Thank you this is invaluable advice. Thanks for sharing. Lots of amazing tips. My favourite part was all about making the journey enjoyable and fun, otherwise it won’t sustain you long term. Thank you Ali.
Every upload is a seed you plant in your garden. Some might not grow at all, and some will blossom into a massive tree. ❤ call that a beautiful metaphor
Awesome video as always. I am small RUclipsr, and I think that for small channels the most important thing is to get good presence from the beginning. If you are not popular, people won't care even if you have the best videos and the best content on platform. I am not beginner anymore, but I know how hard it can be (and honestly if I haven't used a lot of Famester, I would have quit a long time ago. It made everything much easier for me, especially getting to 1000 subs and view hours).
I just recently came upon your videos this week and love your content. I’ve been toying around the idea of starting my own channel, and you inspired me to just do it, but I’m not going to lie, the steps to getting started when you’re alone on this journey are overwhelming!Thank you!
I started my channel last week, this morning at 7am,I uploaded my fifth one, even though I have no subscriber yet, it's ok, I see my improvement everyday, I know it will be a long journey, as long as my video bring value to people, one day they will see them, and I appreciate the process. Thanks Ali.
Congrats on the marriage Ali! I remember when you did a cross video with Izzy on her and your channel, and thinking "There's something going on between these two..." Congrats to both of you.
When Muslims who weren’t born or raised here come here they don’t realise the mistake they are making and only come to regret it later in life when they realise they have lost everything and their identity and don’t recognise the children in front of them.
@@user-li9yq2ws7s Lol. I am Muslim. A Muslim man can marry a non Muslim to the best of my knowledge. (If this is the problem you have). I hate that I am saying this but move on.
I’ve been watching your videos and following your journey the past few years, passively absorbing all the knowledge that you share generously. 2 months ago I put my foot down and started creating consistently. I finally met the monetising requirement, grew to 8k subs in just two months, started making money and gathering a really cool community. It’s been such a rewarding journey. Thanks for all that you do Ali! Learned heaps from you and living the dream because of your work. Congrats on your marriage too!
Your point about being a perfectionist really hits ahah. For the longest time ive never dared to share what i did to others due to feeling that its not good enough/ not the best/ not as good as whats out there's. And feeling this way really did made me not dare to start at all.
Very valuable advice here Ali! I took away key points to apply to my channel, the most crucial one being getting clear on your "unique value proposition". I disregarded the overthinking that would usually paralyze me, and paused your video, quickly went into my channel bio, and updated it to get absolutely clear on my unique value proposition. Just a little adjustment in a few mins gave me so much clarity! So thank you for the video! PS: I couldn't help but think, "thank God I'm not the only one who rants on and on in my videos :)". The only thing I need to do now is go at double the speed to match Ali!
Ali, I’m 18 and trying to grow a channel around self improvement. I’ve read your book. This video (especially the ending) was incredibly helpful and resonated so much with me, thank you !
Watched every second of this video. Thank you, Ali. P.S. Ali is a psychic, he knows the different types of people dropping off at different timestamps. 😮

I aspire to have a channel that will get 2700+ likes and 55 comments an hour after I post it. Thanks for the great advice Ali. I always appreciate your videos and style of teaching. Keep being amazing :)
I love your tip to re-record the intro at the end of your session! I agree that I experience a lot of resistance at the beginning, but once I’ve recorded a whole episode re-doing the intro comes so much more naturally.
Amazing practical tips, I love the examples and will certainly improve on packaging and first 30 sec. I've tried filming the promise, hook, at the end of filming the video and it feels more easy and also have more energy as well. Thank you for your tips and your work Ali and congratulations on your marriage with Izzy, sending both of you soo many blessings🥰
To everyone starting their RUclips journey, I say don’t ever give up. Let’s grow together ❤️ thank you so much for all the helpful tips on this video 🥰
Ali - your content is gold! I’m learning so much from you. Even as someone with a video background, RUclips is a whole different beast. I love the Netflix analogy - it’s so true that quality matters way more today than it did before.
I have uploaded 4 videos so far, and yes, there is ZERO view, sometimes it hurts no matter how much I prepared for this result. But your video and encouragement is really helpful, thank you!❤
Having fun is key. Switch up what you post until it just feels like a hobby and you feel blessed that you don’t have to pay for it (lets keep the gear out in the beginning) and what helped me the most is having interesting titles!!! They carry your channel :) good luck everyone!!!

Point #2. That’s exactly what happened to me on my last video. Was overthinking the opening hook. And took take after take after take of the opening. Eventually filmed the entire video. And then went back to the beginning and reshot the opening hook! I’ll follow Ali’s tip of filming the opening at the end.

Great video in many ways. One thing that stuck for me was the ”don’t make it another prison”. In the beginning I tried to create one video per week, but coming from a recent burnout I quickly realized it wasn’t sustainable for me. Now I’m doing 1 video every second week instead and have time to relax and find inspiration in between - and I let my creative flow guide me! ❤️🔥

I found the video at 9:42 very hard to watch because of the audio: the voice over is roomy and hard-panned right, the music is unbalanced towards the the left part of the stereo field. Yet I can see how much effort has gone into the story telling and editing, which is why has done well. Probably I’m also over-sensitive to bad audio
