It's such a classic and always a hit at the table! Apple crumble is such a tasty simple dessert that gives you that warm comforting feeling inside. I make this often sometimes adding wild blackberries in with the apple, gooseberry and strawberry is another that works well.
Fantastic recipes and collaborations it's great to be introduced to more great cooks and bakers.

I made this for my international housemates and it was a hit! They were literally scrapping the pan to get most of it. I used small oats (as I couldn't find the large ones) and added some walnuts. It's so simple and delicious. Thanks Donal!

Hi Donal , I live in Wakefield in Yorkshire which is the centre of the rhubarb triangle. There are forcing sheds all around this area, apparently you can actually hear the rhubarb growing. So I’m going to try your delicious looking recipe with apples but I’m looking forward to early spring next year when I’ll try it with freshly picked rhubarb. My dad is from county Mayo so I know all about Irish cooking too .

Donal Skehan they were in love with it all. My 3 year old is an EXTREMELY picky eater and he had 2 big servings of the lamb stew. And the apple crumble was a hit that my boyfriend refused to let me finish it. He brought it to work with him and even his coworkers fell in love. Definitely going to be a tradition in our house from now on!
