- Regular space shuttle missions have been done to death in KSP, so I thought I'd give my one a little twist... ;)

I just want to be clear here, everyone. This video was heavily modded and I just wanted to showcase the lovely "Cormorant Aeronology" and "Alien Space Programs" mods. Hopefully from the fact that the KSC is on Laythe you can tell this wasn't stock, but I hope you can appreciate the cinematography with this one- I just wanted to create something that looked stunning :)

Ps. The buran is better, I recommend trying that shuttle for actual missions, as its allot better and can do more,

Having worked on updating Alien Space Programs, I know Kopernicus doesn't permit more than one KSC without a lot of problems. Was the Level 3 KSC added back to 'Bin' with a manual PQS entry, or the homeworld switched back to Kerbin mid-transit, or was the landing video spliced in from an unmodified system?
I switched the home-world settings mid-transit :)

Enterprise (only for testing), Columbia (Burned up), Challenger (Exploded), Discovery, Atlantis, and Endeavour.
æ œ I believe that enterprise flew once in a crewed sts mission, sts 135-134 I think

Keith Green It is modded. The mod is called Cormorant Aeronology and it's brilliant. It adds in parts to make a stockalike Shuttle, and another mod adds in parts for a concept Shuttle that never got built.

The space shuttle you are using says Atlantis, but it is actually Columbia, Columbia being the only orbiter with the Infrared Leeside Temperature Sensing (SILTS) tail pod.
Everbody is talking about the MECO in the beginning, and even I was confused at it. I like the background music, so I gave it a listen. Guess what? The voices are all in the video. It is not hazard-ish fault.
I search a mod for colonisation of Kerbal, and I found this mod THANK YOU HAZARD-ISH

Edit: Also what mod adds the black tiles to the wings and belly of the shuttle?
The main engines get fuel from the EFT and could not operate once the tank is detached and the oms pods wouldn't have enough fuel to get to kerbin. A more realistic way of doing this is keep the EFT and have a station refuel the tank once it's fuel is depleted. Not trying to be mean (cause I love your work) but just though I could point it out. :)
Next challenge, launch a full shuttle stack as a payload from Kerbin, land it intact on Laythe, THEN launch the shuttle back from there XD

Honestly I never understood why shuttle just cannot get a fuel tank into it's cargo bay and just ditch it after doing a moon flyby or something
Because you re-entered Kerbin from interplanetary space backwards, I presume heating levels were adjusted in the save file?
