There's so many of these vids now. Think it would be funny if someone made one and finished it by saying/showing..... no I really can't play har har. Maybe this is the first😅

The staff I have dealt with in a music store are beyond patient and helpful. I'm not a beginner, but me and accomplished guitarist should not be used in the same sentence. Hats off to you guys and gals at the store!
So dope, bro, like you totally blew the minds of all those actual guitar players, and those dudes who work in a guitar shop were like, wow we've never heard anything like this.. sick, bruh, you like totally crushed it. You must have had to sign a lot of autographs that day. So dope.
Yes, just a bro making a video indeed. If he lost that lil arrogant smirk and high and mighty way he carries himself, people would say he plays well. Humility isn’t young peoples strong suits, Me included. But this guy, geez idk
OMG! Dude! you totally tricked those sales guys! They though you were a beginner, then you totally shredded and blew their minds! They are going to be talking about this and telling customers in this store for a long time! Those guys must have called their friends and girlfriends and told them what just happened in the store. Man I wish I was there for this, that was truly epic! Nicely done! You gotta go into other music stores and do the same thing and record it and put it on RUclips! And there I was thinking you were another Tina S and at any moment you were going to let rip. Compliments to the shop staff who were so accomodating in your fantasy and must have seen and heard such performances so many times before.
I would use this video as a motivation to broaden your skills, start with 3 notes per string major scale because those are pretty versatile in terms of riffing or shredding. And as for gimmicks, learn some legato phrases, they sound almost as impressive as sweeping with half the difficulty.
They probably get 2 people a week coming into the store to show off, the store attendant kept his cool and didn't do what he normally dose and show this kid how to really play the guitar. I love it though a regular kid with poor guitar skills showing off, but he at least thinks he is the beeneez.

@@michaelmarron8441 Maybe. Today, people are used to hearing 13 year olds playing Van Halen, or better. When I was a teenager, I used to impress people imitating Page, Hendrix and Clapton. Good premise. I think for it to be truly effective though, you'd actually have to be in the "very good" column. Don't get me wrong - you're okay - but there's room for improvement. Try a campfire instead of a guitar store next time out.
As someone who's been playing on and off for three years, I could not play any of these songs. Different people have different abilities, and some people's beginner looks like other people's decades. Sometimes people want to have fun, and to shame them for doing so is kinda lame.
Ok, so what’s dopey about this video is that he goes into GC claiming he’s a novice and then starts to riff. The camera should have been on the salesman when he sees his skills.

Old guy advice you didn't ask for but I'm giving it anyway: humility is a musician's best tool. That said, at which point does said 'shredding' start?
Im still waiting for him to stop with the beginner stuff and do some shredding, and I've watched the whole video.
This is such a unique idea for a video! I don’t think anyone has EVER thought about this before.

Where is the guy playing SRV in Walmart on the toy guitar?
