    • @suzanneemerson9787
      @suzanneemerson9787 2 года назад

Senna is addictive. Over time, you’ll need more and more to get the same results. Eventually, it will paralyze your colon and not work at all, and then you’ll be stuck because NOTHING will work. Your intestinal muscle will lose its peristalsis.
DO NOT USE SENNA OR CASCARA.
Instead, use an osmotic laxative until you can get your bowels working correctly, through proper diet, adequate hydration, correct amount of soluble and insoluble fiber, acupressure and abdominal massage.

What helped more than the magnesium was probiotics. Check and see what works for you and if you're having stomach issues, even more reason to talk to you doctor. But if I really need to clear out my intestines and feel clean, you can’t beat Oxy Powder, the ozonated magnesium from Global Healing. For me it does cause temporary joint pain and bloating but I take it with ginger lemon fennel tea and that helps the bloating. The Cascara caused a lot of intestinal discomfort and honestly just didn’t work very well for me. I wouldn’t dare take a high dose.

He didn’t mention that you shouldn’t eat raw vegetables if you’re constipated and should have a liquid to semi soft food diet when having constipation. Dr.B has an ideology that partially at odds with Ayurveda so he never truly mentions it lol I am a student of Ayurveda so I can see where he’s choosing to leave stuff out.

Good tips from the video see below. Wondering about mentioning Water, Lemon Water, daily exercise- movement, yoga. walking for 10 minutes , 10 minutes after you eat not sitting too much, 4-6 oz low carb organic green vegetable juice, eat a few (no more than 3) plums fresh or dried ( NOT Often!- to high in sugars and carbs), fennel seed or fennel tea again NOT Often) ...avoiding dehydrating substances like caffeine and alcohol.
Dr. Eric Berg DC shared in this video
    The best natural laxatives:
    1. Senna
    2. Cascara sagrada
    3. Black psyllium (swells with water)
    4. Castor oil
    5. Magnesium
    6. Vegetables (fermented)
    7. Probiotics
I personally also use cream of tartar 1 teaspoon in a full glass of water for a supplemental potassium occasionally (1-2 times a week) to help with constipation.
Often our diets are too low in (K) ie potassium.

It’s really depressing and uncomfortable 😣. But I’m gonna keep at the celery juice at least for another 2 weeks to see if anything changes. I 🙏🏻 that it does help😩

Stevie B Check what else you’re eating. When I started the celery juice I was also taking in a lot of protein & was getting a lot of an pains. Through further reading discovered the protein was causing the problem & I stopped it & started eating more fresh fruits & veg. You may still have to eliminate some foods for the full benefits of the celery juice. After I got into a groove I was going normally for 1st time in whole life. Take care & be well.
