  • Hi! This video is taken in the last week of June, showcasing the last batch of roses in its first flushes. Featuring new roses, Bathsheba and Vanessa Bell. Then the 2-3 yr older ones namely; carding Mill, Moonlight in Paris, crocus and Princess Alexandra of Kent. Showing their bloom performance when the weather is at high 70’s. Hope you like this video.
I am a Dental Assistant, a cat momma, and love gardening. I am close to Canada border and my climate experience would attest that my zone is dependent to what’s going on in Canada 😂, so My zone is more of 7b a lot of times than 8A. I specially love English romantic roses, English style of gardening, meaning balance clean structural gardening designs,
and of course houseplants! Drop me questions and I will share you my personal journey tips on growing them. Enjoy watching and don’t forget to subscribe. Have a great day folks!

Your Carding Mill is so much prettier, and far more interesting, than DA's photos! Wow, I am definitely going to order that for next year. My own-root Moonlight in Paris is super healthy and a flowering machine in my hot, dry climate. It seems a lot of people have had disease issues with it, though.

Oh I know! I chuckle myself how I didn’t get Carding Mill right away. It is a great rose over all. My Moonlight is grafted I wonder if having an own root of her will perform better for me. Thank you for sharing!

Your roses are so beautiful. Especially P Alexandra! Wow! Mine is slow to bloom and darker pink in zone 9b/CA. I think Bathsheba is an improved version of Princess Margarita with a good scent too. I like it so much, I added one more this year. It also grows fast with good rebloom. I prefer Crocus than Litchfield Angel which didn't bloom much for me. My Moonlight in Paris is coated with mildews very often though it blooms all the time! Yours roses are so gorgeous, healthy, with lots of blooms! TY so much for taking the time to do the video. Sooo glad to see your "Green Thumb" at work again. :)

Oh hi Melissa! Oh wow, it’s nice to hear from you again! PAOK is really the big winner in my garden , big many blooms, repeats well, healthy bush, amazing smell and with 4 days vase life! I will try to root it and plant in a shadier spot just so si can harvest tons of blooms. Your crocus doesn’t get mildew?
