Simple thorough explication. Great camera work. Great hair. Great overall video. Just got my Bronco two days ago and this video earned a quick Subscribe. Thanks!
Thanks for the compliments. Glad we could help, congrats on getting your Bronco 👍🏻👍🏻
I should have watched this video before scratching my plastic parts. Lol. Thanks, keep putting out the vids we all need! 🍻
Thanks for checking out our page and the feedback. Glad we could help 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Awesome dude! Thanks for making the video
Thanks!
Thanks for this video. I have the 2023 Bronco Heritage with the roof rack and was running into issue in getting the front panels off. This video showed how to do this perfectly and quickly. Thanks again.
Awesome! Glad we could help. Enjoy your Bronco!
Thank you so much for this! I contacted Ford corporate customer service and they couldn’t even tell me if the hard tip was still removable with the roof racks!
Glad we could help you out! Thanks for feedback
I’ve never been interested in the Bronco because I don’t like the front grill, until I had my Raptor in for an oil change today and saw one in the show room with the rack and the tops off like this. That’s a fantastic feature. I can see being on a trail or beach, pulling my trailer, gear on rack, with the tops out.
👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks man! I was getting pissed lol
Yeah it’s challenging at times. Hope this helped.
Are there centering pins that go in the roll bar holes above the door for the hardtop panel?
I want to build a “radio” bar that attaches above each door, so I can mount my mobile ham radio. I’d like to use the forward most hole to mount the bar.
I have a softop now, but plan to get a hardtop when they are available and I don’t want to do anything to hinder my hardtop installation when I get it.
Send us an email or DM on Instagram will send pics
Can you remove the front panels with the Ford/Bestop Bimini mesh shade installed and the roof racks on?
Haven’t done that. But with our gear shade Bimini top we can remove the front panels but it’s challenging to reach around the top part to get the center latches undone
Nice video.. maybe something’s changed but can’t get it to clear .. either the back outer pin gets in the way or the pin in the latch you identify .. am I missing something?
It does take some maneuvering a few times to get used to the angle needed.
Cool.. will try.. just bring extra careful not to damage anything:)
I’ve been wondering for a while, if you can you remove the back only?
Not with the roof rails. Only front row.
@OurBroncoLife But what if you remove the Roof Racks first then would the hard top be able to come off completely?
Yes of course
What roof rack is this? OEM or aftermarket? If aftermarket can you share link?
This one is OEM in video. We have a HookeRoad one. Check them out. Promo code OBL
Can you drive the Bronco with 1 or 2 roof panels on? Could you leave the back panel on and only have the front 2 off?
Of course
You can take the drivers’ side off and/or the passenger side, with the rear panel still in place.
I couldn’t get the passenger one off with the roof rack on. How do you remove the roof rack?
Did you close the handle and slide the top piece towards back and then try pulling it out. Maneuver around the peg it hits near front.
Are you able to place the OEM roof rail without the hardtop on?
No. The rear mounting point for roof rail is on hard top.
@@OurBroncoLife thank you!
Can this system, with sufficient cross bars, support a rooftop tent?
Indeed 450lbs
@@OurBroncoLife Do you know if they are available for purchase from Ford?
Yes. Ford accessories has multiple roof top tents available
When did you get the roof rack?
The roof rack isn’t ours - just demoing it
@@OurBroncoLife ok that makes sense.
Maybe this has been said but my pins get in the way as I slide it back. It wont go back towards rear to allow the front pin to clear. Thanks
Can the pins be adjusted? There is no way it seems like the rear pin won’t allow to raise and go back. Any help would be appreciated.. wondering what the clearance is between roof rack rail and roof. Are they all the same?
As far as we know all tops are the same for pin and latch placement as well as spacing.
Front pins did you try shifting side to side vs front to back first?
Yes. Thanks, can I loosen center panel and slide back enough to slide back front panel to remove? I just got this and have saved your video for almost a year.disappointed when I tried this. Your video is excellent. When I lift it to slide to the back to make room for the pin to clear up front the rear pin will not get High enough to pass over the center panel
Glad we can provide some help.
what about back panel with roof rack?
Sadly the second row one won’t come off with rack on
You're very pretty 🙂
Why would Ford design a rail that does not allow the middle panels to be removed?!!! That is a horrible design. :( Are there after-market side rails that do allow the removal of the middle panel? Thanks for the video.
Good points. Would nice if it could be removed.
Why can’t u take the back ones off
Because it’s one curved piece with not enough clearance to get around roof rails.
Because it's a design fail.
If I have a 2 door can I remove with roof rack in the back section
GREAT Video!!!
I am selling a brand new soft top if you know anyone who would be interested.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
@@OurBroncoLife Do you know what the payload is for the rack?
@@stephengrove3613450lbs I believe.
Once again Ford effs things up. Can’t even take off 2nd row top with the rails on. Poor design.
Maybe Gen 2
I'm struggling with his right now and i have a rooftop tent on the rack that is heavy. Can't get my roof panel back on!!!!!
@@skringler8267 did you close the handles and cheat it towards the back? The one peg in front is what you are trying to get around the bolt that sticks out
@@OurBroncoLife I used 2 small jacks to lift the front end of the rack. Its just a bad design, a little higher rack and it wouldn't be an issue. Maybe just 1/2" higher?
