So great to see so many varieties here, very helpful for helping me decide which to ore-order. Going with Gentle Hermoine. I like Sceptr’d Isle too but it’s already sold out where I’m getting it. Thanks for including the chapters in the video too!
Gentle Hermione is very beautiful with its fully double, perfectly formed flowers. My Scepter'd Isle is particularly beautiful, but the petals drop quickly.
Both Lady Emma Hamilton and Munstead Wood are exquisite choices! 🌹 Their fragrances are truly exceptional. They make such a perfect pair in any garden ❤️
Unfortunately some of these have been retired in the UK including Abraham Darby, Jude the Obscure and William Shakespeare it seems - possibly others too.
there are good healthier replacements tho - Dannahue instead of Jude, Gabriel Oak instead of Munstead wood and Sheakspeare, and Abraham Derby can be replaced by Penelope lively or Elizabeth in terms of fragrance strength. Penelope Lively has probably the strongest and most delicious complex scent out of all DA roses.
