Started my channel in 2018 and for 5 years straight I was stuck at 24 subs barely getting any views, I was pretty much dead in the water, 2023 I really tapped into my creativity, had some dope ideas, got better at my craft, then started seeing growth, going into 2024 I steadily grew to around 400 subs, now heading into 2025 i’m currently at 1.2k subs and monetized, it’s time for us smaller channels to win

Great story, and I am happy to see you are satisfied. Being a RUclipsr is very similar to running your own business. You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. And when the growth becomes real, you can consider hiring people to help you run your channel more efficiently. The most difficult part is starting and growing of course, but consistency and hard work (with a little bit of help from Fame - ster of course) will always pay off at the end.

I started my RUclips channel in August, then I decided last month to do a daily vlog of my life and everything I’m doing (from my future business to my expertise in dogs). Really easy edit, filmed with the first generation of OSMO Action. And the results blows my mind. Right now I’ve almost 15k views, 650 watched hours, and 70 subscribers gained in the last few weeks. I’m not trying to promote my channel because it’s in Italian. I’m just saying to all the small channel: keep pushing!! Upload and don’t give up!

I just checked out your video and you are very refreshing! I didn’t think your sound quality was terrible, even though it’s great to improve on sound -I wouldn’t have ever thought of yours as terrible. Your first video is a lot higher quality than most first videos I have seen!
The only thing I noticed that you could maybe improve on is your camera angle. It seems a bit too low. And that you’re more to the side rather than the center. And maybe the camera is a bit too close. It could maybe be helpful to watch videos that give tips on this :) but it’s such a wonderful video for your first video! I’m really grateful you made it

All I use is a smartphone, but I do have a $7.50 wireless microphone that I got off ebay. Made a huge difference in sound quality. I'll be waiting for that video to come out! ❤❤
Jason, I've been at it for 18 grueling months, but I finally broke through the GRIND with success on my channel with Shorts and Long-form over the past 3 months, got monetized and the ad sense is pretty substantial especially once you figure out how to make a Short go viral over 1M views and of course long form as well. I hear you loud and clear on the other ways of making money and the passive income can be a real money maker! Great advice, BUT I STILL THINK PEOPLE UNDER ESTIMATE SHORTS!

@@YungRenzo yes unfortunately. We may just be doing this wrong, but we are very far from qualifying for the partnership program. Most of our videos are shorts. To qualify to make money from ads on shorts, we would need 10 million views in 90 days. We’re slightly under 1 million, which puts us very far from monetizing.

Law of attraction..... the universe provides the how, you just focus on the feeling of the goal that you want to achieve. Speak it into existence. Because that creates the frequency shift that creates your reality.
Subscribers, in my opinion, do matter if you want to work with brands. When I had 50k subs nobody would work with me. As soon as I passed 150k subs my email started getting flooded with requests. I now work with tons of brands and affiliate companies all around the USA. I can't keep up with all the work as there are products being delivered to my house 3-4 days out of each week. At this point I need to hire a team. Keep uploading and be consistent. It WILL grow your channel if you do.

so many cooking channels dont speak or show themselves and they do well. alot of people actually prefer if the creator isnt speaking or in the camera & those channels have subs in the millions. so, even tho you prefer her to speak, its not necessary for growth. she should create whatever content she feels best making. @@MeersMedia
I've seen channels ignore the comments suggestions for years, because it's THEIR channel and they do things THEIR way (even when certain suggestions repeat). Then after years sometime, they finally try the suggestions and indeed gain subs exponentially. Rach.....take their advice. They TRULY wish you the best.

Great story, and I am happy to see you are satisfied. Being a RUclipsr is very similar to running your own business. You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. And when the growth becomes real, you can consider hiring people to help you run your channel more efficiently. The most difficult part is starting and growing of course, but consistency and hard work (with a little bit of help from Fame - ster of course) will always pay off at the end.

I started my RUclips channel in August, then I decided last month to do a daily vlog of my life and everything I’m doing (from my future business to my expertise in dogs).
Really easy edit, filmed with the first generation of OSMO Action. And the results blows my mind. Right now I’ve almost 15k views, 650 watched hours, and 70 subscribers gained in the last few weeks.
I’m not trying to promote my channel because it’s in Italian.
I’m just saying to all the small channel: keep pushing!! Upload and don’t give up!

I’ve had my RUclips channel for a very long time, but finally just a few months ago, made a commitment to share the knowledge that I have accumulated over the last 20 years in fitness. It’s such a relief when you talk about how we don’t need fancy cameras, etc. People just want to learn from us. 2025 is going to be a big year!!

I just needed to start and rip the band aid. Anyway, I like that you're seeing small creators on your home page, we need your eyes too!
I just checked out your video and you are very refreshing! I didn’t think your sound quality was terrible, even though it’s great to improve on sound -I wouldn’t have ever thought of yours as terrible. Your first video is a lot higher quality than most first videos I have seen!
The only thing I noticed that you could maybe improve on is your camera angle. It seems a bit too low. And that you’re more to the side rather than the center. And maybe the camera is a bit too close. It could maybe be helpful to watch videos that give tips on this :) but it’s such a wonderful video for your first video! I’m really grateful you made it

My mom and I just started a reselling business this week and I had the thought "maybe we should make videos of us getting started?" we both kind of laughed though and thought no one would want to watch amateurs with no professional equipment! Watching your video changed my mind though. I'm going to try to make a video next week. Thank you! :)
All I use is a smartphone, but I do have a $7.50 wireless microphone that I got off ebay. Made a huge difference in sound quality. I'll be waiting for that video to come out! ❤❤

Jason, I've been at it for 18 grueling months, but I finally broke through the GRIND with success on my channel with Shorts and Long-form over the past 3 months, got monetized and the ad sense is pretty substantial especially once you figure out how to make a Short go viral over 1M views and of course long form as well. I hear you loud and clear on the other ways of making money and the passive income can be a real money maker! Great advice, BUT I STILL THINK PEOPLE UNDER ESTIMATE SHORTS!

@@YungRenzo yes unfortunately. We may just be doing this wrong, but we are very far from qualifying for the partnership program. Most of our videos are shorts. To qualify to make money from ads on shorts, we would need 10 million views in 90 days. We’re slightly under 1 million, which puts us very far from monetizing.

Subscribers, in my opinion, do matter if you want to work with brands. When I had 50k subs nobody would work with me. As soon as I passed 150k subs my email started getting flooded with requests. I now work with tons of brands and affiliate companies all around the USA. I can't keep up with all the work as there are products being delivered to my house 3-4 days out of each week. At this point I need to hire a team. Keep uploading and be consistent. It WILL grow your channel if you do.

Hey, you would get so many views and engagement if you start putting yourself front of the camera and talk.
The quality of the food and video are great. The whole time I was watching it I got bored in the middle of it bc no one is talking in the video
so many cooking channels dont speak or show themselves and they do well. alot of people actually prefer if the creator isnt speaking or in the camera & those channels have subs in the millions. so, even tho you prefer her to speak, its not necessary for growth. she should create whatever content she feels best making. @@MeersMedia
I've seen channels ignore the comments suggestions for years, because it's THEIR channel and they do things THEIR way (even when certain suggestions repeat). Then after years sometime, they finally try the suggestions and indeed gain subs exponentially. Rach.....take their advice. They TRULY wish you the best.

I just started and posted my first video on 27th Jan, just 3 days ago! and wishing for the best in future... I think at first it's just important to not to give up and just start. I listen to my gut that this is gonna make my life different and I think you can do too.
Decided to really take RUclips seriously and started fresh Nov 19th, I made a challenge to myself to post 1 video a day to train on my consistency with the goal of making each video better than my last (in the sense of entertainment & value). Let’s see how this plays out, we are 18 days in and I wish nothing but the best for all the small creators out here!
