I have some blank Vixi sets in two styles, with the thumb blanks still being too narrow, so I position those in the centre instead of at the base) that I paint myself, which I've come to terms with now, until I regularly have the cashflow to get gel manis once a month....

I do them right before bed. That way they have all night without any stress in the glue portion.

Is there a better way to paint them different colors or just buy the color you want?
not everyone has the money to buy all the pretty colors and experimental colors, these are an easy way to figure out what color and shape you like :)

1 day but glue will last 3_4 weeks
It can last up to two weeks actually - if u don't pull on them or do smth to them
mine lasted 2 weeks and I washed dishes every day baths, etc, and didn't do anything in particular, not this brand though, not sure about this one
I find the tabs too thick, leaving gaps for water & dirt etc.
I would like to ask, can l resize the length of stick on nails?

Probably soak off with acetone.
Something I would like to say is that make sure you use glue if you want it long lasting do not wash your hands
