    Mine just came in today so I was looking around hoping someone had an unboxing and first impressions and found this. Thank you for putting this together. I've never owned one before but installing it into a 2020 gladiator. It was good to see what's in the box as I haven't even opened it yet and how it went. Thanks!

      Did you get the single drawer or the double drawer?

    Curious if you know the dimensions of the center space above the decked between the gullwing bins? Wondering what size dog kennel could fit in there?

    Dude what happened to jumping on it!? I was hoping to see that test. The new variant just seems cheaper looking. Even on the full sized one

      @@WesAlexander it does look cheaper but after using it for months now I can say it’s very well built. I like it a lot.

    Is it a nuisance having to move things off the tailgate when opening the single drawer? With the first gen, you can at-least move things to the side if you need to pull one of the drawers.

      You know I thought the same thing but after using it for some time I haven’t really noticed that being an issue. The extra space of one big drawer is worth it.

    I have been considering this but it bums me the heck out the dropped the payload by 1000lbs i use my gladiator to haul a lot of things and that just puts a worry in my brain

      I understand that. I love the system and how it makes packing gear so much better. Thanks for watching.

    But is it lighter than the original? The original was 300lbs? - Thanks for the video.

      I believe it’s stated as 177lbs. I should have weighed it. My initial reaction on this kit was not good. Lol. But after putting the 1st one together I like it a lot. The extra storage space it offers over the previous model is insane. Only time will tell if it will hold up as well. Thanks for watching.

      Do you happen to know how much space between the top of the decked system and your smart cap? I’m thinking about using it as a sleeping platform in a pinch…building out my gladiator as well

    • @leemen
      @leemen  9 месяцев назад

      @@dagosettjr 33 inches to cap back window opening. Not quite enough room for my arb fridge on a slide. Thanks for watching.
