  • We show how to fully remove and install the NEW Ford Bronco Hard Top. We timed ourselves to see how fast we can remove the Bronco Hard Top. We then tested the wind noise and water intrusion. After all the issues with the first round of Hard Tops, we were surprised at the results.

Surprising to see that not many people are still talking about the amount of debris flaking from the headliner on these panels. It’s a shame to see they haven’t been able to get the QC under control after all this time. Starting to seriously consider changing to a soft top roof and buying a HT after the fact. Thanks for getting this video uploaded!

Joel, there are some new removal tools that are essentially shopping carts with lifts installed on them. There are also ceiling lift systems available for your garage. As far as hard tops go, this is the lightest and easiest to remove. Good luck with your decision.

I had a Jeep Wrangler 4 dr., and it came with both a hard and soft top. One for winter, one for summer. Here in Canada, the hardtop in winter was a necessity. Summer fun and easy/quick top up/down couldn't be beat. Now w my '22 4dr/2.3 Black Diamond Sasquatch, I'm loving the soft top and looking to find a hardtop solution before winter. Lovin the Bronco!

Great Video - SOOOOoooo glad I was "forced" into a soft top. This looks like a serious PIA where the soft top takes 12 seconds to get flipped back for quick outdoor experience - and maybe 5 minutes to get the windows removed and top all the way down. NO WAY I would want this hard top at this point - so happy with my soft top!

The equivalent of just flipping back your soft top is to just remove those two little T-top panels from the front. Also very easy. Taking the soft top completely down is a pain, just like taking off the hard top is.

Thanks for sharing the video and giving a "real world" perspective on the removal and installation. I've wanted a Bronco since I saw a '74 Bronco restored in 1989, but I never bit the bullet. I've been following the new Broncos since 2018 and since I've passed the half century mark, I think it's time to treat myself.
Is it safe to say that based on the panel design, because of all the securing points, you could remove just 1 of them and leave the other 2? For example, you could remove the front panel and leave the back 2 panels?
Thanks again for the awesome video and looking forward to the door removal post!

And everyone stop asking if the cabin is quite inside at highway speeds & oh the sound deadener is flaking off.. lol. You don’t buy rigs with removable tops for quietness! There just on there to keep the elements out cold/rain these rigs jeeps now the new bronco are intended to roll with the top off! That’s where it’s at!
