Have been watching your videos for 8 month. Just as I retired - was interested in improving my overall health now that I had ‘free time’ to look after myself. I’ve lost weight that I needed to lose, my blood sugar is now down from diabetic range to lower than pre-diabetes and I’m working on it to ensure it stays there. Also, lowered my blood pressure … and medications the doctor prescribed. Working on getting off all medications … My goal is to be medication free prior to age 71. I’m turning 70 in a few months - so that’s my year plan. Thanks for all the suggestions and information. This is stuff we should have learned in school .. during ‘health’ classes. AND health classes should be mandatory in high school .. It’s hard to change the world with all its ’bad habits’. Thanks for sharing with us your time and knowledge. God bless you!

    what I currently take.
Morning: one omega 3 capsule with vitamin E in it.
D3+K2 in one casule + one glas with magnesium since mag + d3+k2 work best together and lastly my vitamin B complex with all the B vitamins.
Evening natural alma Vitamin c + Iron
Before sleep another capsule omega 3 + second time magnesium but I wait and dont take iron and mag together although there is no clear evidence they influence each other negatively.
What I might try is taking d3+k2+mag right before sleep and take iron and vitamin c earlier during the day.
The only thing I would never take in the evening is my vitamin b complex. For those who feel tired and drained during the day this really changed it for me, it gives more energy which makes sense since it also takes action in the metabolsim and crabs cycle (procuding energy ATP) I dont see a reason or benefit taking it at night.
I might add one or two other things but thats how I currently take it and I never take them on an empty stomach but thats just a personal thing.

I take the D3/K2 with Mg because this combo seems to help me sleep. So many of your videos have lifesaving information Dr. Berg. Thank you!! As a video suggestion how about more on sarcopenia. All of us who live long enough will deal with life-threatening frailty. Prior to my father’s death, at 79 he was stuck in his tub all day because he didn’t realize he wasn’t strong enough to pull himself out. So ideas on how to stay strong might interest your fans. I’ve started using your Keto Essentials Aminos for the leucine. To save muscle I am also taking creatine, lifting weights, and have decreased fat a bit to increase protein intake. Thinking about going from OMAD to TMAD for optimal protein absorption. In any event, thank you for all your help.

@@curiouscat3384 Thanks for the reply. Sarcopenia is more involved than that. It starts around 40 and (in my understanding) has a lot to do with increased protein need. Super helpful. In the morning I take a glass of water with apple cider vinegar and lemon water mixed with some psyllium husks and inulin powder all in the single large glass of water. Then I have blueberries and an avocado and a carrot and celery stalk. Then I take 15 supplements along with 20 superfoods powders in a glass with carrot juice, V8 juice, green smoothie, and kombacha. Then I have a handful of blanched almonds. With that routine each morning I am born again and feel fantastic within an hour of waking up no matter what I did the night before. All of those healthy foods and supplements and powders keeps me in perfect health even as a senior and I am still slim. There was time that I eat a lot without gaining weights, probably because my body was still lacking everything (I practiced fasting for about 10 years for my brain can be focused on my work). Dr Berg notes:
There are two types of vitamins: water-soluble vitamins and fat-soluble vitamins. Fat-soluble vitamins can be absorbed better if taken with fat or before a meal. But, if you’re fasting, you can take vitamins whenever.
    Cod liver oil:
Cod liver oil is a great source of fat-soluble vitamins, and you can consume cod liver oil anytime. However, it may be best not to take it right before bed.
    Vitamin E:
Vitamin E should be taken in the form of tocotrienols and is great to take with meals.
    Phytonutrients:
Many phytonutrients are fat soluble, and this is why it’s great to have olive oil on your salad because it will help extract more phytonutrients. Take phytonutrient supplements and wheatgrass juice with a meal for better extraction.
    Betaine hydrochloride:
Betaine hydrochloride should be taken right before a meal.
    Digestive enzymes:
Digestive enzymes should be taken before a meal.
Bile salts or products with bile:
Bile salts can be better taken right after a meal.
What to take on an empty stomach:
    • TUDCA
    • Activated charcoal
    • Bentonite clay
    • Individual amino acids
    • Trace minerals
    What to take before bed:
    • Calcium
    • Magnesium
    • Probiotics
    • Vitamin D3
    • Vitamin B1
    • Detox herbs
    • Apple cider vinegar
What to take in the morning

    • Stimulatory herbs

I researched it and it said I needed B. I take one at night and the dreams stopped. So I'm taking what I feel I need for a specific purpose.

If you're concerned take D3 late afternoon, 3 or 4ish. Remember to take K2 with D3 or get a combo formula. D3 needs Magnesium, but doesn't need to be taken at the same time, just take magnesium regularly.

They said it was just fat which I'm at a "normal" weight. I had an ultra sound, a colonoscopy, and endoscopy and all was fine. One of the digestive doctors wanted to run all kinds of tests on me as well. Thankfully I had found your videos during this time and Tudca is what helped, I'm feeling much better and bulge is almost gone!!! I have been doing mostly Keto and intermediate fasting also. Because I live in Canada I had to wait almost 6 hours in the ER and then I didn’t get much for help. I have been searching on the internet to find out what could be the cause of this problem and I found nothing. I felt really alone and then I randomly saw your comment on this video and it was such a blessing to know I wasn’t the only one experiencing this. I am going to try tudca :) Can I ask if you did anything else to help? I cut out carbs and that seems to help a lot.

      @svv3244 Год назад +1

@@adventuresofkatekat Geez, so sorry you've had that experience. I have had it hurt really bad at times (was usually after eating) but never went to ER. It would get hard during those times. One of my friends said one of her friends has same syptoms but they didn't know what it was as her doctors weren't helpful either. I've never been able to find much info or anyone else with this to talk to. So I just tried to cut carbs, eat better, usually one meal a day. I've fasted 48 hours a couple times but Ima do that more often as I think it really has helped. I think that Tudca definitely helped, was like 'the icing on the cake', lol. That is when my bulge finally was feeling better & getting smaller. I try to remember to take it with meals and also take apple cider vinegar in the mornings and before my meal. I also massage that area to try to get things moving. I also try to walk at least 20 minutes a day, more if things permit. What I think mine is, the tube going into my pancreas was getting clogged from all the years of eating carbs & then I sit a lot working from home. Ironically, one of the doctors said my pancreas looked really great when he looked at the ultra sound. When you look for a good tudca, make sure it doesn't have magnesium stearate or silicone dioxide & not from ch!na. The brand I got is from the UK, Sharoaid, advanced tudca. I will be also trying castor oil packs to see if that helps too. I've suffered for over a year & a half & finally been felling better. I really hope this helps you. Best of luck to you. You'll have to update me sometime. :)
