My dumbass pull those triangle bolts all the way out when I took it off last Spring. Decided to put it back on today and was trying to figure out why they were catching on anything when I tried to screw them back in. I figured it out. The thread that they go into is on a little round thing that spins. So you gotta get it in the right spot get it started and then you're good to go .
Secure the rear crossbar first before tightening the rear stanchions
Can you tell me if the front cross bar can move closer to the front of the roof? I’d like to get it as close to the front as possible to carry my canoe. Thanks
You can move it to the front, or you can purchase an additional crossbar from Ford.
Looks great. How hard is it to remove the front two row tops with this rack installed? Still possible?

Can a light bar still be attached to those accessory locations if the roof rack is in place?
Most likely if you drill into the base plate on the light bar mount and use longer screws to go through both and if you want to put the cap on the front of the rails you might have to do hardcore sanding
Rigid lighting makes a bracket for this rack to Mount a 40 inch bar.
Can a roof top tent be mounted on top of this system if two cross rails are installed?
Not on the factory one
What’s the part number of that triangular torque wrench? I never got one and can’t find it on the Ford parts site
It should have come with the kit. If reach out to whoever you purchased it from. You’ll definitely need it to install it.
Can you take off the two front tops? It appears like that is maybe possible...

Does adding this OEM roof rack produce wind noise?
We didn’t notice any difference. When you add the accessories like roof rack etc those are e could hear.

Curious why is there a need to put the Yakima roof rack on top of the factor roof rack?
the factory roof rails don't come with cross bars. the Yakima goes on top
@@jgg204 - it does come with 2 cross bars. The one in the back is not movable, but the front cross bar can be relocated in the middle or towards the front. I moved my cross bar to the front and was able to install my RTT on the factor roof rack with existing cross bars.

It can be moved to the front of the rack. There is two push pins blocking the holes. Remove those and bolt the middle bar in the front. You can also buy an additional crossbar from ford.
