I bought these too as i bought for the OG odin and i realized that these buttons are not as tall as the originals the console comes with, they go way deep into the console. You should consider to make exact copies with the same height as the originals too,tbh it was disappointing for me again and in the end i put back the originals :(
Same. And the rings damn thats so hard they always move if i want close the board . Thats why i think its better if they r tall as the orginal would be perfekt and without the rings
The rings make the buttons sink farther into the console, and the start button does as well since it is next to one of the washers you install. My recommendation is don't use the washers. Took mine out.
For anyone thinking about following the steps depicted here, just to swap the original Odin 2 button for Xbox style, I'll spare you the pain, you can't you need custom buttons as each have a specific shape to fit in their dedicated spot.
Just got the normal Xbox style buttons and they look and feel great! The installation process wasn't too bad, it was fairly quick and simple if you follow the video guide here. I would like to point out that I did have some issues with mine since I was one of those who decided to superglue their thumbstick caps on because they kept falling off. This made it difficult to get the board out through the method shown here. Instead, I had to undo the ribbon cable to the battery and pull the entire board with the full thumbstick and clear LED fitting out together. That wasn't too bad, but putting it back in was a bit of a pain, trying to line up the LED fitting properly underneath while keeping the Battery ribbon cable out of the way and plugging it back in. Overall, it only added a few extra minutes but something to look out for if you glued your thumbsticks on like I did.
We only used a tiny bit of superglue on a filed down toothpick to avoid it being difficult to purposefully remove them but it's kept them from coming off in use and when I stuff it into the cubby in my f150 and it rolls around with my phone in there.
Do you sell just those 3 small rings to give the buttons better travel? I already have the rainbow odin buttons I want to use but would be interested in purchasing those rings
Actually, if you ball the black analogue sticks, dpad, and triggers for the white, you can make it the Storm Trooper edition, and it looks sick AF. #RetroGameCorps
@@HappyHours101 hey I messaged them and they said that it makes the buttons press in more in so they have further travel time 😁 I'm very keen and I like my buttons deep :)

I want to say it was FF Crystal Chronicles but can't remember exactly, maybe I'm getting mixed up with FFXI. But ya, kinda shitty for not sourcing or crediting.
It was mentioned that the buttons would have more travel/be able to be pressed down farther. That is fine, but not at the cost of making my start button shorter and not having tall enough buttons to start out in the first place.

Recently got the holographic xbox buttons. Can't wait to put them in. Amazing quality, as always!

FINALLY!! Really exciting to see you working on the Odin2! Will you be developing the black/white PS-shape buttons as well?

Thanks so much for the tutorial! My buttons just arrived yesterday
Did you put the buttons on yet? Was it difficult?
@@valg.3152 yes, and thank you for asking. It was relatively simple and similar to the install on the original Odin.
@@JackieBrown111 awsome😃
I have my buttons but im scared to put them on. I don’t want to mess up. 😮
Amazing. Cant wait for mine to arrive!
Absolutely love the work! I’m hoping you make the same galaxy buttons like from the Miyoo Mini +! Those are the most beautiful looking buttons ever!!!

I wish you guys made a white version of those buttons for the white odin 2. Having it with black buttons doesn't fit the rest of the console T.T
I agree, but I still bought the black PlayStation buttons for my white Odin 2. Worth it, even though it doesn't perfectly match.
Actually, if you ball the black analogue sticks, dpad, and triggers for the white, you can make it the Storm Trooper edition, and it looks sick AF. #RetroGameCorps
amazing music choice
Please make full height buttons that match the originals :(
Can you recommend a screwdriver set? Which one do you use?
I use ifixt set but you can use any screwdriver torx 5 and ph000 👌☺️
How do you access the Key Test to confirm all of the buttons are working correctly once you finish??
So do the rings make the buttons travel further than the stock model? Im excited either way im just confused in what the rings actually do 😅

The little black folding think on the bumper ribbon connector came off and I can't get it back on. Am I just screwed?
Can these buttons be used for the odin 2 mini?
my back trigger [right mostly] is grity/grabby/grinding[?] when i press from the sides and not dead center. any ideas?
Are the buttons as tall as the original ones? They don’t seem to stick out as much
Doing install now, about to take the washers out, buttons do not stick out as far as I'd like.

Could you create a tutorial using the RG353V, please? I need to understand how it works.
Do you offer this service for customers?
Can't wait to get my PSX buttoons and turn my Odin 2 into a portable PS2
The PlayStation portal we all wanted.
When ordering do you send the washers for odin 2 since on the site you only have odin 1 labeled on your website?
The new version of these buttons do not require the washers.
Do you sell button rubber?
What’s all the songs name in the video

I didnt receive the metal rings... what the...
they are no longers needed
Do your start button sits lower than the select button after installing the ps buttons on odin 2?
Yes start is flush with device. I am not a fan of this. Going to check now without the washers.
Just removed the washers. Start button is back to normal, and the buttons sit higher, not by a lot, but better.
@DBiggerz I took the washers off and it just like the normal buttons. Fits great now. Wonder why the washers was recommended??
