I thought that was Chick Corea. Hearing some of my favorite jazz guitar player. Joe P. and George are up their. Chet Atkins as well. And some others. I think I'll hear some Les Paul next. Maybe"Somewhere over the Rainbow". He does a great rendition. Or Herb Ellis.
Was stationed at Kadena AB Okinawa Japan 1976-1979. EVERY single man in EVERY room in the barracks had this album. Walking back from a shower you would hear it fade in and out as you went past the doors.

This performance will go down in the annals of humanity. So great that they recorded this on sound and vision in such great quality. Its a piece of history
I've watched this at least two dozen times and it never ceases to crack me up seeing Chick Corea playing all those conservative keyboard licks and chords on one of the biggest crossover Jazz instrumentals of the mid-1970s. Whenever I watch this I'm always on edge expecting Chick to do one of his outside, angular, harmonic Chick-isms...and it never happens. Too funny...LOL!!!
This song just puts me back in a time where things weren't quite as complicated... I was 22 and life was free and easy and people liked each other! March 2022, Oh how we've learned nothing from war and here we go again 😔 I walk softly on this earth, in the light of God's name 🙏❤🌻

@JohnnieRhodes You know his keyboard player plays clav in just about every live version of this song? It's filling in for the rhythm guitar on the original track. I think it adds a lot of funk and groove to it, and Benson is obviously loving it, and totally grooving with him.
Man!!I really love just how much George really get's into his Group while playing as he seem's to be just giving it all up to them and NOT the audience and (ofcourse i know he knows that they are indeed important but he seems to let the PR work all that out ) really gives it up for his players especially bro.Chick here and ofcourse Chick wantin' to give it right back, too!!Brilliant..i have had the pleasure to get to know BOTH these amazingly humble & dow to earth Cats!

One word brilliant.
