It didn't surprise me when you mentioned wanting to do this, cause you are just a kind hearted soul. Glad Dad and I were able to tag along on this very festive occasion. The video turned out great. To be honest I always thought Steve was kinda out there and dorky but doing this for kids is awesome. As someone who has played guitar for 22 years I wish I could afford to do this for the younger musicians coming up today. And for that Steve, you got a new subscriber.

This is the definition of EPIC !!! This is a life impacting event that these kids will remember for the rest of their lives. Seeing and meeting their guitar hero would be a story in itself. That guitar hero buying them the instrument they picked out is NEXT LEVEL!!! One day, in their golden years, they will be sitting there and someone will ask " Grandpa where did you get that???...." That was SO COOL to watch! Talk about "Christmas"!! You made those kids' YEAR! I was watching that count. At a grand a guitar, that was pretty damn generous! If only there were more people like that, this would be an entirely different world to live in. The saying goes "if you think you don't belong in this world, you were meant to make it better" and that's exactly what you did here!
This is one of the coolest vids I've seen. What a good example. Everyone of those kids is probably learning new riffs on those guitars this weekend. Such a contrast from most other videos. Well done man. It almost redeems this dude from being such a nerd.
I love the fact you had them play riffs by genuine guitar legends such as lil Wayne. Who knows how much that one riff will stick with that boy and inspire him for years to come. What a class act.

One of the great things about playing an instrument is that it actually costs to play and it involves a certain amount of sacrifice. As a young kid I spent hours driving mall music store employees crazy playing all those dumb guitars. But those hours made me work hard so I could buy my own gear. By the time I was 18 I had really good gear. Better than most people my age. When you are 10-15 years old and someone buys you a professional (or fairly close to it) piece of equipment that is a very, very special thing. And kids that love guitar know it. You can see it in their eyes. They all either have junk or nothing. And Stevie gave them all something they’ll never forget. I hope people will remember Stevie when/if he ever needs anything from us.

The level of "inspirational" went through the roof! What you've done here might seem like nothing to some people, but it actually is more important than what non musicians can imagine.
