Thank you so much for this information! I have two podcasts that I plan on starting. I was injured and won’t be returning to work for at least a year. I am taking the opportunity to do what I’ve been putting off for two years. I have scripts for an episode each week for two years. Each episode is 45-ish minutes. Thank you for also providing alternate options besides Fiverr for graphics. I will relook into that. Now I just have to set up a filming room and it’s off to the races. Again, thank you very much.
That's great! Wishing you a smooth setup and a successful launch for your podcasts. 😊 - Hazel, PV Team
i really needed this video
Glad you found it here - Hazel, PV Team
This is a great pace to speak and I really like the fast pace of the speaking in this video quite a lot. I think most podcasts talk way too slow. We need to encourage people to speak more efficiently and faster especially if they’re foreign (for American 🇺🇸 Intellectuals)
Glad you enjoyed the pacing Amanda. I also love that we can speed up or slow down RUclips videos when necessary. 😀
Thanks Amanda! Yep I think he nailed the delivery pace and content 👍
Justin.
Thanks Justin
You're welcome, George - Hazel, PV Team
Thank you thank you thank you
You're welcome - Hazel, PV Team
Thanks for sharing. If the podcast is audio from another platform that you're importing in, I don't see any issues using a static image. There are times it's relaxing just listening to something without videos.
Great information. This may be a mid term goal for me.
Thanks, good luck - Hazel, PV Team
What do we gain from setting something as 'podcast' versus uploading it as a regular video? Does it get shown to more people? Is it promoted or searched for differently? Both formats being videos, with narration...
Love the comprehensive no-nonsense explanation, thank you!
They’re fundamentally a different type of content. Podcasts can appear in different places for people looking for them, and even in the RUclips music app.
Bro got the six60 tshirt on! Awesome kiwi band!
How do you get your graphics on your videos? what program do you use ...looks great
Thanks

If I do I live podcast you recommend just leaving it there after the live or make it member only after going live, and reposting edited?
I looked in the description for links to share the podcast out to Spotify, etc. I couldn't find them. What am I missing?
full watched new friend thanks for sharing
Nice, great to have you here 😊 - Hazel, PV Team
@PrimalVideo thank you my new friend
Awesome
Thanks - Hazel, PV Team
aye !
Quick question on the gear. I've been hosting an audio-only podcast for a few months. I have the Blue Yeti with headphones and pop filter on the mic. I don't quite get how to transition to video podcasting with that same set up... looks a little cumbersome with the big headphones and a big pop filter in front of my face. Do I need a totally different set up or lose the pop-filter and headphones and live with it? Thanks for your quick take on this.
Great questions! Regarding headphones, do you need them to hear guests or music or anything? If not you could just remove them. If you do need them, you can switch to something smaller - I sometimes use my AirPods or the headset that came with my phone. You can also just wear your big headphones.
The pop filter is a more important consideration because it is odd if it covers your entire mouth. I used to have a HUGE pop filter until a guest laughed at me for how big it was. 😁 I ended up ordering a smaller one - I'll bet you could do the same.
Alternatively you could try lowering the microphone or putting slightly to the side and see if it still sounds okay.
I’m already a RUclips partner. Can I just upload the episode like a normal video/vlog & then put it under the podcast playlist category. Instead of going the lap top route you went? I don’t currently have a lap top.
question: how do i record without xbox gaming bar im not getting it cuz i dont wanna get hacked
Also my thumbnail won't download, I got it as square as possible but measurements would help
I don't see podcasts anywhere, do I maybe have to change my channel settings?

Is this impossible on mobile?
Greetings. I am totally blind, and I would like to upload my podcast. If you know how, please let me know. Thank you.
i see podcasts that aren't made by the creator or.are copied, how do they get it?
Thank you brother. God bless you in Jesus's Name!!!

I am starting a RUclips channel and wondering if I can "kill two birds with one stone" by using the video as a podcast as well. Is it necessary to create the video on my channel and then duplicate the process saving the video as a podcast on RUclips? Is the main difference the description and thumbnail, then sharing the video with a podcast host? I'm trying to create a simple process to potentially reach more people.
I cant open
What’s the advantage in uploading as a regular video or as a podcast?
The big one is that podcasts get distributed to the RUclips Music app.
I don’t get why you do not recommend having static image? When I listen podcast, I don’t watch the video, otherwise I’ll straight be looking for videos 😂
Other than that, this is a great tutorial!!
how do I start up a RUclips business account
Hey, hope this resource helps support.google.com/youtube/answer/1646861?hl=en - Hazel, PV Team
For someone starting out on RUclips, are there advantages to uploading their videos to a podcast versus to a channel and make playlists? I am trying to help someone figure out why their channel name doesn’t appear under the video of their podcast and I have learnt today that podcasts on RUclips is a “thing” so I wonder if they are channel-less now they created a podcast? And why not just have videos? It is this video ruclips.net/video/HiI9J1ZgjoE/видео.html Thank you very much!
