Im really late on this train but these organisation and self care vids have literally made such a difference to my life. They've helped me get out of a depression funk and actually start taking care of myself and my home again! You're amazing and I'm so glad I found your inspirational videos!!
A dental tool pick works even better (faster) than the floss technique (although that is a good one). I bought mine at CVS in the dental area. It came with one of those little mouth mirrors. It has just the right thinness and curve to get between the nail and your nail bed. I don't even use anything but a good soak in dishwashing liquid to soften up the glue, and this thing pops them right off without damage! BTW ... I learned the application initially from an earlier video Brittany did on this, and have used her technique ever since. I use the GEL regular superglue from Dollar Tree to apply them; it has way better control and less run-off! No difference in ingredient!
Just did mine using this method last night! They look sooo good. Can't wait to see how long they last so hopefully I did them right! Brittany is the GOAT😤♥️ *Update- 3 weeks in and they are still perfect. 🙌🏽. Doing them over this weekend because of new growth only.

TheMelrose1961 How long do the nails stay on before they pop? It’s seems like the clear polish would cause the artificial nail to not bond to the natural nail.
I've been doing my nails exactly like this at home for 20 years. I have thin nails so I use a medium grit file to rough them up first. They typically last 15-20 days. And then I let them "breathe" for 5-7 days before applying again. I get so many compliments all the time. Great video, as always.
You don’t actually need to let your nails breathe, I’m a nail tech and there is no such thing as letting your nails breathe. You can give them a break but your nails are better when they have things on them because it protects them from daily stuff you do.
Maybe "breathe" isnt the right word but when my nails come off, they are damaged because they are so thin. So I definitely need to give them a break before roughing them up and reapplying or else I'd eventually have no nails. When I dont have nails on, I apply nail treatment nightly to strengthen them.

Your nails are GORGEOUS!! Youve inspired me so i did it & today is 2 weeks & theyre still on!! One vid said to do a clear base coat (2 coats) & then roughen entire surface - i like this method as im not roughing up my actual nail. I will try it next time...
I love the Kiss acrylic nails... Mine usually stay on a good two weeks before I change them because they've grown out....I don't put glue on my nail just in the kiss I did nails for 25 yrs...these are so much easier
You really look very nice and put together.First time when I saw you channel I though wow look at that woman she probably spends her whole day in beauty salons and Pilates,I thought that you're just the kind of lady who likes to go pamper herself all the time, which is nice don't get me wrong but just not for someone like me who likes privacy and not to be touched by strangers much. But after I started following you I saw how easy going person you are and I love that.Your hacks videos make my day and I've tried multiple of them and it works.Thank you for always bringing us great solutions!

I'm definitely going to try this out! I'm going back in school soon and my nails need some work, but I can't go out and get them done. After seeing all these comments I'm really excited!! I'll come back and update soon...
Try Impress Nails! I have also tried EVERYTHING and these are by far the best! They're $6 at Walmart or Walgreens and a little more on Amazon. NO GLUE NEEDED! They last three weeks and they don't pop off ever!! Changed my life! You should do a review! ♡♡
I use the impress nails too, the type that are pre-glued. They do not damage your nails I don’t care what anybody says but super glue type nail glue’s will damage your nails
Loved the video!! I can't believe that you have to explain why you want to look your best all the time. Like why do people even ask these questions? It definitely does make one feel better about themselves. I used to spend so much time in the morning doing hair, make-up, picking out an outfit and all of the accessories to go with it like scarves and jewelry. I would take a selfie of myself every day. Stay who you are!

I have terrible weak nails and thank you for sharing an inexspensive way to have pretty nails at an affordable price and readily available through Amazon. I live in a small community where shopping is limited.
Hi Brittany, you come up with the best ideas. I'm so glad to see this new version of your nails and that would be perfect for the holidays. You shouldn't have to explain why you do things for yourself(you did that very kindly, I think it's important and saving money at the same time is really commendable :) Hugs xoxo
Well! I'm impressed! You look VERY well put together! The furniture, classical background music and, who could not see THAT RING?!! You just look like you spend all day shopping at Tiffany's, lunching and supporting charities! Good for you! Enjoy! 🥂🍾
I’ve been doing this for about 3 weeks, since I saw your video. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have been able to have nice nails without shelling out so much money, and they look identical to what you get at a salon. I use Kiss French manicure from Dollar General ($3.50). As they pop off (hitting something), I just reapply the same nail or get a new one. The one problem I seem to have is trying to get the nail turned around and put on my real nail, without getting glue everywhere. I have glued fingers together several times (ouch getting them apart). But I’ll learn.....now to try eyelashes!
I've been using these for years, I'm a mom of 3 and i just dont have the extra money to get nails from the salon all the time. With experience I've gotten them to last and these are the only ones that have not damaged my nails. Ive had acrylic, gel, polygel etc, all caused my nails to have damage and thin out.. not press on. I inly use the nail glue with them never the sticky tabs. I get so many compliments on my nails all the tome most people can't tell they are press on and are suprised when i tell them so. You can do it ladies and it saves so much money
Brittany I have been using your method since your last video, and swear by it! One thing you did mention in the last video you did, was that you do them at night so you can avoid the water. That is what I do I will do them at night before I go to sleep and they will last up to 3 weeks! I have always loved the coffin style, and I will getting these with the glitter!! perfect for the holidays coming up! Thats for the updated tutorial! Great as always.
these are by far the best glue nails ive seen ...they actually look real ...but i have natural nails n paint gels ....i were spending a fortune on salon ..then swapped to a beautician comin to my house ...then thought sod this ill paint my own gels ...so got full set up with gelish ...still learning to paint neat lol ...great tips 😊
I love that this is back on trend. I have been doing these since I was 11. I contacted all these years. I occasionally got acrylics, but this is a niche cheaper option. I can make mine last 2 weeks. I was occasionally made fun of for using these, but now it the trendy thing to use 🤷🏼♀️ I love these nails!! You did great
So cool that this can be done in the comfort of home for an affordable price in minimal time! I’ve been doing something similar to this, but now with your tips I’m excited to have the quality look last me an extra 2 weeks! Thanks for doing this video 😀
I think your technique is right on the money girl! I've done those kiss nails just like this and they lasted me 3 weeks! So I know first hand this works! I wish I could do my own hair, if I knew how , I so would do it! 😀
Thank u so much for this. They look GREAT! Also glad you left the amazon links. Those nails are 🔥 I'm getting a set. I need to do some taking care of me. This will do 🙃
I’ve been doing my own nails for more than 10 years.. I receive so many compliments and honestly it takes me 10 minutes and I agree with you 100%.. I totally agree with the importance of filing and that’s truly the secret.. I’m going to try your new nails.. Thanks .. I too wear kiss nails they’re the best... have a great day!!!
A tip for you is to wear gloves while doing the dishes as it keeps your nails out of the water which soften the adhesiveness of the glue and your nails may stay on longer
I recently revisited press on nails a few weeks ago. I hadn’t tried them since childhood...they’ve come a long way!! Yours look gorgeous. Thanks for sharing these tips! ✨✨

I'm a long time glue on nail user and i use the Kiss unfinished blank nails and then use polish on them. My method for keeping them as long as 2-3 weeks is very similar to yours however I go one step further after using the nail file to rough up the surface of the nail beds I use rubbing alcohol to completely remove the dust and oil off them. This helps the glue adhere better and therefore your new nails last longer.
They really look so natural and pretty!!! This is also a great method if you're trying to stop biting your nails... That's what I did although didn't do it as nicely; like you say, "details matter"! Thanks so much and take care! ❤️
I found your channel a few weeks ago and came across your other nail video and after years of acrylics and gel manicures I did them myself with Press on’s following your instructions and LOVE them! I’m going to try your updated recommendations now too! Thank you! ❤️

Thank you so much Brittany for the tip on shaping the bottom part of the artificial nail! I never thought of doing this 😊
I've used press on nails in the past and they never lasted!! Thank you for the great advice! Im a new mom and don't have the time or money to go to the salon every two weeks!! Loveeee this 💙💙💙💙💙💙
I did this nail hack and so far I’ve only had one nail come off and it’s been a week and half. They literally don’t come off.
But... one did
Thanks for this video! I having been using press on nails for many years. I love the kiss brand. Fits my nails perfectly. Thin and durable and look so professional. Your a beautiful person, inside and out, no apology necessary! ❤️
I’ve always been nervous to try stick on nails. I just worry that they’ll pop off! You made it look easy to do so I’m going to give it a try 🤞🏻
Same. Those nails are perfection
Love this! I just recently started using the Kiss press on nails just to try something new since I haven’t gone to a salon in years to get mine done & im loving them. Thanks for a lot of great tips. Just ordered the nail kit that you shared & might try the glue & nails next time. 😊❤️

You just got yourself a subscriber ma'am still watching, i love the way you explain every bit of the teachings and with this you will remain my online teacher ma. Thanks and well done
Sandra Okomayin Me too
I’ve been wanting to do my own nails for a while now.. so thank you for this!!
And the Crime Junkie podcast!! 😍
Yes they are great
I use the impress nails too, the type that are pre-glued. They do not damage your nails I don’t care what anybody says but super glue type nail glue’s will damage your nails
@@Randilynn66 some people have no problem with them but those glues dissolve my nails!
Yes, they are the best if you apply them right and don't get them wet during the first hour after application.
Are the Impress made by kiss? What color options do they come in ? I want to go pick some up today !
I loved the first time you did this, and I love it even more now! Thanks for giving us an update. Those nails are gorgeous!
What is the name of the nail glue and press on nails that she gets on Amazon?
Tried it! Lasted over 3 weeks taking advice from your viewers below. Thanks for your video
“The health code” podcast by Sarah’s Day with her significant other is my favorite. They’re SO POSITIVE!!🥰 Sarah’s Day is one of my favorite RUclips channels too! (Great health, fitness, and mom videos as well!)
I also love looking my best everyday. I have more time to finesse my look now and it’s making me feel great. I love that you are sharing your tips. 💕
This could not have been posted at a better time. My nails are so bitten and destroyed and I’m tired of getting them done all the time!
I was just talking about needing mine done because they're destroyed from being bitten!!
Well! I'm impressed! You look VERY well put together! The furniture, classical background music and, who could not see THAT RING?!! You just look like you spend all day shopping at Tiffany's, lunching and supporting charities! Good for you! Enjoy! 🥂🍾
They look absolutely gorgeous!! Thank you for sharing all your tips ❤️
I personally use the money I save not doing my nails at the salon to get pedicures at the salon instead lol
I follow this Tutorial now for more than one year, it never failed me. Thank you!
Great tutorial!!! You are like me, always trying to improve but not spending to much $🤑 🙌🏼💪🏼👏🏻
The Greatest information that I have heard yet.
Thank You!
I clicked on my notifications so fast!!! I’ve been waiting for this video
Same!
They look so cute! Will definitely be trying.
My favorite podcast is: Dave Ramsey
I don't use false nails but would like to tell you I love the turquoise cushions and picture on your wall in livingroom. Very pretty.
Girl! You do you . It’s ok to be beautiful and look your best always 💕
So awesome and they look so good! Definitely going to try some of your tips! 😊
I’m a mail carrier so I don’t like to spend money on my nails and I have a one year old 😬 I’m gonna try these nails
Does anyone have any short nail recommendations on amazon
I dont think she good at it that the way i feel in my heart but that her way of doing it
these are by far the best glue nails ive seen ...they actually look real ...but i have natural nails n paint gels ....i were spending a fortune on salon ..then swapped to a beautician comin to my house ...then thought sod this ill paint my own gels ...so got full set up with gelish ...still learning to paint neat lol ...great tips 😊
This was a great DIY!
If you like true crime, Crime Junkie is my favorite podcast!

Shelby Nunez I was going to tell her Crime Junkie too! Love it!
I was gonna suggest that too!! ❤
That’s what I said too!! Love crime junkie!
Crime Junkie is one of my faves !
Just subscribed! Excited to listen thanks for the tip
You did great
Her ring tho 😍✨
With the shelter in place orders,I was going crazy about my nails ! This is the new way to try ! I cant wait !
Long awaited video!!! Thank you! I’ve been waiting for this video forever!! ❤️❤️
So cool that this can be done in the comfort of home for an affordable price in minimal time! I’ve been doing something similar to this, but now with your tips I’m excited to have the quality look last me an extra 2 weeks! Thanks for doing this video 😀
Thanks, I got some good tips that I haven't tried myself. 😄
I think your technique is right on the money girl! I've done those kiss nails just like this and they lasted me 3 weeks! So I know first hand this works! I wish I could do my own hair, if I knew how , I so would do it! 😀
Thank you devoting time to help us!!
I'm so glad you still have this video up! Thank you!
Thank you for showing this I gave up on doing my nails havin g 3 kids Changing diapers constantly washing dishes and cleaning so I'm gonna try this
Same, girl, same :)
I don't have any kids and I still struggle to keep my nails done lol when that time comes I'll be ready though.

solarlola 9 some do some don’t. It’s more for me I feel like I have my life together when my nails are done.
Aww😍 May God continue to bless you guys !
Very helpful tips. Its healthy to do these things for ourselves. We deserve it too. Thanks again
Love this! I’m so excited to try it out! And I enjoy listening to different ones depending on my mood. “All things Internet’s podcast” “The TryPod” “Off the pill” “Kalyn’s Coffee Talk” “The Secret to Success”
Omg when I’m older I hope I’m as pretty as you!😂💕
Oof
They really look so natural and pretty!!! This is also a great method if you're trying to stop biting your nails... That's what I did although didn't do it as nicely; like you say, "details matter"! Thanks so much and take care! ❤️
Who else wants Brittany to do their nails now?😍😍😍
I found your channel a few weeks ago and came across your other nail video and after years of acrylics and gel manicures I did them myself with Press on’s following your instructions and LOVE them! I’m going to try your updated recommendations now too! Thank you! ❤️
I have these and u love them. I have the glue too. It haven't used them yet. I use gorilla gel glue lol works wonderful. Week or more.
I am getting ready to put nails on and this will help me a lot. You described it very well. Thank you so much.
Love this!! Podcast suggestion: The People’s Scientist!
This is one of the best videos I have found since quarantine and I really needed this 😩❤️
