    Just tried it today, however i didn't use a juicer, i used the bullet, cut up 2 raw beets in small pieces mixed with cranberry juice & made it into a smoothie, drank a small glass & voila tonight it work a lot better then laxatives, thank you ! For your video

    I tried castor oil and WOW! It took they next day for it to work , I took 1 tbsp. and before it happened I had some stomach cramps, nothing to bad but shortly after the cramps I ran to the bathroom and it completely cleaned me out! I felt so much better!:) I will try the beets, natural laxative!! Thank you.

    Not particularly for laxative purposes but I have been blending fresh beet juice with frozen blueberries and raspberries, using it as the base liquid, makes a nice little smoothie and takes away the earthiness of plain beet juice 🥳✌🏻🙌 sounds weird but it works 😉

    This works everytime. So true, if you're not use to having this you might first think you have blood in your poop. Prune juice with olive oil works for me as well. I'm suddenly in the mood for a beets salad

    This is wonderful! I REALLY NEED TO DETOXIFY and flush my system. I have been on a sugar, starch, carb kick and I feel so yucky!!!!
    I healed myself back in 2012 by juicing. I need to do it again as my knees are bad and I am just tired and sore all the time. I know it's because I haven't been eating right.
    Time to get disciplined! I did it once. I know I can do it again!!!!!

    Thank you for including the link explaining who should not consume beets. So many videos only give the benefits of a food or supplement but fail to mention side effects or potential problems. It's definitely not a one size fits all. I love your channel ❤

    Yes! I’ve been making a hemoglobin helper juice (still building up my hemoglobin level since chemo treatments in 2018), with beets, citrus, carrots, and celery and I drink this a 2-3 times per week. It’s so delicious and feels really good in my body 💃🏾

    thank you Kristina, i have been having chemo for the last 5 months, and it has caused me to be constipated so much so that i didnt go for five weeks. the doctor gave me so many drugs to help, but i only seemed to get more conspitated. so coming across your channel has helped me no end, im also going to go completly plant based raw as much as i possibly can. I would love to know what are the best things to eat or juice to help me get stronger whist going though chemo. many thank and love Nicole x

    I like carrots and beets.
    When i first started juicing i ordered a very large straight beet juice and had to run home,wheyyy. Works better than laxatives, and yes, safer.

    wow 14 yrs raw that is awesome and you look amazing. i am a nutritarian and the idea is to put nutritionally dense whole foods into your body to promote health and longevity. it is mostly raw as well but we do eat allot of beans and some whole grains which are cooked and have never had constipation either. We also love yoga and saunas.

    I juice carrots, celery, whole beet, parsley, add lemon & apple (or eat the apple separate) and this also works. Celery is also a natural way to move your bowls. Beets can also be used to dye clothing (lots of videos on you tube for dying clothing with beets, turmeric, greens, any natural element).

    I love beet juice too with carrot and apple.
    Another good one is flaxseed crushed or grounded like coffee.
    You can put it in a smoothie or foods like muffins. Calm is another good one. It is magnesium. Start slow like you would with beets.

Also one teaspoon Himalayan Pink salt in 8 oz warm water will do. 84 trace minerals in this salt is so healthy for the body. You should have to "Go" two to 3 times and be done.     Fun to watch your sharing, Kristina. Yes, beets are high in iron and a great liver cleanser and builder. As we cleanse the liver, which is our 'oil filter', we naturally feel more alive and fresher, as evidenced by your dancing playfully after drinking your beet juice. Lemons as you know are also great for the liver, also boosting our positivity.

    Carob or Carob Molasses are also very good. In the 1950s there were not enough medications for constipation specially where I used to live in overseas; in that time when a patient had a surgery, and the patient have constipation after the surgery., the nurses used to give the patient one tablespoon of CAROB Molasses every morning.     Someone told me to juice beets, carrots and apples. It’s so good and really sweet! 😋 I also juice beets and use the juice for a sweetener in my smoothies so good! Or I’ll cut up beets with greens and other fruit to make a smoothie.

    I love sugar beets. I usually mix it with either orange, apple juice or pineapple. You have to have an acquired taste for it.

    I started drinking funugreek and i have to say I use the bathroom right after. I'm normally extremely constipated ,painfully constipated! This has help a lot. Note I started drinking it for a different reason.
    I've done vet drinks and it did help but I used lots of garlic and i think garlic helps.

    Eating a green salad for me pushes everything through quite easily. Spinach, tomatoes, lettuce, pumpkin seeds, and shredded cabbage. Out everything goes!😂

    Very powerful...because beets are one of my favorite tastes I drank too much too quickly and became extremely nauseous and debilitated for hours. I now have a greater respect for the power of raw foods. I slow roast my beets in small cubes and it works wonderfully for my elimination which us my weakest body system.

    I recently discovered that wheat bran (added to my homemeade bread) makes an insane difference (and I already eat a ton of fiber). The first day I noticed was during a 21k run. Man I got scared.

    I LOVVVE beet juice and the energy nitric oxide I get from them before I head for the gym!

    Laxatives to me are like cigarettes. I’ve been on and off the habit of using them. I would take them in tea form. I depended on laxative teas to keep my digestive system going. The first time I recovered from chronic laxative abuse I went semi raw vegan which naturally got my digestion under control naturally and my mental health in the right place. Animal products definitely make me constipated.

      @@chocobeau2026 unless you’re one of those super-rare individuals who is allergic to water, you’re likely not drinking enough water or you have another problem you are not aware of
      Saying water doesn’t work for the human body is like saying gasoline fuel doesn’t work for a gasoline car.
      MANY people are not drinking enough water. Then some try to drink a lot all at one time. You can’t do that. You have to be consistently drinking throughout the day.

    My grandma used to give all of us beets syrup. Yes! She made somekind of syrup with the beets and we were obligated to drink one big spoonful in the a.m. Lawwwd Jesus! All the grandkinds would drink it. Me on the other hand, I would start gagging the minute I see her grabbing the bottle 😫.

    That's like my grandma recipe.
    Also, dry apricots are great. Wash 10-15 pieces (enough for me, im size small) soak with boiled water for 30mins to a few hours. Doesnt really matter, and eat. Big helper when i need to take a course of iron. I don't play with those tho. Only if I need it.

    Beets are great for most people, no good if you have low or, normal low blood pressure. I like beets and it’s benefits, specially to clean the liver.

    Smoothies are magic, mix bananas, blueberries, spinach leaves, plant milk. Next day all will be fine.

    Hi Kristina. Thank you for your video. I am so surprised that so many people who work at the bread stores don't know what caraway seeds are. I ask for caraway rye bread and they don't know. Here is my favourite sandwich. Two slices of caraway rye bread with mayo, mustard, cucumber, lettuce, cilantro and smoked honey ham. Oh and as I eat it I have the sandwich in one hand and a cucumber in the other hand because I LOVE CUCUMBER SO MUCH !😇

    Not a raw recipe, but you can just make a black bean vegeterian soup. Add carrots, tomatoes, onion, garlic, salt, pepper to taste. Delicious.
