I use Mayflower Curry Sauce all the time but I would recommend making up a batch of the sauce using the whole packet. You can then portion , freeze and use as necessary. Doing it this way is much easier and in my view makes a much better curry.

That medium Chinese sauce is very tasty and authentic. When oh when is someone going to bring out a Indian Madrass authentic sauce... Have been searching and trying different ones for years but to no avail.

That looks really tasty. Since finding this sauce I can have something different from the takeaway, as I always used to choose a curry. I find if I make the sauce in a sauce pan a few hours before it tastes even better. A little added star anise powder is good too.
Can't beat the Mayflower sauce mix (I get mine at Farmfoods), I whisk it up in a jug before I add it to the pan. Goes well with the frozen mayflower special rice. Nice and easy dinner and at reasonable cost. Great to use this to make up a small amount of curry sauce as well for your chips.
Hi I'm sure u can get the mayflower curry mix in Iceland too , we like it and sometimes I use 5% beef mince and do the same as u have this with peas and mushrooms , our son loves a little coconut cream in his lol sounds odd but does wrk somehow 👍

I think when you've cooked your own curry it's a lot more satisfying than buying it down the Chinese... I'm going to buy the curry sauce mixed mayflower... I'm going to go for onions.. king prawns ..peas... Chips but not curly wurly chips...
Oh yes I nearly forgot I would add a plain omelette to the ingredients which would give you that chicken egg fu yung vibe which I love. ✌❤ Bob.
I add a few drops of hot sauce to the Mayflower which adds that extra zing, and by a few drops, I mean no more than four for two people ✌❤ Bob

Instead of water use chicken stock its much better. Lots of people swear by mayflower it is good

Having seen the many reviews for the Mayflower Chinese Sauce I thought I would give it a try. Chicken curry is my go to Chinese takeaway but I have to say this was just as good if not better and much healthier and cheaper 👍
