    Try this simple homemade lamb Karahi with a hint of saffron flavour this Bakra Eid!Succulent and juicy, tender cubes of bone-in lamb, slow cooked in a rich, aromatic and flavourful gravy! The lamb is cooked in a Karahi or wok along with fried onions, tomatoes, ginger-garlic and a blend of simple spices, and is perfect for those special occasions! Serve with naan or roti
    LAMB KARAHI WITH SAFFRON
    2 large onions, sliced
    1/2 cup oil
    1/4 cup ghee
    1 & 1/2 kg Lamb, cut into chunks
    1 tbsp ginger & garlic paste
    1 tbsp salt (or as per taste)
    1 tbsp chilli powder
    1 & 1/2 tbsp kashmiri masala
    1 tsp tumeric powder
    1 tsp red chilli flakes
    1 tbsp freshly ground cumin
    1 tbsp freshly ground coriander seeds
    1 tbsp garam masala
    3 pieces cinnamon
    3 green cardamom
    4 whole cloves
    1 tsp cumin seeds
    2 medium tomatoes, grated
    2 tbsp tomato paste
    1 tbsp lemon juice
    3/4 cup plain yoghurt / curd
    1/4 cup mint, chopped
    1/4 cup coriander, chopped
    2 medium green chillies
    1/2 tsp saffron strands
    Garnish - coriander leaves
