They chose to make it their career right? So if that’s the case then they need to have some own personal accountability to manage their break times. I mean she could have said “hey how long do I have?” And not just put the blame on the person who has to stand outside of the restroom and make sure no rules are being broken. Also some players rush into the bathroom and then afterwards go into the locker room to make sure to be back in time. Think of it like you going to your break, you’d supervisor isn’t going manage your time, you are-and if you’re late coming back from break they will penalize you-especially if it’s a PAID break. She didn't know how long she even was in the bathroom. And tennis players can't just run outside the bathroom to ask how much time they have left of that break. It's the duty of officials to inform tennis players how much time they have left of that specific bathroom break. In this case tennis officials failed to do so, and it caused both Sara Sorribes Tormo and Ana Bogdan to return on the court very late. In such heat is impossible to keep track of time. She’s responsible to follow any new rule changes, she’s responsible for any new ban list of drugs…it’s her career. That means when she goes on break she’s responsible for her time management. She should have asked how much time is left and not been depending on someone else to let her know. I played tennis in high school and in college. I knew exactly how much time was allowed for bathroom breaks and I promise you that I never once was penalized due to being over the time limit. It’s her fault. She can’t put the blame all on the other person. It’s called accountability and responsibility…learn those 2 words fully today. And the person was standing right outside the door!! She didn’t have to go find them to ask how much time was left!! Don’t be absurd-your hubris is pathetic. In my opinion, in cases like the first one the umpire's decision is right. At service speed it's almost impossible to be affected by any call even if it comes a few splits of seconds before the raquet touches the ball. The placement, the motion etc have already been decided and a call could not affect any of those at such short period of time. I think it should be a general rule that in service, points should be replayed only if the receiver puts the ball back in.
