That's really serious and I would definitely seek out and work with a functional medicine doctor. Meanwhile, I would avoid all grains/gluten and also all dairy and, of course, sugars, processed foods, junk food, etc. Focus on easy to digest foods, high quality foods, anti-inflammatory foods. Chew food very well. To detox bowels: Mag07 (ozonated magnesium) works wonders to relieve constipation and cleanse/detox the bowels. No cramping and non-habit forming.
Many people are taking Zn to help the immune system/thyroid which competes with Cu. Cu helps the connective tissues/gut lining. It is not just gluten/Lyme hurting the gut lining, but also low Cu. Orthobiotic probiotic before a meal may help and HCl and enzymes with meals. If the liver/kidneys shut down then bile may come out to help bowel movements. Taurine may help make bile. Hidden gluten in common and may destroy the gut lining. Gluten is in wheat/barley/rye...oats/corn/rice. Rice is low in gluten. Wild rice has no gluten. Nuts not sold in the shell/meat basting/some spices/air/lotions/food with a label/gluten free food may have hidden gluten. LDN may help, but maybe too strong and then people take it in the day when it is weaker. Slippery elm/glutamine/Aloe/Vit A/green tea and more may help heal the gut lining once gluten is 100% stopped.

@@alisoncote-rolvink8312 they do teledoc. He mentioned it. Good luck.
Constipation tells me that I need to switch to a different brand of motor oil.
BileX has helped me Greatly
Certainly industrially processed refined grain, legume and seed oils will aggravate every disorder.
You are brilliant and so informative - thank you so much
How can you tell when Flax seed oil has gone rancid?????
The taste. You should always keep it in the fridge.
Flax / linseed oil is estrogenic so men should avoid it.
What about skim milk ? What other than milk..i love milk...and i did a lot of anti biotics for teeth. I.have bad teeth and have no gum bones. I don't know where to start.. no teeth and no gums is major.
Is castor oil good in this regard.
Does genetics play a part?
Dad, grandma, aunties cousins everyone on dads side 'got it'.
No matter how many apples, pears and prunes, & foods with roughage, that is eaten, nothing works.
How do you treat constipation naturally without 15:16 the laxitives and pills if its gentically past down?
Your family might all be food intolerant (e.g. grains/ gluten and/or dairy).
Does the amount you eat affect the times you poo. I eat very little..theres no way i can go to the bathroom 2times a day
If it was me I would take Thiamine aka B1 through a high quality non-gmo Brewer's Yeast powder and special fiber called Sunfiber and I would drink purified water throughout the day in the amount of 1 gallon/128 fluid ounces.
1) How are your bowels ?
2) Do you go once per day, once per week or once per month ? (Permissive question)
3) Do you strain to start or finish ?
Does Suana help detox 🤔
I used to have really normal and healthy bowel movements I mostly follow a paleo diet but suddenly out of nowhere began experiencing chronic constipation for like a month ?then it suddenly went away then it came back briefly? had no changes to my diet or lifestyle i exercise regularly so it was super weird ... any idea what could cause that ?! I'm young so I'm not sure why , maybe stress ?
Same here... Out of nowhere I'm constipated.. Even tho I ate all of my life so many fibers
@@mihaelamocanu4854 have u been stressed ? im back to normal now, but was constipated for months i think because i was in a stressful living situation, but once i moved into a new place things gradually went back to normal ..
@@bmruby26 I'm not stressed.... I just took some probiotics.. Now I don't take them anymore...it seems like it's better. And I started eating black chocolate.. Like 100% cacao
... Maybe this is why I was constipated
are you saying the chocolate made you constipated?
Check for colon camcer if sudden change for no reason.
What about 60 years plus cronic constipation? Trying everything, help
Eat guava it will help you
Bowel denervation alters gut microbiome ?
I have extension in my g1track look pregnant havnt been for 3 weeks
WA Lane called it chronic intestinal stasis in 1923 ! DP Burkitt nearly got to it with his “dietary fibre” hypothesis in 1973. Most recent is “Autonomic denervation and Western diseases” Am J Med 2014;127:3-4 !! It is the precursor of. Many OBGYN conditions and many extrapelvic conditions. This is THE primary justification for lifestyle medicine !
2 to 3 times per day! I've been told so many times that I am full of it. If I went that often I would become the hollow man! 8->
Gallbladder removal.....eight years ago; residual problems.
IBS NIGHTMARE.
Hope this issue would be covered on a future podcast.
Same, I kept going to the ER. Finally they had to go give me the solution to clean you out for a colonoscopy because I didn't go for almost 6 weeks. Nauseated, throwing up, mood swings, pain, bloating etc.
@@kericaswell6084 I don’t know if it work for you but I use NOW brand Super Enzymes when I eat and milk thistle daily. Plus prunes soaked in water everyday. It’s a hassle but it’s been working for me. Good luck. Don’t give up. Keep trying. You’ll find something that works for you.
Not a lot of takeaways from this video. But they seem like very nice guys.
What is the better treatment stole soften or fiber addative(Meral ax)
After 65 years I found BileX is what I needed.
@@KKing55 interesting you solved your constipation with Bile X.would you please tell me how many you take per day with or without meals. Thank you I’ve tried everything with little improvement.
@@lindapelle8738 Initialy I started with BileX. It says take 3, but I just took one. Now I have switched to Bile Acid Factores and take 2. I always takek them when I take my fat soluble vitamins, D, E, A, K2 so that I will absorb them well. Usually before or after a meal. This has made a world of difference in my life that no dr. ever shared with me.
@@KKing55 wow thank you, going to order some asap 👍
Eating while I’m watching this 🤣

Dr Hyman please let ypur guest speak
True. I also wish guests would get to the point and be more clear. They are experts but sometimes are not clear; go on and on.

Let your guest speak, you constantly interrupt and as a listener it is so annoying!!
The only thing that works for me is cafe coffee.nothing else.i eat clean and drink water but still no good bowel movement
Dr Hyman. You are very knowledgeable but you interrupt so much that it affects your effectiveness
Go Cyprus
Need to talk lessand let guest do more
Wtf does he even have guests!?
You should never be going to the bathroom 2-3 times a day! You will be so depleted of vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, and good bacteria
Please let your guest speak. You keep interrupting him. I can’t concentrate on the content of video.
It’s his show
Eat fruit and more raw. Check out the iodine protocol and check for mold!!!
I'm always surprised when Dr. Hyman talks about things like constipation, gut inflammation, putrefaction in the intestines, etc. but never addresses the fact that all these problems can be caused directly by meat in the diet. Even though he is a fan of grass-fed, organic beef, these problems can be caused by beef--and other animal products--even when produced under those conditions.
Cite your sources!
Exactly
@@Angie2Pink 0 fiber, that’s the source
@@Angie2Pink It's not that hard to Google it. Do a Google search for "meat and inflammation in the gut" and see how many articles come up, from reputable sources.
@@susanlewis44 I Google Scholar, not Google it. And the data doesn't support your view! Anyway you can believe what you want, but my question is: why are you here though? To argue on a doctor's page?
Mark are you losing weight?
Mark is extra handsome.
Pretty hands
What the heck is so funny Dr. Hyman? Constipation is not a laughing matter. Not sure why he is always laughing! It’s so annoying…he always has excellent information and I been watching him forever but the laughing is so annoying!
This guy is wack we need to poop every day and people need to eat greens and vegetable and fruit everyday, and yes poop between one to three times a day
I think this is BS😏🤬
Not an argument.
Raise points to refute if you can.
Well he is a world renown doctor and his statements are based on scientific research. Who are you again?
To much talking, and really you don't go to the point,I am wasting my time, watching your video,no help at all.
