure it's the version with the Chopin etude as an intro. Miyako (the dark haired guitarist) is easily as skilled as a pianist as she is on guitar. "A frozen serenade" is also very cool, including tempo-changes as well as interludes on piano and acoustic guitar. And there is more, more, more... A whole world of awesome music to explore!

Hello again! You had pondered in your reaction if one of the songs was at the end of the concert. As it is with well trained vocalists, Asami also has great command over her speaking voice. Safe to say, aside from singing EVERY song, Asami interacts with the audience between and ever during songs, speaking, encouraging, etc. So she's using her voice in one way or another roughly 80+% of a set that's runs just under 2 hours. Your commentary is well taken, as you remind me very much of my daughter's vocal coach. As I attended all of ther 104 lessons, recitals, and solo and choir performances, I'd say I have a good grip on what makes "the machine" function properly for a lifetime.
This is happy metal. I love these ladies, every single one of them, because they make me happy.

Some reactors (very few, by the way) don’t like Asami’s vibrato, but she’s is an outstanding singer and I cannot imagine Lovebites without her. I like so much her midrange vocals as in the songs “Empty daydream” and “Epilogue” (both live), and also nice piano is played by Miyako.
for most people, vibrato is very hard to learn.

Some of the best, creative song writing we'll experience in our lifetime. Just my opinion. You should react to Soldier Stands Solitarily to watch them release the wrath of brutal musicianship on a whole other level, and of course it's live. Haruna's double bass is off the charts. Great reaction! 🤘
This song is a perfect take on the Symphonic Epic Power metal sub-genre, but it is not even the main style of LOVEBITES. Every, and I mean EVERY song of theirs will have something that makes it unique, and will keep the listeners on their toes as to what's coming until the last note sounds. You have a lot to explore, and I am happy for you - and us the viewers!

Let's start with M&M, the two wonderful guitarists from Lovebites. In recent releases we usually see on the right side (from the audience's perspective, on the left side) of the stage, now mostly with blonde extensions, the phenomenal Midorri, goddess on the guitars, exercise junkie, sports fanatic and audience flirt world champion; but a duo always requires two: on the opposite side of the stage, with dark hair, often with her eyes closed when she is immersed in making music, the golden touch, her flair, Miyako: she composes most of Lovebites' music, is a giant on the piano and guitar and combines classical music, classic metal music and other elements from rock history into a great new musical masterpiece.
Until 2021 - the bassist that you have shown on your channel so far, Miho, together with drummer Haruna, the founder of this fantastic band, Lovebites - unfortunately Miho left the band and in the same year 2021 the band was rejuvenated, because Fami (October 2021) became the new bassist for the wolves (Lovebites) - luckily Fami is an equally fantastic bassist and musician, so the level of Lovebites did not drop - it was not easy, because the level of these musicians is mighty high! ... The band was not only rejuvenated by Fami's entry, but the average size (height) was increased! Together with Miyako, Fami is the tallest in Lovebites.
Let's move on to the two physically smallest musicians in Lovebites - musically they are both giants too! Smaller than gigantic, you can't estimate the abilities and musical possibilities of this band anyway!
Singer Asami writes most of the lyrics of the Lovebites songs, she comes from a choir and R&B background, a vocal and musical sensation in her own right, the band doesn't do anything less - and last but not least, my favorite in the band (I just have a big weakness for drummers), the "little big engine", the unique and co-founder of the band Lovebites, Haruna - nobody plays the big drum set like the woman from Shizuoka, Japan - phenomenal!!
If you're wondering why I keep using superlatives here, you should, if you can, watch and listen to this band live: you'll understand!

I’m the most boring commenter on RUclips. This is the best band that has ever existed. I’m not joking, I’m deadly serious. Best. Ever.
This is the song/video that first got me hooked on Lovebites, and I'm a bit sad that it seems to be overlooked by most reaction channels. To be fair, though, most channels seem to prefer looking at live performances, and I don't think there's a good, official live version of this song on RUclips.
Being primarily a bass guitarist myself, the first thing that grabbed me when I watched this video for the first time was the fact that Miho, the bassist, was playing at this tempo with her fingers. Most metal bassists would be using a pick for something like this. So that blew me away right out of the gate, but I've since become completely enamored with the talent and skill of every member of the band. Miyako (guitarist on the right with the V guitar) is my favorite.
I'm with you. This is a fantastic song. I do prefer to react to live performances as you can't hide anything behind them but you're right in saying there aren't many, at least from what I could find of this song 😊

I think it's heavily a matter of opinion. As I explained in the tail end of the video, these things are heavily subjective but I do think they're up there for sure 😊

Which would give "The best in metal" which would be perfect because it is the obvious reality. These young women are the best, and by far, in metal all genres combined.
