Dann is amazing! He was one of the main go-to session guitarists for MANY well-known recordings and songs from the 1980's and 90's. He should be listened to and well-respected, because he knows it and has been through the process probably HUNDREDS of times! LOL
I first heard of Dann by looking through the liner notes for some country music albums on CD my parents had when I was a kid, many of which he produced. When I came to this video I already knew he was a great guitarist, but I didn't think he would be THAT awesome at playing.
@6672rock Dann just produced Reba's brand new album "All The Women I Am". I know when people think Reba compared to the likes of Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts, & Carrie Underwod these days, it doesn't think like much, however, this is the first time Dann Huff & Reba have ever worked together. Her album is AMAZING.......people really should check it out.
Why they are taking these awesome vids down??Today's music is shitty and you can get absolutely everything about it.And these rare artist's videos that actually were from a real and original artist,is ungettable.I gladly pay even 50bucks for stuff like this,but ITS NOT FOR SALE!!!!
Has Dann ever mentioned here or anywhere else what kind of guitar pick he uses, or is that one of his "secret weapons" in getting the tone that he gets?

It's amazing how he went on to produce everybody from Faith Hill to Megadeth. A great guitarist and a good ear for a well-writen song!
