How To Program Hardie HR 6100 Irrigation Controller

This is a quick video tutorial on how to program the Hardie Irrigation HR 6100 irrigation controller. This is an older controller but was well built and many homeowners still utilize it to this day.

We still have this one! Made in 1995. I followed the directions on the card insert and on step 4, when it says to set Today at day 1,2,3 etc (ex. Tuesday is 3) the rocker won’t work. But everything else works. Do I need this to set the auto setting? Or is this a malfunction? We might just try manual.

I had this and just tried to manually watering zone one. I did everything correct but no water comes out, I checked the water vault which is opened all the way, strange whats going on...

Hello, if possible hook up a multimeter and ensure the controller is operating properly, sending 24 volts to the valve when the zone is on. The controller may have gone bad and needs to be replaced.
