I’m not into posting on social media so this is going to stretch me out of my comfort zone. I appreciate your tips. They were helpful. I think I’m going to be watching the rest of your videos!☺️

    As a small content creator for RUclips, I know how hard it is to gain traction at the beginning. Like many of you guys, I was tired of creating quality content day after day and getting only a few hundred views on my best days. Buying views was my next move. I have never regretted it. Not only I get quality views for pennies, but those views also affect the algorithm and sometimes my videos go viral and get 4-5 times the initial amount of views. I use Famester for now, it works miracles!

  • @TyraThompsonOfficial
    @TyraThompsonOfficial 2 года назад +5

    The advice on the niche was SPOT ON!! I grew quickly by hyper-niching and now that I want to switch up and expand my content, I’m having a harder time than if I would have stayed a little more broad and grown at a slightly slower pace.

  • @misssprissy

This one is so important for creators, I've followed many RUclipsrs throughout the years and unfollowed them later on, as their content no longer serves me any purpose and they haven't evolved with that information, where I still follow some RUclipsrs and creators who have evolved and this has helped me love their channel even more!

    Hi Erin! Great tips. You have been growing consistently. Congrats!! I started in 2012, QUIT, and started again January 2020. My only regret is I quit!! I would upload and not release. There’s no telling where I would be now if I had not quit. I’m full stream now since 2020 and loving the growth. I love RUclips and I’m an older, over 50, RUclipsr now. I have been uploading at least one or two a week, sometimes three, and it’s working. Much continued success and Happy New Year!

    Question - so about uploading more. What are your thoughts on uploading using the different RUclips features? I do one standard video a week, one short and tryyying to add in one live video to boost that number up without needing to edit more and more.

    Hey, I'm a micro RUclipsr (lol). My biggest issues when it comes to creating WAS feeling like I had to niche down, but this video reassured me. But now my main issues are 1. Knowing what content to make 2. What my brand is/who my audience is and 3. Marketing myself on other platforms. How did you become comfortable and insightful with these?

    Hi Erin! What a great video to come across! My YT channel is 4 months old and I feel like I’m just starting to get the hang of filming etc. A couple weeks ago I changed the format when I moved from art / Procreate / KDP tutorials to an art/ city guide series… and I’m having SUCH fun making these videos! Loved everything you said here! So inspiring and helpful 🙏🏻 Liking and Subscribing!

    Hi Erin, I have been planning and preparing my RUclips Channel for about two years now, probably going on three. I have the basic essentials needed concerning equipment + persona + desire + target audience; however, it has been extremely difficult for me to carve out time to learn how to edit. Although I won’t allow my amateur editing skills hinder me from posting content, I know I will run into a brick wall if I commit to starting it today, or this week, or next month. The thing is, I am ready to begin and my desires are aligned. I just need help finding a way to build a schedule that works for me with my RUclips endeavors joining the mix! - hope you read this & LOVE you + your content!

    • @terrahs2807
      @terrahs2807 2 года назад

      I have this fear too, that I wont have time to get it all done since I still have a day job. My plan is to knock out like 4-8 videos on a Saturday and then Edit them on a Sunday. I will use a scheduler to release the edited videos and then on weekdays after work I will do small things for a couple hours like respond to messages, write down ideas, research trends, analyze my analytics and other maintenance things. I'm hoping that this schedule will work for me. Now to just get the courage to start 😳

    Thank you for this great video Erin! My husband and I started our channel in April of 2021, and the quality of the videos are good, as well as audience feedback and support, but the growth is not as fast as I expected. We post consistently every week, and just started trying shorts in addition to the longer videos. The editing takes so much time, I can’t swing more than one a week with my job and toddler. We are considering paying an editing service so can can produce videos faster. We are definitely committed. We know certain types of channels grow faster than others, so we are wondering if the niche just requires more time. Yes, we are interested in another video discussing target audience vs. niche. And is the audience a little broader with a family channel?
