    Jumper pin 5 and 7 of switch to disable start/stop. Easy to do just have to remove the 2 panels for access.

      The S trim combined with the Technology package, giving you the Safety Shield 360 suite of features, is a terrific bang for your buck, modern yet simple, low price high value midsized pickup truck!

    I don't know why these are so hard to find around here. Some of us just want a basic truck like this. Same problem with the Titan.

    • @autofairnissan9980
      @autofairnissan9980  Год назад

      New vehicle availability is still very limited, and manufacturers are producing mostly the most popular trims and packages right now, unfortunately, that means that many of the more basic trims are in the lowest supply of all. If you are looking to purchase one of these trucks, I welcome you to reach out to me directly, even if you are not local I would be happy to help you with a purchase. My email is dmarchand@autofairnissan.com. Thanks for your comment!

      Dealership in my city only stocks top pro4x. Here in Canada i was shocked to learn they basically only sell 55k$ trucks because the factories only pump out top trim models they going for top dollar now rather than be affordable like they used to be

    So appreciate you doing this base trim. Thinking about upgrading my weekend fishing truck for retirement. Wife doesn't think I should be off back roads in my 03 f150. It's not a daily so it lasted a while. But I certainly don't want anything fancy. This truck is priced right.

      It's important to see more than just the high-end top models, most of us are buying something in the middle and others don't want any of the extras, just a basic, dependable vehicle! Something like this would be a great replacement for your 03 F-150, everything you need, nothing you don't!

    With construction debris to the landfill several times barely tell your towing in tow mode I have nothing to say negative about this truck 2 years so far no problems at all

    Manual windows, locks, 6spd and delete the jump seats and belts. Remove all of the computer junk, bring back the key. That would be a taco work truck slayer. Add a lock rear in the 4x2 for giggles.

    • @autofairnissan9980
      @autofairnissan9980  9 месяцев назад

      At this time, there are no "official" means of disabling the auto stop/start. Most people who prefer to disable the function will incorporate pressing the disable button when they start the vehicle, and it becomes second nature. We cannot suggest making aftermarket or unapproved modifications to your vehicle to disable it, but if you were to get one and have it modified, that would be your prerogative ;)

      @@autofairnissan9980 It would be nice if it was a configurable option and would remember the owner's preference. I am assuming there must be a government mandate for the feature?

    • @autofairnissan9980
      @autofairnissan9980  9 месяцев назад

      @@Mike.D.843 Agreed! Choice is almost always better than no choice! It isn't a mandated feature, but governmental regulations are now impacting manufacturers regarding the idle start/stop features, because the feature reduces the claimed annual CO2 emission tonnage and helps hit better average fuel economy numbers. It isn't a perfect answer to fuel economy and emissions, but it does provide some breathing room while new technology is researched, developed, and tested.

    What about the quality of the King Cab 4 speaker sound system? Is it worth it to pay the extra for the Crew Cap and FENDER system?

    • @autofairnissan9980
      @autofairnissan9980  9 месяцев назад +1

      The Fender system is certainly a nice upgrade on the Crew Cab models, especially in providing a more crisp, clean sound at higher volumes, but if the King Cab better fits your needs, it may be a better decision to skip the Fender system and either use the factory sound (which is going to perform perfectly fine) or upgrade after purchasing the truck. Hopefully this helps!

      All King Cabs come with the 6' bed. Crew cab models all come with a 5' bed aside from the specific trim called "SV LWB" which stands for "Long Wheel Base" which is indicative of a long bed.

      They did not forget to paint, that area is just not color matched on any of them. In SV and Pro-4X models, there is extra insulation / sound deadening covering the firewall that is not present on the S.
